We had a superb experience with Alyssa! From first communication to delivery of the photo gallery, she was prompt, helpful, and kind. She answered all of my questions and provided helpful advice. During the family photoshoot itself, she made us feel really comfortable. It was me, my husband, and our two sons (3 and 1 year-olds). At any point, at least one of the kids was challenging and needing lots of prompting and comforting by us. She immediately put us at ease, making sure we felt there was no need to force a specific pose or shot. She clearly knew how to give them space but also capture as many photos she could in their shining moments. She was sweet and patient throughout. She gave us excellent prompts and we felt guided the whole time. Alyssa not only made the session very enjoyable but the portraits delivered were absolutely sensational. I'm so happy I found Alyssa... with my baby's one year old birthday approaching, I was looking EVERYWHERE for a photographer who would be able to capture his big personality in a cake smash photo shoot. After doing a lot of research AND searching, I found Alyssa and after our email conversation, I decided to move forward with her. BEST decision ever!! She is so kind and understanding due to the fact that a medical situation came up the same day his cake smash photo shoot was supposed to happen. After I explained the situation to her, she told me not to worry about it and that she would be able to reschedule my little boy after he was in the clear. Anyways, long story short, 1 month later, we were able to get the photo shoot done and the pictures came out beautiful! Alyssa was SO good with our 1 year old! She was really patient and she just really knew how to get his attention and how to take the best photos of him. She was really able to capture his personality and all of the different faces that he makes from being super happy and silly to super upset and cranky (LOL). The session was so easy and I'm sad that it went by so quick, but it was REALLY a great experience for myself and my husband. The most important thing of all... the pricing! The pricing is exactly as other yelpers have stated, SUPER reasonable and I LOVE the fact that I was able to get more than just a set amount of photos (for our session we received 98 edited photos), because nowadays everybody either prints their own photos or they just want to have it on their phone. Lastly, I would recommend her to ANYBODY that asks! And after talking to her throughout the session and finding out what other photo sessions she does, I am most definitely going back to her when I have my next baby.. and family portraits... and so on and so forth!! As a growing family I wanted to capture this exciting time in our life. This being said Alyssa did exactly that! We choose her package deal of shooting maternity and newborn shots. This included trying to take photos with our 2 year old daughter, which was not an easy thing to do just cause if her age. However Alyssa took amazing photos and did a great job getting our daughter not only interested in what she was doing but actually participating! We really enjoyed our recent newborn in-home photo session with Alyssa. She was flexible at the last minute when we needed to change our session day and time. She was great with the baby and easily moved him into the cutest positions and wrapped him in various swaddles. It was a very comfortable photo shoot, and she came right in and got to work. About halfway through the session, the baby got hungry and a little fussy. She was very patient as I nursed him and got him settled so we could continue. Alyssa has taken photos several times for our family and we have always been extremely happy with them. The first time we met, I was a little camera shy but Alyssa made me feel very comfortable (which wasn't an easy task as I was eight months pregnant and not feeling photogenic!)
