Where do I start? Joy was such a sweetheart and so hospitable when I first arrived. As a new mom recovering from postpartum, she knew carrying a carseat was heavy and helped me get my baby into her house. I've never worked with a newborn photographer so I cant compare but Joy was beyond more experienced and prepared than I imagined for being a photographer that was trying to build her portfolio. She was well prepared with baby wipes, a heater, and a baby shusher that made the session go by so smooth. What I love about Joy is that she is super patient when it came to our session. I've did a lot of searches and decided to go with Joy for my maternity photo shoots. With the care and professionalism with infant photos, I found it reliable to go with her. She is also fluent in mandarin and English, made it easier to express the style and poses for the photos. Before the shooting date, she communicated with me about what to expect and what to prepare. Joy is the baby whisperer! Posing babies is a lot of work, but what was estimated to be a 3 hour photoshoot only took 2 hours. Photography was indoors but she collected temperatures from us, minimized amount of people that could go with us, and had her mask on the whole time.
