I have many friends in Marketing/Advertising locally and could surely find a good design shop in San Diego, but these guys are superb and have kept me loyal for more than 6 years. They are creative, yet organized, structured but open-minded. I have a very strong perspective and they manage to accommodate it while elevating my ideas and concepts to a higher level than I could have on my own. Excellent collaborators, I've worked with them for my own needs and that of clients (for whom i act as an advisor) and they are always professional, deadline-oriented and fast to respond to my needs on any project I need their help on. I value their creativity, perspective and work ethic. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needs branding and marketing on a wide range of products. GREAT design work takes a lot of time and is almost never done properly on the first draft. If the project requires multiple skill sets, then it makes sense that you'll have multiple people helping complete the task. we've found that the price stings a little when you start, but we don't think it's a Doejo thing -- it's just the reality of stepping up into the real world of graphic design. there are plenty of options to have some random friend of a friend design something for free or for cheap, but that's not something you can build a brand on -- and not something that will be there to support your new projects as your brand grows. Doejo will give you amazing results, but they're not mind readers and not necessarily an expert in your brand's industry/field. you'll need to put in the time and effort to FULLY shape the project, get them acquainted with your brand/industry, and collaborate on adjustments to the project's direction throughout the process. The alternative to great agency work like Doejo is.... hiring 2+ design experts, incorporating them into your culture, teaching them your company's mission/goals, and having them tackle all your design/web projects. to do that at the level of Doejo would probably cost $200,000+ every year.

Let me start my review by saying unfortunately I never got the chance to work with design and…read morepromote. I was looking for a company to design a new website for me. These guys had an impressive site and showed up #1 on google so figured they must be good at SEO. I had an initial consultation with an account manager and was very impressed with them as a company, their process and with the account manager and her knowledge as well. I've talked to quite a few web design firms and this was the one I was planning on going with. I had a call on a Friday morning and was told I would get a quote the following Tuesday. Tuesday came and went. I waited a week before contacting them and was told sorry they will get a quote out right away. I must have followed up with them another 3-4 times and continually was told sorry we'll get one over to you. It's been about a month and never got the quote. This leads me to one of two conclusions. They are either really bad at customer service or my budget of 5k-7k wasn't worth their time. I've come to learn these many of these smaller boutique firms won't touch a build for under 20k. If thats the case thats fine but at least have the courtesy to tell me that. I was disapointed as after my consultation I was thoroughly impressd and was planning on using this company over the dozen or so others I spoke with but unfortunately was never able to get a quote. I know many people are bad at follow up once they have your money but if this is the customer service I get when you are trying to earn my business I can only imagine how bad it is once you have my money.

It's great working with Web 312…read more I was introduced to Josh from Web 312 over 2 years ago. He provided a quick fix solution to our website, which was a disaster to begin with. He helped us out when we didn't have much of a budget and created a bit of functionality to our site. Then last year, we chose to upgrade the event page on our site to include fields and gather information. Web 312 delivered this feature quickly and with perfect accuracy. It was exactly what we needed and upgraded our site from functional to decent. Finally, this year, after working with them for the last 2 years and watching them consistently deliver, I had them redo our site completely. They met with me as many times as I asked them to, they were quick to respond to all inquiries, updates and requests I made. They delivered the features that I specifically asked for and added great insight when I needed a little help. Most importantly, they completed the project exactly when they said they were going to. In fact, I told them I needed the site earlier than I actually needed it done just to be safe. But they were on time, which means I got the product earlier than expected...which I KNOW from years of experience is something that rarely happens with web/graphic design projects. I now have a great website that represents our business. You can visit it at www.citizenbar.com I would highly recommend working with Web 312 for any web related project. You will be satisfied with all aspects of your experience.
