They fixed our problem super quick by jumping the condenser but told us that that it was a temporary fix and they didn't know how long it would last. I asked for a quote for a completely new condenser unit. After some research their price seemed very fair. They responded quickly and were out installing by Monday or Tuesday. Installation, including moving the condenser further away from the house's gas line took less than a day. They even came back later to change out the thermostat to a more modern one. We were trying to get a smart thermostat but we didn't have the C wire which the thermostat needs for constant power. They tried more than one solution and were there for hours. Unfortunately they couldn't make it work. But I was happy with the effort and it showed they cared about the service they were providing.

It was very tough job to remove the old heater from my attic. They do not cut corners and install things the right way the first time. If you know something about your home equipment you can appreciate a neat, well done installation which is as important as the equipment itself. I picked this company in the first place because I felt trust to Frank, the owner, who did the estimate for me and gave me straight and reasonable price and no gimmicks (like some big companies around). The guys are very friendly and do not mind to give useful tips about how to maintain your equipment.

I called a few other companies but they were available later in the or the next day. So I agreed for Adam's to come by knowing of their $120 feet.I had been doing some construction next to the emergency cut off switch & not realized I must had hit the switch. Adam's company saw the switch off when they came in and asked if I turned off the switch. They turned on the switch & everything was working again. They told me a lot of people turn it off not knowing. I was thankful that it wasn't any major. I wasn't happy that they charged me an additional $60 for labor. $180 for being at my house for less than 5 min. Then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to clean my furnace for $412. I will NEVER use this company again. Straight greed!

We have been using Eugene Adams for our home since about 2018 because our home warranty required us…read moreto. Now that we haven't renewed that warranty, we will be moving on to another company. Here's why: From the replacement of our heat pump in 2017 or 2018 (I can't remember), we have never had a job done that didn't require a follow up because of a mistake or an oversight in the service. Most recently, our heat pump wasn't switching back and forth from heat to cooling with the changing season. We called to get service. I was at work when the technician arrived, but he charged my wife over $100 to replace the air filter claiming that was the problem when we had mentioned in the initial call there was a problem with the compressor. It wasn't the air filter. The problem continued. On a return visit, I recreated the problem for the technician (incredibly nice guy, for what it's worth) and he came to the conclusion that a piece in the compressor needed some lubricant. The store to pick up that lubricant was closed, so he would pick some up and return another day. We never heard another word. So why three stars? My heart says this is a 2 star review. The guys do know what they are talking about, and, judging by other reviews, we seem to be an anomaly. It is why we continued to give them chance after chance for the past 5 years. I am tacking on that bonus star because the technicians that come out are incredibly nice and always answer my questions when I have them and I like that quality. Unfortunately life is getting just a little too busy to keep following up every time they come out and the job isn't complete, so we're going to look for someone who will get it right on the first try.

This project cost over $15,000! We have a water/mold issue with our bathroom ceiling and since this is a health and safety matter, I expected that the company would send someone out to verify that this issue is not being caused from their previous work. I was told someone would come out after their A/C emergency calls were finished. When nobody called to schedule, I called back two days later and was told they would not send anyone out. They told me they no longer work on bathroom ventilation and gave me the name of another company that could come out to look. I left a voicemail with Angela Rubino Hines, the president of the company, and still have not heard back from her after several days. I never leave reviews but felt it was important to warn others about how they treat their clients. I have been in the Gold Maintenance plan with their company for years, and this is how they treat a serious health and safety issue. I'd hate to see how they treat their regular or potential customers. From their own website: "Our talented team of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and home performance professionals takes our company to the next level by providing the highest level of workmanship and customer service possible." This does not match up with their current actions. I will update this review if I ever hear back from Angela Rubino Hines or this company.

So please get three pricing quotes, for any new equipment and or service. Also Bovio-Rubino service agreements do not cover the major problems you may experience. Do your research, you will be glad you did. I was a customer over the years until my system broke-down. I lost all trust in Bovio-Rubin, when i was told my system could not be repaired and a large part of my system would have to be replaced or purchase a whole new system. This was in spite of me having their Platinum (highest/best) service plan. I did my research and requested quotes from other vendors. The pricing from Bovio Rubino was significantly higher. Their competitors offered much lower pricing and great service.

They recently started offering Plumbing services and my first experience was so-so. As part of the maintenance plan, you now get a plumbing inspection every year. The plumber who came out today was very nice but missed an issue that I pointed out to him. He did have his Master Plumber that was hiding in the truck (? Seemed odd haha) come take a look. There was some estimate issues leading me to think the installation of a toilet would be $1,000 for labor alone. However, the owner was quick to rectify and look into the issue personally once he became aware, and was very open to feedback on how to make the estimates more clear. I would still like to see them itemize the cost of materials in the future, but it seems to be something at least on his radar. I would give this company a chance if you're having issues. They seem to truly want to do the right thing by the customers and their employees, which is important.
