I was referred to a local unnamed glass company that I explained what I wanted and I sent pictures as well and waited a couple days, then called for a follow up again with no response then once more and received a call that they were simply too busy to handle my shower door and service requests...!?!? I came on Yelp and found Ace Hi, good reviews and saw some of the pictures and realized they likely installed the two shower doors that I needed adjusted. I called spoke to Fred gave him the rundown of what I was looking for along with measurements & pictures and he quickly gave me a ballpark as to pricing on that first phone call - which was more than fair. I asked to be put on the schedule and he said they'd call in a couple weeks; sure enough, after a couple weeks I got a call they were ready to come out to install. Fred showed up had the new basement sliding glass doors in in no time and went to work cleaning, adjusting, throwing a new sweep on and a new bead of silicone on the old shower doors that they had installed here at the house some years back. Super nice gentlemen, all as advertised, great job and nice finished product(s). I'd highly recommend Ace Hi Glass. Very pleased with their service from start to finish.

It's hard to find services in rural central Illinois, but my I landed on Central, Illinois Glass's website after my first Google search. After a short phone call and some measurements, Mike was able to lay out a timeline of what he needed to do to order the glass, drive the distance to Havana, and install the new safety glass. This was a 3-way repair order that originated in St. Louis, to Mike in Metamora, Illinois, and finished up a week later in Havana, Illinois, and everything went very well without a hitch! Overall we were pleased with the work this group did, but displeased with what we considered to be…read morea serious oversight. We paid Arrow to replace a glass pane in our front door that had broken. We priced out two different options, and nowhere along the way did Arrow let us know that one of the two options would have a logo in the middle of the glass. If they had, we would have gone with the other option. The workmen did not show me the glass prior to installation. Only after installation did we realize there was a big 1" x 1" logo etched into the glass, right at eye level, beside our front door. We feel this is something that should have been discussed with us prior to installation, but we were told our only option would be to pay for a second installation. We will not be working with this company in the future.
