From day one, their team showed genuine compassion, professionalism, and dedication. They took the time to understand his health issues and created a care plan that made him feel safe, supported, and respected. One of the biggest challenges for our family was managing his medications, and the caregivers handled this with absolute precision and care. They were always attentive, organized, and patient--making sure he stayed on track and fully explaining anything he didn't understand. It gave our entire family peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. Beyond the medical support, the caregivers treated my uncle with warmth and kindness. They listened to him, encouraged him, and made his days brighter. It's rare to find a team that combines skill, compassion, and reliability so seamlessly. I am truly grateful for everything they've done. If you're looking for a home care agency that goes above and beyond, this is the one you can trust.

She sat me down In Rented office they had been in just 1 month & proceeded to make 4! Phone calls to try to find me clients in my area? 40 mins away. Tried to see if I would travel to Gloucester-1.5 hours from my home! It was very unprofessional & disorganized. She told me I had to go to the Newton office next week to re-do the interview. She tried to email & have me scan a barcode to apply right from my phone instead of sitting me at an office computer. When I asked for the WiFi, i saw that it was for a rented space, not for connected care. Saw many red flags from the onset of contact. The office had no sign of permanence, nor did I get the feeling they are legit. If they are, they churn/burn through caregivers. Stay away.

My friend could no longer live on her own and needed a safe nurturing environment with on site activities. I was on the hunt. I left a message one evening at Heritage and was contacted early the next morning. It was one of the easiest things I have done in the past few years dealing with facilities for both my Mom and husband. Everyone I met went out of their way and rearranged their schedules to facilitate a quick transfer out of a rehabilitation facility which my friend was paying out of pocket for since her insurance ran out. I am so impressed by the staff and their attitudes. They seem to enjoy their jobs! My friend loves the activities and the food. She calls me to brag about some of her meals. She is the happiest I have seen her in years! If you have someone who needs a safe haven to live and thrive in check out the Heritage. Retired RN

I applaud their nurses and staff all the way down to the maintenance staff. I especially want to mention one nurse in particular Nurse Moon/Mun? (Spelling may be off I never saw how she spelled her name) always took time to explain things to me, always gave me the story if it was another or a new medicine I had to take, or to answer questions. She was so sweet and attentive. She is truly a credit to her profession, I hope this reaches her to let her know much of a difference she made under her care. I felt more safe with her on duty. Not to say all the others weren't up to snuff at all. They were all fine and outstanding in thier field. Thank you for the great care. Jim Mangan

The company failed to perform an adquate reference check on this person, who had no business caring for older, sick, and vulnerable seniors. The "background check" done for this perpetrator was careless and incomplete. I, myself, just had to Google their name and address to uncover 2 ADDITIONAL previous arrests, which should have caught the owner's attention and prevented him from hiring her in the first place! Preferred Care at Home (PCAH) is everything I could ask for in a major time of need! When my…read more81-year-old father needed to undergo emergency heart surgery a few months ago, I was suddenly scrambling to find qualified and caring in-home support services to support him as he slowly regained his post-surgical independence and mobility. I made several calls based on online searches and reviews, but Brent at PCAH stood out immediately as being above-and-beyond typical in-home services. He responded to my inquiries immediately (within the same day, while I was waiting in the hospital during my dad's operation) and he spent time with me, both on the phone and in-person, patiently gathering information about our specific family situation and needs. I felt, and still feel, like he really understands my concerns when it comes to finding the right care for my father. He took the time to meet my father in the hospital and pair us up with the RIGHT caregiver - someone who would encourage my dad's recovery and provide companionship in a deeply vulnerable time. The PCAH caregiver Brent found for us is an absolute angel - a bright light in what could have otherwise been a horrific time for our family. She treats my dad and our family with so much kindness and respect - they cook together, they pray together, and I can see my dad's confidence and mobility improving steadily with her support. He looks forward to her visits and she allows me to return to my own work/life with the peace of mind that my dad is well cared-for when I'm away. In addition, as my dad continues regaining some independent mobility and our care needs shift, PCAH has been extremely flexible and easy to work with in adjusting our caregiver's schedule. I recommend PCAH to anyone who wants to support their aging parent in a home-setting. I cannot thank PCAH (and Brent) enough for taking so much time and care to help us out.
