I live in Springfield Illinois and the small community of Chatham just south of us suffered an…read moreunimaginable tragedy last week when a driver suffered a seizure and drove through a popular after school program killing an 18 year old an 8 year old and two 7 year old girls and causing injuries, some severe, to many others. The community, and all the surrounding communities came together to try to ease the unimaginable pain from this terrible event. The local Skyzone stepped up and provided a day of support for the children of Chatham. The community was touched by the gesture. Several $1000 was spent for the use of the space and for pizzas and other items. It is now being reported that the manager of that location was fired for this wonderful gift to a community of children who lost friends, siblings, family. Many of whom were in the building and witnessed the horrific aftermath. The remaining employees have put in their 2 weeks notice in support of the manager. Skyzone does not deserve your money and clearly has no sense of right and wrong, nor do they care about children. Our entire community is now boycotting them and hope to see it spread across the country In honor of these four girls and all those left heartbroken.

This place is trash…read more - the party area assigned to us had trash on the floor--straws, utensils, napkins from the party before us. The place looked unkempt like everything was set up in a rush. Extra plates and utensils from the previous party were just placed on the sides. - The biggest issue was the AC did not work! The place didnt provide fans or anything to keep the party area cool enough to be comfortable.. my guests and I were burning up in there esp with the heatwave. They could've called me early in the day and let me know their AC was broken so I could make arrangements like maybe bring fans from home or something. Elevate did not offer ANY solution to their problem and caused inconvenience. Mind you my party was later in the afternoon and Elevate could have called and warned me about the broken AC! - Very very poor customer service! Nothing was explained at all. No calls 2-3 days before the party to go over things. For $600 I expected to have the party area dedicated to my childs party, family and friends -- but they had told me when I arrived that I was going to be sharing the space! I was livid but had to suck it up cuz wtf else can I do?? The host assigned to my party was rude, chaotic and then blamed his behavior on how busy and hot the place was.. AND he had the audacity to ask for a tip after the party..... what in the actual hell.

The man at the front desk just kept on reading his book or phone and ignored the chaos. I am way too old to try to climb up into the thing so I was lucky that the young mother retrieved her son then went after my little guy. Much better supervision is needed there. I won't be back.

The building really is massive which we were not expecting…read more Our 20 month old still isn't walking unassisted and our house is so small that she can get anywhere while walking along and holding onto a table, chair, or couch. Ergadoozy has tons of open area to encourage her to take some independent steps! The little shopping carts she loves to hold onto and walk so while it's not totally independent, we'll take it, lol. We got the 6 month pass and it's already paid for itself with how often we've gone. I haven't had any other issues with kids or parents and everyone has been so polite, even helping my daughter stand back up when their kids might bump into her while playing. It's so nice to have a space for kids to be kids! It can be loud and busy, so if you aren't a fan of that maybe go later in the evening on weekdays when it's slower. I love that kids can run around yelling and be kids in a safe environment. It's also great for her to try new toys so we're building a nice Christmas list every time we go, lol. There's a gift shop inside too so we try to steer her away from that.

I had never been there before , so I agreed and took the kids to Urban Air, Normal, Illinois. We arrived approximately 11 am an hour after the park opened. There was a sign on the door that the zip line was not in operation that day so that was a disappointment. Didn't realize that we needed to get the releases all done beforehand so took us a while to check-in and get all the releases we needed. While I was waiting on some info I was speaking to the person at the counter and asking which package they recommended for my teenagers? She basically read the menu to me without recommending or explaining anything. Decided not to get platinum but everyone purchased the next step down for $28 each. 4 of the 5 kids needed the special socks at $5 each. I didn't know it until later but for $33 discounted socks are included in premium pkg. While checking out, I started to notice most of the players running about were shorties, approx age 4-6? Needless to say, my teenagers stood out! We headed into the park and the kids quickly found out that all the "good" activities were Premium and not available to them. They tried everything available and within an hour were sitting with me in a booth playing on their phones. I offered to bump up everyone to Premium but no one wanted to stay as they were hungry and wanted to leave. Decided not to eat at Urban Air as I had already checked out the ladies room and other areas of the park. The ladies room was already a mess after being open an hour with only one barely functioning sink. The working sink only had one working handle that took some work to figure out how to actually shut off the water. The door to the lady's room was disgusting with fingerprints over 5 ft high and obviously not cleaned recently. Tables in the snack area had not been wiped. Very disappointed at our experience at Urban Air, I stopped a person in the blue management t-shirt and asked to speak with a manager. She wasn't able to assist and I asked a manager to speak with me and pointed to where we were sitting. Kids went to play while I waited 30 minutes. No one came over so we left to get lunch elsewhere. I feel that I shouldn't have let the kids pick the location or maybe done more research before we set out but overall, this park was a disappointment for anyone over 5 years old. My advice would be Urban Air great for little kids but find something else for teens. As far as the park itself goes, dirty, dingy and in need of some important repairs. Management communication terrible/ nonexistent. I would not recommend Urban Air, Normal, Illinois. P.S. Sorry this review was not done promptly but when you sign up to play at Urban Air, you agree to communication and every time I get another Urban Air email, I am disappointed all over again. I couldn't just unsubscribe without commenting on our terrible experience.

So when I saw that CGA offered an adult gymnastics class I was so excited to get back into it! I haven't found any other gymnastics gym that offers adult classes in Champaign so I think that's really special. I was able to regain many of the skills that I had when I was a kid in a fairly short period of time. Although I had previous gymnastics experience, it's not required. Some of my classmates were brand new to gymnastics and were able to get a lot out of the class as well. If you're looking to learn a new skill or just have fun I highly recommend CGA!
