The dental technician (Jen) was very friendly, kept the visit humorous, always offered explanations of procedures, discussed options available to me, and was so gentle that I feel I can go back with very little or no anxiety. My teeth are sparkling and feel great. Dr Harry came into the room as well at one point to examine my teeth. Moreover, they were never on time for the schedule each time I was going. Later then, in one of my appointments for one of my teeth, I waited half an hour more till he came to see me, and after he gave anesthesia to my tooth, I waited again for like 45 minutes; that was ridiculous because my appointment was at 12 pm and took 2 hours more till he did work on one of my tooth for 5 minutes lmao just 5 minutes he took to do it lmao and waited like couple hours! His assistant also knew that it is not fair to wait that very long, and I asked her where Dr. Hussine was and when he would come back, and she was saying I do not know and sorry about your waiting. And today Dr, Houssine called and told us he could not continue with us and go somewhere else because my teeth have so much work to be done, and he can not do it; what does that mean? are you leaving your customer in the middle of the road? After misleading us with the affordable money you suggested initially and after a while starting to charge us extra. Furthermore, not being punctual for your costumer that pays a lot of money, after that you going to through them on the middle of the road because there is not much money you can worth and get? or because there is more money you can worth from other's and do not want to kill your time with us because you not claiming so much money from me?

They seem genuinely committed to providing excellent dental care for all, and this is made clear in every interaction I've had with them (from broken tooth, to cavity, to routine cleaning etc!). I have recommended them to so many pals, who also now rave about them, and would really suggest them to anyone who is typically anxious to go to the dentist or is looking for a reputable and safe place to go. I really trust the staff here, who clearly stay on top of the latest dental care research and are always transparent about the kinds of procedures available to you. Firstly I'm not a person to leave a negative review, but this has been the worst experience with a…read moredental office and would like to provide some insight to anyone new to Guelph and with a baby/toddler. After months of considering a new dentist after the birth of our daughter and moving to Guelph. We ended up choosing moose lake dental because of the positive reviews and friendly atmosphere it promoted. We were wrong with our assumptions and would definitely warn people to steer away from moose lake dental if you have any children and accidentally arrive late because of difficulties getting your child to leave on time. Me and my wife were scheduled for back to back cleanings, I went first and was told during the cleaning that an additional cleaning may be required. I was okay with that, but after the cleaning was finished I was not provided the full service that I came in for which was scaling and a polish. They later mention it is because I was late. I've never in my life had this type of treatment because of being a bit late. Then my wife goes into the room and gets a full dental cleaning service completed, scaling and polish and polishing only taking 2-3 mins, confirmed by my wife. On top of it all, we weren't provided the bag of goodies that all other dentists give you after every cleaning visit, with a toothbrush and dental floss, sometimes a promotional item. Secondly, leading up to the appointment we were in contact through email letting us know how our visit will be because of the anxieties we had bringing our little girl. They ensured us they wanted our baby girl to come to the visit to be introduced and familiarized with all the dental tools and the whole environment. As new patients we expected to have a meeting with Radovan and introduce himself to us because we were new patients. I could see him in his office standing and wasn't busy with any patients during our 2 hour visit. As much as I'd like to think we were just unlucky with our experience. I highly suggest that this dental office not overbook and allow for time to introduce themselves to new patients especially when the receptionist was reassuring us and recommended we do back to back appointments so our baby gets familiar. With all this being said, be prepared to be overcharged the recommended maximums from your benefit company. They will tell you your benefit is using last year's rates. They are not accommodating and will try to squeeze as much money and enforce you to come for additional appointments to complete a 3min procedure of polishing. Originally upon checkout they wanted to charge for the polishing, but we had to let the receptionist know that the hygienist did not finish and didn't complete all work stated. Just keep in mind when reviewing any paperwork to ensure everything they did was in fact what they did. Lastly, they promote a certain lifestyle of drinking and gambling. They provide non alcoholic beverages(Heineken and Waterloo Radler) in the waiting room and have a wheel of fortune slot machine in the kids play closet. Overall summary, Choose a family friendly dentist and look for recommendations from other parents in Guelph from mom groups or any other parent meetups. If you absolutely want to give moose lake dental a try. Just remember to not show up late at all or you risk not receiving the full outlined service, and do not double book appointments under the assumption your little ones would be welcomed and provided a fun safe environment to play.

This year I forgot to opt out of dental coverage and didn't feel like trekking back home to have my teeth cleaned so I booked an appointment. It was very easy to book as they had a lot of availability. When I arrived I filled out some paperwork and then was seen very shortly after. The hygienist was sweet and made an effort to make conversation. The best part by far was being able to watch Netflix during the appointment. I had to wait a bit for the dentist to come back from what I assume was his lunch break. He checked my X-rays and was able to fill a small cavity immediately without needing an freezing (I said I was okay with the pain). He also answered a question I had about gum health and made sure I understood what he said. Overall, a really great experience! If you're a Laurier student covered by the dental plan, go by for a free cleaning!

Under any circumstances, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GOING HERE. The receptionist is super…read morefriendly and caring but other than that, the doctor and staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. All the doctor wants to do is take money out of the pockets of people or their insurance. I came here a month ago when I accidentally chipped one of my front teeth. I recently graduated from university and was no longer on my parent's insurance. So, I paid for my service out of pocket. They told me to be cautious when eating and that these fillings usually last up to 5 years. About a month later, the filling fell off and was re-chipped when I was eating soft foods (rice and beans). I came back to them so they could fix it up for me. I was extremely upset and disappointed since I paid a couple hundred dollars for something that came out shortly after or was not done properly. I assumed it would be free of charge since it just got it filled several weeks ago. Instead, the doctor demanded that I pay a minimum of $150 to fix up the small chip and made it seem like it was my fault, stating that she informed me that I was not allowed to chew on it at all, which was 100% not the case. To fix this, the whole process would have added up to $500. Afterwards, I did my research and called another dental office in the area and explained my situation to them and they said that this should have been fixed free of charge based on the time that it occurred. If you want to go to a credible and reliable dentist, please look elsewhere if you want to save yourself a couple hundred of dollars and from disappointment.
