He checked my status every now and then in 1 or two min within my two years of treatment. What was worse, they changed my doctor without even noticing me at the last stage of my treatment. I told the new doctor my bite was not good, my jaws were sour. But the new doctor told me everting is fine. I was like, what???? Also, they put a metal wire on my teeth for retention after my treatment, telling me it will last lifetime. That is so not true, the wire fell off recently and I can not even find a place to fix it.

Every time my child went in to get their braces adjusted, they had to return to get something corrected. For example, they didn't clip a wire close enough and it went into the cheek. And if they are in pain, your option is to drive for a couple hours to another location or leave them in pain for several days. My child's teeth are straight but they seem to be at a weird angle. If you decide to talk to them about work, make sure you talk to a second orthodontist to determine whether you are paying too much.

This year I forgot to opt out of dental coverage and didn't feel like trekking back home to have my teeth cleaned so I booked an appointment. It was very easy to book as they had a lot of availability. When I arrived I filled out some paperwork and then was seen very shortly after. The hygienist was sweet and made an effort to make conversation. The best part by far was being able to watch Netflix during the appointment. I had to wait a bit for the dentist to come back from what I assume was his lunch break. He checked my X-rays and was able to fill a small cavity immediately without needing an freezing (I said I was okay with the pain). He also answered a question I had about gum health and made sure I understood what he said. Overall, a really great experience! If you're a Laurier student covered by the dental plan, go by for a free cleaning!

I recently graduated from university and was no longer on my parent's insurance. So, I paid for my service out of pocket. They told me to be cautious when eating and that these fillings usually last up to 5 years. About a month later, the filling fell off and was re-chipped when I was eating soft foods (rice and beans). I came back to them so they could fix it up for me. I was extremely upset and disappointed since I paid a couple hundred dollars for something that came out shortly after or was not done properly. I assumed it would be free of charge since it just got it filled several weeks ago. Instead, the doctor demanded that I pay a minimum of $150 to fix up the small chip and made it seem like it was my fault, stating that she informed me that I was not allowed to chew on it at all, which was 100% not the case. To fix this, the whole process would have added up to $500. Afterwards, I did my research and called another dental office in the area and explained my situation to them and they said that this should have been fixed free of charge based on the time that it occurred. If you want to go to a credible and reliable dentist, please look elsewhere if you want to save yourself a couple hundred of dollars and from disappointment.
