I should know, I've spent a fortune on dental work done by him. Including complex gum surgery. He keeps up to date and attends dental conferences on an annual basis. Seems to be constantly learning more than the bare minimum needed for continuous professional development requirements. Some of their dental hygienists are very good too; attention to detail and keep your teeth very clean. Some other dentists who clean, and other hygienists, have been nowhere near as good. If price isn't the highest concern on the list for you in choosing a dentist in the area, I highly recommend him.

Usually when you miss an appointment you are charged a fee or if you miss three you are no longer a patient. This is not the policy at this facility for anyone who is on ODSP. I work full time but due to a serious medical condition I need ODSP to supplement my medical costs Had I not been on ODSP for medical coverage The office would have sent me a bill for the missed appointment and I could have rebooked. On the last 2 scheduled appointments for my husband- John the…read moreappointments were cancelled less than 15 minutes before the scheduled the appointments as we were told the hygienist was sick. As we live in Breslau It is a full 30-to-50-minute drive to New Hamburg Dental. So, we are almost at the office when we receive the cancellation calls. On the second cancellation call I informed the receptionist that this was very annoying to have such short cancellation notice for the second time as John had a stroke in April and I must drive him as he is not permitted to drive. I asked for more notice as I have taken 2 mornings off work only to be cancelled. I requested future appts be scheduled later in the day instead of first thing in the morning in case the hygienist calls in sick again. I was told the office would call me with a rescheduled appt. I did not receive a call but only a text message a few days prior to another new scheduled appt. to confirm a Sept 12 appt for 2 pm that I had no idea was booked as I didn't receive a call, but yes, I confirmed we would attend. Upon arrival for the 2 pm appt , the hygienist took x rays John's teeth he was asked if there was any health changes he AGAIN he in informed the hygienist he had a stroke in April . At that point the hygienist indicates she cannot clean John's teeth as it must be 6 months after a stroke that a patient can be worked on. But again, the receptionist was informed previously on the last cancelled visit that John had a stroke when I had indicated I am the driver to drive John, so obviously that was not noted. John was then asked to go to the waiting room and wait for the dentist to speak to him. Well after an hour of sitting in the waiting room and seeing the dentist several times in the reception area and not being seen at 315 pm and hour and 15 minutes after his scheduled appt he left. So, 3 drives out to New Hamburg dental for nothing. BUT that's not the ending October 14 I receive an invoice for 71.00 for Johns x-rays . I sent back a message indicating that I really don't think this is fair based on 3 trips out there when you were informed John had a stroke, I HAD TOTAKE TIME OFF WORK DRIVE HIM 3 TIMES, you cancelled on short notice and the receptionist didn't note he had a stroke and couldn't be worked on . BUT IT STILL gets better the dental clinic took my 71.00 invoice to collections on October 16th, 2022, when I ONLY RECEIVED the one and only invoice on October 14, 2022. I have since paid the invoice. I have been a Realtor in Waterloo Region for 43 years I know customer service and this is clearly what not to do. I cant imagine cancelling 2 of my scheduled appts with clients and not noting pertinent important information, then charging them and taking them to collections.
