What a bad experience I ever had with ironwood dental in Guelph. On the first appointment, I met…read moreDr. Hussein's son; he was gentle and told me he could help me with commanding a good amount of money that I could afford for cleaning and filing a few of my teeth. after meeting Dr. Houssine at my second appointment, everything has changed; they started to charge me extra money for cleaning and each time I was going for cleaning, they were supposed to do a full hour but unfortunately was less. Moreover, they were never on time for the schedule each time I was going. Later then, in one of my appointments for one of my teeth, I waited half an hour more till he came to see me, and after he gave anesthesia to my tooth, I waited again for like 45 minutes; that was ridiculous because my appointment was at 12 pm and took 2 hours more till he did work on one of my tooth for 5 minutes lmao just 5 minutes he took to do it lmao and waited like couple hours! His assistant also knew that it is not fair to wait that very long, and I asked her where Dr. Hussine was and when he would come back, and she was saying I do not know and sorry about your waiting. And today Dr, Houssine called and told us he could not continue with us and go somewhere else because my teeth have so much work to be done, and he can not do it; what does that mean? are you leaving your customer in the middle of the road? After misleading us with the affordable money you suggested initially and after a while starting to charge us extra. Furthermore, not being punctual for your costumer that pays a lot of money, after that you going to through them on the middle of the road because there is not much money you can worth and get? or because there is more money you can worth from other's and do not want to kill your time with us because you not claiming so much money from me?

I was visiting the area and a broken tooth that I had put off for way too long, started to reminded…read moreme that proper attention is required by a trained professional PDQ. I asked my mother and called her dentist and they couldn't see me right away. However they referred me to Dentistry on Jamieson. I called after hrs and left a message. The very next morning (a Saturday) I received a call from Jess and I was in, right away. Jess' directions were clear and the location was easy to find. I walked into a clean lined office of calmness which was needed cause I was a little apprehensive. I even noticed they have iPads for the kids. I was greeted warmly and after filling in a easy new patient form I was promptly brought into the examination room by Justine and she filled me in on X-rays and what they were going to do. The new office boasted state of the art new equipment including a panoramic X-ray that was so easy and my favorite the flat screen tv to distract me from what was about to happen in my mouth. Now I have avoided dentists like the plague after some harrowing experiences with 2 separate dentist. Dr. Asi came in and had a calm confidence about him and he put me to ease right away. He reviewed my urgent issues and brought up some new findings. His knowledge and communication with me was excellent as he explained everything clearly and answered all my questions and put my concerns to rest. Now was the time for the broken tooth extraction. Remember my dislike for this whole process. Dr. Asi's gentle approach and technique was amazing. I hardly felt anything and before I knew it, it was all over. Now for what could be the painful part - the cost. I don't have any dental coverage so everything is out of pocket. This part was just as gentle as the procedure. Dr. Asi's rates are the most reasonable out there. A great dentist with great rates, I am returning to get the other issues and recommendations taken care of. From the initial walk in, to meeting the great staff and a talented doctor it was the best dentist visit in my life. I was pleasantly relieved that it worked out that way. I live 3 hrs away and I know to stick to a good thing when I find it. And I have found it in the BEST PLACE for dental care, Dentistry on Jamieson. Thank you Dr. Asi - Jess - Justine
