No big deal. I reached out to them and we rescheduled. The guy who came by to look at the place where my bathroom used to be was perfectly pleasant. He explained the insurance process and said he would have an estimate for me in a week. I texted him more than a week later and he said he would have it in another week. He never got back to me. My new bathroom is not going to be cheap and I gave my business to someone who wanted it. I know who not call when I need to replace my roof.

I had to check on his work regularly because I found he didn't visit often and new crews would do different parts of the job and leave details undone. The job was finished later than expected which calls into question the higher price. The actual workers were great. Excellent actually. But the management of my job was pitiful, I'm sorry to say, Because everyone was very kind. Unfortunately, I will not use them again and would recommend looking elsewhere for a contractor that can manage jobs appropriately. From what I heard he had to much going on. My advice for this company is to take on less projects and do each job like it's for your mother. Be detail oriented, communicate a lot, and visit the property often to check the progress.

That is the complete opposite of my experience with Blue Moon Electric. Ed and his crew were not only responsive from day one, but went out of their way to help when an after work problem arose. During install of a generator at our home, the other independent contractor we were working with was non responsive and ended up not coming when they were supposed to install the gas line. Ed got in touch with them and organized them to come to finish the project the next day. The Blue Moon crew was kind, insanely helpful and even when it was not expected acted as the foreman for another contractor. Their price quote was very competitive, as most other contractors quoted us $2,000-$15,000 more than what we paid. All things considered I would have paid that extra amount for the work Blue Moon Electric did. Overall I highly recommend Blue Moon Electric to anyone in the greater Athens area looking for an electrician for a small or a big project!
