A very skilled young man that found the problem and had my unit working in about 30 minutes. Eric is a Miracle Worker and he charged me an incredibly reasonable amount for his work. Just an outstanding experience with him and I wouldn't use anyone else. He also saved me a tremendous amount of money on a unit that was very old! Just an all around talented and skilled young man with great listening and people skills that I am sure will take him far in his new enterprise. Cleaning up after a job (after 2 decades of working for GE myself) is a pet peeve of mine. These guys cleaned up their own mess as well as other stuff they weren't responsible for...NO KIDDING. I cant speak for the long term, but can tell you that these are my guys for the foreseeable future. NOTE: I got a lot of quotes. 8 of them were a $1000-$1500 higher than what I ended up paying (3 were weirdly less...Fly-by-night looking guys providing hand written notes as quotes...avoid them. Likely stolen units off construction sites) ONE LAST THING: Don't listen to that fool who hasn't actually done any business with ACS but gave them a one star for a traffic incident. What a pile. Kiewanna S. is not only from out of town but out of state. This review is way overdue!…read more My friend just called and complained about the contractor assigned by American Home Shield (AHS). She owned a unit in the same building I live and the contractor basically told her the filter used was the wrong size and the compressor being outdoor in the parking deck was not maintained properly by the building. Long story short, I told her those compressors were maintained by the homeowners. The contractor Air Design supposed to clean them. Instead they wanted to charge my friend additional outside the trade fee. Then I suddenly remembered I was so lucky last year to get assigned some really good technicians by the AHS. I almost could not remember the company and went searching on my phone which company came last year. So it was Epic Air. I remembered the staffs were very professional, honest and polite. They came back the second time since they need to get a replacement part for the HVAC. They definitely know what they were doing. I would certainly recommend Epic Air based on my experience with them.

I selected Epic as the vendor through the warranty online process on a Sunday and within 30 minutes, their scheduler texted me to set up an appointment. The promptness was awesome. She was also very friendly and accommodating as we had to make a couple adjustments to our appointment time. The technician arrived right on time. He was masked and wore booties. He quickly ascertained that our controller board was bad, had the replacement board on hand, and installed it quickly. It was a very smooth repair and our heat is working 100%. I would most definitely use Epic again and highly recommend.

He said it was the reverse valve which was still under warranty. The part was on back order which took awhile to get and for him to come back to change out. He also told me it was gonna need X lbs amount of refrigerant which it took more. He gave me a price which it was a few hundred dollars more. So him doing what he did, still did not fix the problem. I called back to let them know that the problem wasn't fixed, and they said he would come back to check it out. As weeks went on he told me that he didn't even think that was the right reverse valve. He came back to my house and told me that he would like to change out the compressor and to change the indoor coil which these parts should be still under warranty since the unit is less than 5 years old. I told him to check it out to see if the parts were still under warranty and get back with me. As I waited on a phone call that I never received, I called the office back and talked to the receptionist and said the technician was on vacation and he will be back in touch with me when he returns. I waited on that call for two more weeks still no call so I called the office back and she said he was playing catch up and had a very long list that it would be soon. weeks went by still no call. The initial service call July 5 till now November 2 my unit is still not working and haven't heard back from the technician. I am totally dissatisfied in this company in every way. I would not recommend them at all. I feel like I am getting the runaround. I even commented on their facebook page and the comment was immediately deleted and I was blocked from their page.
