I was skeptical, as we didn't really talk about it...I'll be, the sucker is pushing more air through there. Not perfect, but it REALLY helped a good bit. Cleaning up after a job (after 2 decades of working for GE myself) is a pet peeve of mine. These guys cleaned up their own mess as well as other stuff they weren't responsible for...NO KIDDING. I cant speak for the long term, but can tell you that these are my guys for the foreseeable future. NOTE: I got a lot of quotes. 8 of them were a $1000-$1500 higher than what I ended up paying (3 were weirdly less...Fly-by-night looking guys providing hand written notes as quotes...avoid them. I am no plumber, but these folks are, and they were gracious with their time, and explained it all, and provide options, pros vs cons, best practices, and did not once pressure me to make a decision. Mark, Eddy, and Mike did a superb job. They had no bias, and gave me all the facts and options to make my own decision. At the end of the day, I feel like I can trust them. Real pros. Arrived when they said they would, did what they promise and even more. Fantastic experience. If you want a plumber you can trust.. look no further.

I requested TE to come out and diagnose why an existing circuit was not getting power. Instead of…read morejust fixing the circuit, I agreed to a new panel for my house since it was 60 years old. The price I was quoted was over 12k. I felt the electrician on my job, Jason S. was very high pressure in his tactics and told me I needed to decide that day, or lose potential discounts. I had also been without a kitchen for over 30 days, so I agreed to the work. The next day Jason and an apprentice come out to start the job. They take one whole day to remove and replace the new panel, no problem. Here is where it goes downhill. On the second day of work, Jason and another apprentice came out and instead of prioritizing the circuit I hired him for, they start installing the hardwired smoke detectors Dekalb county allegedly requires. This took all day! By about 4 pm, I asked if he was going to get the outlet done so I could use my dishwasher and he replied "I guess if I stay here all night". I said I guess thats what you got to do then, and they were here til nearly 8 pm. Then he made several other unprofessional comments about staying late. Jason never came back to my job. A new Electrician came out on Monday, Jason said he had an emergency job. The part where they earned this rating comes when I found out my pool motor circuit was not working on the new GFCI circuit. I explained to them it originally was on a two pole circuit and now they had it on two single poles. It was drawing 240v and they had the model number and should have researched the wiring on their own as professionals. Rather than listen to me, I had to wait all day for the new electrician (with Jason on the phone) come up with a new quote to fix which included trenching up and re-wiring my entire pool, ANOTHER 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS! I was livid. I started looking into this and it turns out I was right, it just needed a 2 pole GFCI. I talked to the second electrician the next day and told him I want to talk to a supervisor or manager. I got a call later in the day from Jeffrey who was going to look into it and get back to me the same day. He did not. He did call me the next morning and agreed to send one of his best guys out to install a 2 pole and see if that solves the problem. Well guess what, it did! And, I didn't have to pay another 5K. I expected to hear back from Jeffrey again to ensure the job was to my satisfaction as you should on a service recovery. I did not. I feel lied to, and that I was robbed and almost taken needlessly for thousands more, had I not done my research which should not be necessary as a layperson. I understand from TE employees the Electricians control the cost, and they get a commission from it. Unfortunately, I paid for an electricians summer vacation because I trusted him. Luis L and Nathan the electricians at TE, thank you! Micah, Gavin, Phillip the apprentices, thank you too! Jeffrey I thank you for doing the minimum by ensuring what I paid for was completed. Jason, no thank you at all. You've sowed distrust in professionals and your industry with your practices.

In Feb. 2024 the zone board went out and I contracted Chris to repair it, he did, said it was fixed, I paid him, no problem. 3 months later the a/c didn't work the first time turning the a/c on, I went and checked it out because it was on a Sunday and found the zone board not wired correctly, and it was not wired as a Heat Pump. I called Chris Benson on Monday, and he said that it wasn't a Heat Pump Dual Fuel unit and that it was an a/c with a gas Furnas for heat and that they had replaced the "a/c" with a Heat Pump because they couldn't get a straight a/c unit at the time. I told him that no it was a Heat Pump Duel Fuel unit, he checked with his tech. and his tech. said that it was a Heat Pump Duel Fuel unit and he said he would get out there and fix it, he would have left it like that when they replaced the zone board 3 months ago unless I had caught it. So they fixed it over a few trips out there, but I told him I was getting concerned that they were struggling to get it fixed. I also told him I wanted the old t-stat they replaced because the tech. didn't leave it, some of our discussions about it all got a little heated texting, then Chris boiled over and text me saying: "Dude, so I don't lose my temper. I will call you tomorrow. I'm tired of you. Terrorizing me in the evenings. I'm doing the best I can. No, we don't carry a fan for the attic. It's 130 degrees dealing with a heat problem, Give me a break." I said "Ok Chris, this is the first time I have text you after hours because you started texting me at 5:00 pm. I said call me in the morning when you know more". He didn't call, he texted me early that afternoon asking if they could go over there, I was out of pocket that day and they just went over there. So they finished up and then said one of the zone dampers was bad and that BOTH needed to be replaced as they are BOTH 20 years old and new damper motors would work great with the new zone board. I talked to the tenant that evening to find out what it was doing, they confirmed the a/c was running both up and downstairs with only a call for cooling upstairs. So, I text Chris and said "Ok, give me a price on replacing both of them" and I never heard back from him, he also didn't follow up to even ask if I wanted them to replace them. So like Chris said to me in his heated response, "I'm tired of you" I took that as he is done with me and he is not coming back, so now my next concern is any warranty on his work, regardless I will be using another HVAC company in the future. I fixed the one broke damper myself with $10 part from Aprilaire and the other damper was not 20 years old, was working and in good condition.

I found Reliable online and they had a call out fee of $89, which I know is basically my personal penalty for not knowing anything about plumbing. I set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon, knowing that I would be home. I received a courtesy call from Joe when he was on his way over. Joe was professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me understand the problem. He was in and out of my home in less than 15 minutes, and I kind of learned how to address these types of issues in the future so I am very grateful. Thank you to Joe for making my problems go away quickly. Now I can address them since I was able to learn why my drain was bad, and not keep tossing drain cleaner down and wasting money. I'm noting Reliable for any needs moving forward!

I called Reliable Air on Sunday, June 28, because my upstairs AC was not cooling. Before scheduling…read moreanything, I specifically told them I have an Aquatherm unit and asked whether they still work on those systems. I was told that they do, so I scheduled an appointment for Monday, June 29, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Because I had that confirmed appointment, I did not move forward with another company I had contacted over the weekend. I waited during the service window, and about two hours into it the technician called while I was briefly outside with my dog. I missed the call by only a few minutes. When I listened to the voicemail and called right back, the technician said they do not work on Aquatherm units and would not be coming out. What I do not understand is why it took about a day and a half, including two hours into the scheduled appointment window, for the company to figure out they do not service the type of unit I clearly identified before the appointment was ever scheduled. The frustrating part is that the problem appeared to be with the outdoor condenser fan, most likely the fan motor or capacitor. That is a standard condenser issue and would not have required any special knowledge of the Aquatherm indoor unit itself. As a courtesy for the mistake, the technician could have at least stopped by, looked at the condenser, and possibly corrected the issue. Even if they had only honored the appointment, inspected the problem, and could not complete the repair, I would have paid the service fee simply because they kept the appointment they had confirmed. I called the technician back several times and received no answer or callback. I then called the main office twice. Both representatives took my information, said it would be sent as an emergency request, and told me someone would call me back immediately. Nobody ever called. I also explained that I have a disability and that having a confirmed appointment suddenly canceled in the middle of the service window, especially during an AC problem, was extremely disruptive. There was no meaningful follow-up, no attempt to help find a solution, and no return call after repeated assurances that someone would contact me. The issue is not simply that they do not service Aquatherm units. The issue is that I specifically asked before scheduling, was told they did, waited for the appointment, and then was left without service or even a callback after they canceled. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.

No repair options were offered. Wanting a second opinion, we called another company. They diagnosed the issue as a blown fuse, replaced it, and our system was back up and running. What concerns me most is that we are a family with a young child, and at no point was there any attempt to troubleshoot or make a simple repair before recommending an extremely expensive replacement. It felt more like a sales call than a service call. I understand that HVAC systems sometimes do need to be replaced, but homeowners deserve an honest diagnosis and reasonable repair options before being presented with a $29,000 proposal. It's difficult not to question the integrity of a recommendation when a blown fuse is mistaken for a $29,000 replacement. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone facing a major recommendation from this company to seek a second opinion before making such a significant financial decision.

I made an appointment on a Friday through my warranty company and the service vendor they assigned couldn't come until the following Tuesday. August in Georgia is no joke. The vendor ended up not fixing anything on Tuesday, but added 2lbs of freon and left. No inspection, didn't check the furnace, didn't come in to check the vents, nothing. So on Wednesday, once the A/C went out again I followed up and made an another appointment, this time we were set for for Friday. The second tech the vendor sent tested the freon and saw that it was empty even though they had just added 2lbs 3 days ago. So the second tech did some test and started packing up. I asked what time he'd come back so that I could be home and he indicated the test takes 48-72 hours to determine where the leak is. I'm not a HVAC professional, but that sounded odd. Once the second tech left without attempting to fix anything, I started calling around and found R Tilery's website. I called to see if I could make an appointment and Ray himself picked up and said he could come later that afternoon. Wow, same day service, what a novel idea. You'd think if I told the vendor my warranty company used that other company's can make same day appointments it would make their heads explode. Ray showed up a few hours later, took the A/C unit apart quickly and inspected the inside and found oil in the bottom of the unit indicating a leak. He tested some gas in the line and we could hear the gas leaking from the unit. So it took Ray all of 15 minutes to do what two different techs could not do in two separate visits. Ray was great, I should have called him first. Don't be like me, call ray first. We will be calling him again if we are ever in need. Thanks Ray!
