Told him about the kitchen being hot when I cooked (I love to cook and do it daily), Jason just said Hmmm. When they came to install it, the went up into the attic with some ducting pieces. I was skeptical, as we didn't really talk about it...I'll be, the sucker is pushing more air through there. Not perfect, but it REALLY helped a good bit. Cleaning up after a job (after 2 decades of working for GE myself) is a pet peeve of mine. These guys cleaned up their own mess as well as other stuff they weren't responsible for...NO KIDDING. I cant speak for the long term, but can tell you that these are my guys for the foreseeable future. NOTE: I got a lot of quotes. 8 of them were a $1000-$1500 higher than what I ended up paying (3 were weirdly less...Fly-by-night looking guys providing hand written notes as quotes...avoid them. Likely stolen units off construction sites) ONE LAST THING: Don't listen to that fool who hasn't actually done any business with ACS but gave them a one star for a traffic incident. What a pile. In Feb. 2024 the zone board went out and I contracted Chris to repair it, he did, said it was fixed, I paid him, no problem. 3 months later the a/c didn't work the first time turning the a/c on, I went and checked it out because it was on a Sunday and found the zone board not wired correctly, and it was not wired as a Heat Pump. I called Chris Benson on Monday, and he said that it wasn't a Heat Pump Dual Fuel unit and that it was an a/c with a gas Furnas for heat and that they had replaced the "a/c" with a Heat Pump because they couldn't get a straight a/c unit at the time. I told him that no it was a Heat Pump Duel Fuel unit, he checked with his tech. and his tech. said that it was a Heat Pump Duel Fuel unit and he said he would get out there and fix it, he would have left it like that when they replaced the zone board 3 months ago unless I had caught it. So they fixed it over a few trips out there, but I told him I was getting concerned that they were struggling to get it fixed. I also told him I wanted the old t-stat they replaced because the tech. didn't leave it, some of our discussions about it all got a little heated texting, then Chris boiled over and text me saying: "Dude, so I don't lose my temper. I will call you tomorrow. I'm tired of you. Terrorizing me in the evenings. I'm doing the best I can. No, we don't carry a fan for the attic. It's 130 degrees dealing with a heat problem, Give me a break." I said "Ok Chris, this is the first time I have text you after hours because you started texting me at 5:00 pm. I said call me in the morning when you know more". He didn't call, he texted me early that afternoon asking if they could go over there, I was out of pocket that day and they just went over there. So they finished up and then said one of the zone dampers was bad and that BOTH needed to be replaced as they are BOTH 20 years old and new damper motors would work great with the new zone board. I talked to the tenant that evening to find out what it was doing, they confirmed the a/c was running both up and downstairs with only a call for cooling upstairs. So, I text Chris and said "Ok, give me a price on replacing both of them" and I never heard back from him, he also didn't follow up to even ask if I wanted them to replace them. So like Chris said to me in his heated response, "I'm tired of you" I took that as he is done with me and he is not coming back, so now my next concern is any warranty on his work, regardless I will be using another HVAC company in the future. I fixed the one broke damper myself with $10 part from Aprilaire and the other damper was not 20 years old, was working and in good condition.

I found Reliable online and they had a call out fee of $89, which I know is basically my personal penalty for not knowing anything about plumbing. I set up an appointment for Saturday afternoon, knowing that I would be home. I received a courtesy call from Joe when he was on his way over. Joe was professional, friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me understand the problem. He was in and out of my home in less than 15 minutes, and I kind of learned how to address these types of issues in the future so I am very grateful. Thank you to Joe for making my problems go away quickly. Now I can address them since I was able to learn why my drain was bad, and not keep tossing drain cleaner down and wasting money. I'm noting Reliable for any needs moving forward!

Unfortunately I found their service to be very poor. Several times their technicians installed the wrong size filters in my units, left the filter access doors open, and frequently they had to come out several times to fix a problem. I have tried to cancel my service contracts several times and they keep charging me. You have to call them several time to get the monthly charges stopped.

My family (parents and now me) have been using them for at least 15 years. They replaced the unit in a house my parents were selling. Replaced the unit in their (not so) new house after a few years. Continue to service the later unit. My personal experience with Gee has also found them trustworthy. They keep nursing along the unit in a rental properly that has a slow leak in it. Never try to upsale me, they show up when they say they will, are usually available for service that day if tenant calls and says unit isn't working right. This is a relief to me being too far away to handle things myself.

Horrible business model now by current management !! System went down and not cooling after having checkup with purchased maintenance agreement 3 Months prior , nothing said by technician. Called them to come out and they had nothing open for 4 days ?? Even after being a customer with a maintenance agreement over 30 years ! Had to get someone out because a baby was in the house . Another company found the problem of a faulty part which was under warranty, also found that the filter was not the right size and this impeded air flow causing the system to freeze up and pop leaks. They fixed the problem . I furnished Gee with pictures, videos and written explanations but they WOULD NOT honor the warranty . They stated, "How could they trust what had been done?" They offered to send their technician out to inspect the problem. well when it's fixed there isn't a problem. I did not expect a full refund that included labor but did request one that included bad parts. I was told that this is not how to run a business and they could not do that. After being a business owner for 35 years I do know that you need to ALWAYS do the right thing. It's not always economical but you have to keep your integrity. Well this is their business model .... System breaks down (after the installed new 3 years prior), have to go for days with out it working, you are forced to use other, then they won't reimburse even though you have a 10 year warranty and documentation because another company had to do the work. They have done this with so many other customers ! It makes me SO SAD that they are using the Gee name when Joe and Tim would have never done this !! They had integrity and these crooks have NONE!! It's giving them a bad name . D. Little

I made an appointment on a Friday through my warranty company and the service vendor they assigned couldn't come until the following Tuesday. August in Georgia is no joke. The vendor ended up not fixing anything on Tuesday, but added 2lbs of freon and left. No inspection, didn't check the furnace, didn't come in to check the vents, nothing. So on Wednesday, once the A/C went out again I followed up and made an another appointment, this time we were set for for Friday. The second tech the vendor sent tested the freon and saw that it was empty even though they had just added 2lbs 3 days ago. So the second tech did some test and started packing up. I asked what time he'd come back so that I could be home and he indicated the test takes 48-72 hours to determine where the leak is. I'm not a HVAC professional, but that sounded odd. Once the second tech left without attempting to fix anything, I started calling around and found R Tilery's website. I called to see if I could make an appointment and Ray himself picked up and said he could come later that afternoon. Wow, same day service, what a novel idea. You'd think if I told the vendor my warranty company used that other company's can make same day appointments it would make their heads explode. Ray showed up a few hours later, took the A/C unit apart quickly and inspected the inside and found oil in the bottom of the unit indicating a leak. He tested some gas in the line and we could hear the gas leaking from the unit. So it took Ray all of 15 minutes to do what two different techs could not do in two separate visits. Ray was great, I should have called him first. Don't be like me, call ray first. We will be calling him again if we are ever in need. Thanks Ray!
