Great selection of organic materials for the commercial, landscapers or DIYers. Depending on your…read moreproject you can shop at the big box stores which provide for your average needs, but if you are doing any kind of private landscaping, gardening or want the exacting standards of quality materials with low environmental impact then local businesses like Nature's Way Resources is the way to go. For this project, I aerated and dethatched part of my front yard and it was in need of a good base layer for the soil to recover; in addition to, landscaping a front patio area. I ordered 1 1/2 Cubic Yard Leaf Mold Compost, 1/2 Yard of Landscaper mix, a few Black-eyed Susan, a Mexican Sage bush and some other pollinators. Due to the time saved from gathering all my materials from this one location saved me $$$ and I was able to complete the project in a weekend. If your need is not as expansive they offer bagged soil for smaller needs, but to get the best value I would partner with a fellow DIYers with pickup trucks and order loose materials or have it delivered on site. Nature's Way Resources also have a big selection of mulch, compost, fertilizers and offer a Green Waste Recycling program. If you read this post to the end, I will let you in on a little secret.....they have a rock garden in the rear where contractors and DIYers dump material not needed and you will find some gems for FREE. All you need to do is sign a liability waiver at the front desk and recommend you have some sturdy steel toe boots, gloves, and watch out for critters.

This is one of the best, if not the best, native nurseries in greater Houston in my opinion…read more Knowledgeable staff and high-quality offerings for your yard. With extreme weather events more and common, it's a great idea to introduce some native plantings to your yard.

Trash truck RL16 just about ran me over in the Chevron parking lot. I was on the edge of the…read moreparking lot and jumped the curb because of the way the driver was driving in that parking lot. He looked as if he was going to hit me by his speed and angle he was driving. He was coming straight at me then sharply curved away from me. Hopefully he isn't the owner of this company. I tried calling this company to report this and it went to a mail box that was full.

Farmers was certainly agreeable enough and friendly enough to sign me up and take my money…read more Assured me that my trash would be picked up on Tuesday, that I only had to have it on the street by six am. Fair enough. I complied. After stopping and picking up the trash of the neighbor next to me and across the street from me, they drove away and left mine untouched. I called to report this and was assured that the driver would return to pick up. They did not but rather sent a picture of the empty trash can of my neighbor ACROSS THE STREET, along with the numbers on HIS mailbox which are clearly NOT mine. I returned a photo of both mailboxes with numbers and my trash still sitting at the end of my drive. I will confess here that in my frustration, I swore. But, I also appologized. They have now had three opportunities to get this right TODAY, and have failed. I got a text referring to some type of confusion. There is no confusion, as the numbers on the mail boxes are clearly marked and they had the reference of TWO boxes, the one of my immediate neighbor and the one across the street. Incompetence, not confusion, and a refusal to solve a problem created NOT by me, but by them. SO.......will you make this right?? I am a government certified professional, licensed by the State of Texas for 40 years. Never, have I let one of my customers go unsatisfied. My integrity is worth more than that. I was told in a final conversation that pickup would be done by 9PM this evening, and that time has come and gone. Judging by their behavior, it is much easier for these people to lie than to perform. Particularly a paid service for which they have already recieved just pensation. Stealing my money and not providing the service is one thing, but then to compound that by lying about coming back to finish the job is quite another matter. If this were my company, I would get in my truck and go pick up the trash myself, but like I said, I have 40 years of customer service and know how it works. I didn't steal from or make false claims to my customers. This is my opinion of my experience disposal requested, not any value.
