I bought a dress on the Internet and it turned out to be way too big for me. Since I wasn't able to return it and get it in my size, I was looking for some to alter it. Leanne was absolutely amazing! I called, had a fitting on the same day, and picked up the dress just a few weeks later. You can't even tell it was altered and it fits great now. Leanne was very professional, absolutely more then reasonable prized and was over all just outstanding! If I ever need anything else altered I will give her a call for sure. read more

Alterations By Leanne - Ready for the wedding! - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Olympia, Washington

I had two prom dresses done here and both were perfect! Miss Leanne clearly knows what she is doing. Her prices are AWESOME! Two dresses were altered, (once again, perfectly), for 90.00. Um, yes please! One of my dresses even had 3 or 4 layers to it, which raised the price considerably at other alteration businesses. Making an appointment was quick and easy. I was in and out in a breeze and the dresses were done promptly. I highly recommend Alterations By Leanne. read more

My favorite jacket zipper broke. Leanne was knowledgeable, fairly priced, and responsive! I'm so grateful for her help!!

Very kind lady, I ripped a hole in my down jacket and she sewed it back together and it looks great, and very well priced!

Leanne is so sweet! She works out of her home and is very good at what she does. Wouldn't trust my dresses with anyone else after working with her. Her husband also does very neat woodworking that they sell out of the home. read more

Alterations By Leanne - Added a corset and hemmed - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Olympia, Washington

Brought over a bunch of pants for Leanne to hem up and she did a great job with each one. Had holes in pockets of some old jeans and she fixed them as well. I will definitely go back and see her when I buy new jeans. Expect honest and friendly service with a smile. Thank you Leanne! read more

I first met Leanne when I was a Capital Lakefair Princess. The entire Lakefair court was recommended to her to get our gowns altered, and all 6 of us had great experiences. Since then, I have come to her about countless pairs of jeans, homecoming and prom dresses, and one long bridesmaid dress. All have been done in a timely manner and for a very reasonable price. My entire family now comes to her, and has been for 5 years now! I wouldn't go to anyone else for my alterations. Leanne is kind, professional, and extremely talented. Alterations can be tedious work, so as long as you allow her adequate time to do them, she will. And often even finishes them early! She is very organized and works so hard. I 100% recommend Alterations by Leanne! I don't know what I would do without her. *Cross-posted to Facebook* read more

I was extremely impressed with the alterations done by Leanne. I had bought a dress online that needed to have the lace sleeves taken in. The initial appointment was scheduled quickly after my first call. My dress was ready one week after the appointment. The alterations where exactly what I asked for. The price seemed reasonable, the turnaround time was very impressive, Leanne was professional yet friendly. I highly recommend this business read more

Leanne was pleasant, quick and did a great job! She's been doing this for many years and it shows! Consultation to get my hem brought up and my shoulder straps shortened on my bridesmaid's dress took only 15 mins. The pick up and result also went really smoothly. Very happy to find a good seamstress! Total cost $76. Note you pay upon pickup (cash or check only). Would definitely recommend! read more

Leanne is a godsend! I highly recommend her for her skill, personality and cost. I had my mermaid-style wedding dress altered elsewhere initially, and they refused to touch the bodice, which would have left me looking like I had a potato-sack on. Leanne didn't even flinch when I asked her to fix it...and needed it in 4 days. She fixed the other shops poor stitching, took in the side seams from bust to knees and had it done in less than 24 hours and for less than half the cost of what the other shop charged! Leanne was extremely pleasant to work with and made altering a mermaid-style taffeta bridal gown seem like a piece of cake. It fit like a glove after the first alteration and I loved every moment of my special day thanks to her! read more

I've been going to Leanne for alterations for three years now. I take all of my pants for hemming before I wear them, and she's fixed the sleeves on suit jackets as well. Last fall, I went to an event that required a formal gown. I found a designer satin dress at Goodwill and took it to Leanne - the alterations took the dress from ok to perfect. If you want your clothes to fit the way they should, Leanne will make it happen. Sometimes she's REALLY busy, and she runs a one-woman show, so it pays to be proactive and contact her before you need your work done. read more

I had not realized that Leanne's services were by appointment when I arrived to the location, but she was able to alter my suit anyway! Such a kind, inviting person. She made sure that everything fit the way I wanted it to, and even ironed out my jacket and pants so that they would not be wrinkled. Overall it took a little under twenty minutes. This was my first experience needing to alter clothing, and I am so relieved that I went to Leanne to do so. As she let out my pants we had a wonderful conversation, and it made my day. Thank you for an amazing experience! Bless you read more

I found Leanne's Alterations after doing a search for someone with good reviews that I could trust to hem some pants for me. So I called and made an appointment, and 3 days later. The 5 peices I brought her we're ready to be picked up. (4 pants & 1 shorts I wanted shortened) She did a phenomenal job, now I can enjoy these dope Wtaps pants I found, these vintage tommy jeans and she was even able to keep the original hem seems on a pair. She was more then qualified to say the least. Definitely recommend her to ANYONE who needs alterations done. read more

Leanne is a super hero! My husband had broken the zipper of my brand new gown 2 days out from a ball we were attending. I had spent 2 months trying to find the perfect dress so I was in panic mode! I had sent her a message over yelp and early next morning she had called and even though she was busy, had changed out the zipper. I was even willing to drive around to every supply store to find a replacement zipper the right length and colour but she had it all covered. She had my dress ready by the end of the day! Leannas work is quality and care at its finest. Thank you for saving me!!! read more

Alterations By Leanne - My wedding dress, she fixed the bustle, and chest and with a pettie coat it fits just right! - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Olympia, Washington

Found LeeAnne on Apple Maps/Yelp! Called her on a Friday and left a message about a zipper pully that came off a brand new motorcycle jacket. She returned my call promptly and invited me to swing on by so she could take a look. She was blue to repair the pully easily. Definitely a competent seamstress. She saved me the hassle of return shipping and having to wait a month for a replacement garment. read more

Leanne was amazing to work with! As a bride with a complicated situation (pregnant, dress arriving 4 weeks prior to wedding, complicated ball gown), Leanne was a blessing to find. I contacted her when I found out that my dress arrival date would be a full month later than quoted and explained my situation to her. She asked for the style of the dress and photos before agreeing to work on the dress. Communication with her was easy- she remained calm and explained what would happen. She told me to call her when the dress arrived and she would take it from there. Well the dress arrived, we met, and she made magic happen. We had a total of 3 fittings that took me from frumpy fluff ball to beautiful ballgown. The fittings were quick and professional- she allowed me privacy and time to get myself situated before coming in to check fit, she explained what she was planning to do, and she explained how to get the dress to best flatter my pregnant figure. In my opinion, she pulled off a miracle in under 3 weeks- I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Notes: she is cash-only, so hit up the ATM ahead of time. Her prices are super reasonable. Make sure to wear the shoes, bra, and any shapewear that you intend to use on the day of your event- all of those things will change how your outfit looks so Leanne needs to fit your outfit to that shape. She has other projects for sale! I picked up 3 baby bibs but also had my eye on the bird and bat houses on the porch. Bring an extra $10-20 with you just in case something catches your eye. read more

Leanne is awesome! I absolutely needed a bridesmaid dress hemmed for a wedding by a certain time. She definitely had it done an entire day early. I appreciate that so much because I was completely worried about it. Also, this was during a really busy time for her. I know that she worked tirelessy to get my dress done and I am so glad. The day of the wedding, everything looked perfect on my dress. She even gave me some tips for the dress to fit better the day I was wearing (avoid salty clothes, etc) i will definitely go back when I need more work done on any of my clothes. There was an additional $20 speedy fee, but I did it to myself, I should have brought the dress in sooner! OH and i was running late for my appointment and she accommodated me. read more

Leanne is fantastic! Such a pleasure to work with, and is very under-priced in my opinion. She has incredible skill. She is altering my wedding dress which is very intricately beaded. She also made the veil I'm going to wear. I can't imagine a better person to take your clothing to for alterations. She is truly a wonderful woman and I'm so glad I found her! Leanne, you're the best! THANK YOU! read more

Very disappointed in the customer service provided, although she may be an excellent seamstress. I would not know, because she refused to do the work even though she had scheduled it. My daughter made an appointment for alterations to her wedding dress months in advance. When we arrived for a fitting, Leanne took one glance at the dress and declared it "unalterable." After some discussion, it became clear that the dress COULD be altered -- but she didn't want to do it because it would be time consuming and a lot of work. No apology, no suggestions for what we could do. She said we should have told her the dress would be hard to alter -- but how would WE know? My daughter left in tears with less than a month before her wedding. Fortunately, we were able to find someone else who had no problem doing it. read more

Leanne altered my daughter's wedding dress several years ago and it came out amazingly well. It had pickups and a bubble hem; she added the bustle and slightly altered the bodice. It was a complicated alteration that came out flawless! I was so happy to see she was still in business and had her hem some jeans for me. She matched the original stitching so well which was important to me. Very quick response time, friendly, knowledgeable and I think irreplaceable! Thanks Leanne! read more

Very limited service. Went for a simple stitch on my garment and she was unable to provide service.

LeAnne has done alterations on both our daughters wedding dresses, a performance costume for me, and now our soon-to-be daughter-in-loves wedding dress. She ALWAYS goes far above and beyond in everything she does. And her "customer service" makes you feel like you're the favorite customer she's ever had! I will always and only ever take any of my alteration needs to LeAnne. Why would I go anywhere else when I've already found the very best?! read more

What a great experience!!!! I found Leanne by the great reviews here on yelp, and I'm so happy I did. My dress turned out beautiful and the service was top notch. Such a sweet lady. After David's Bridal told me they couldn't hem a bridesmaids dress I had bought from them to use in a wedding 6 months prior, I took it to Leanne because I needed it for another wedding (same color, similar style, just a shorter length) that was happening the very next month. She got it done, it looks FANTASTIC (it's chiffon), and it only cost $32! She also let me pick it up on a day she's normally closed. I will definitely be bringing her more business, should I need it :) Thanks, Leanne! read more

5 stars hand down! Best experience I have ever had doing alterations to my clothes. Not only was Leanne a pleasure to meet, she guarantees her work and will not be satisfied until you're satisfied with your garments. To top it off her prices are very reasonable. I will continue to return as long as I live in Washington. Men, dont hesitate to give her a call. She works on mens clothes as well. No longer will you need to pay those high prices at other places to fit your suits. I paid less then half for two suits with Leanne, then what I paid for one suit at other places. read more

Leanne altered 3 dresses for me this summer: my wedding gown and 2 bridesmaid dresses. She is fast, professional, and reasonably priced! She also is a good problem solver and she saved my wedding dress (which was too small and did not have as much room to let out as the sales people swore it did). I will (and have) recommend her to anyone that needs something altered! read more
