I paid the rush fee, plus an additional $20, because I knew completing the work within two weeks was a significant request. When I returned to pick up the dress, it was in far worse condition than when I dropped it off. The hem was completely uneven, with the back noticeably shorter than the front, making the dress unwearable for my event. I calmly brought my concerns to the owner, hoping we could find a solution. Instead, I was met with yelling, a refusal to issue any refund, and an overall lack of professionalism. Even other customers in the store commented that the dress looked uneven and poorly altered. The owner ultimately told me never to come back, stating that too much labor had gone into the dress to offer a refund. Paying over $200 for alterations only to receive a dress in worse condition than when I brought it in was incredibly disappointing. Thankfully, I took the dress to Erol's in Cherry Creek, where they were able to correct the alterations. They even offered me a discounted rate after seeing what they described as the poor quality of the previous work. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe others should be aware of my experience. If you're having something important altered--especially for a special occasion--I would strongly encourage you to consider another tailor.

Instead of a wrist strap, she suggested creating a floral hoop to carry my train before bustling for photos. This was a unique suggestion and something I have not seen before. It worked out amazingly well and everyone kept asking about it. It helped keep my dress clean and wrinkle-free before I bustled it. Kirsten assisted by hemming the dress, adding cups and smoothing them out, and adding a 9-point bustle. Her pricing was reasonable for high-quality work. She went above and beyond by steaming my dress and veil prior to pick up. She also helped me determine how much to shorten my veil so it wouldn't interfere with the bustle. Finally, she suggested recording how to bustle the dress which made the process go smoothly on my wedding day. The best part was the bustle held, even after hiking up a mountainside for photos and after hours of dancing. I felt beautiful in my dress on my wedding day, and that is thanks to Kirsten. She made the experience amazing and I would highly recommend her to other brides. She will not disappoint!!

Grace and her team can pretty much do anything you need done. Turn around time is usually about two weeks, but they can work with your timeframe if needed. Tailoring is expensive.
