Absolutely amazing! I went to Moira based off a recommendation from Casa Bianca Bridal and I am so glad I did. My dress required complex alterations. Absolutely stunning work. Moira worked with me to make my wedding dress vision come true. The dress was originally closer to a trumpet than a mermaid. It had a unique, higher neckline and lots of layers of tulle in the back. Moira successfully adjusted the neckline to a sweetheart, having to sew the beading back in by hand. Result was impeccable. Looked as if no work had been done to it at all. She took in the hips to create a curvier silhouette. She also removed some layers of tulle in the back to give a more sheer coverage. Her pricing is AMAZING. Other tailors quoted me at hundreds of dollars more for fewer alterations. I kept adding more and more changes as Moira and I worked together and the overall cost of her work still came out less than other quotes. 100/10 would recommend Moira. Her work is impeccable and beautiful. She is a dream to collaborate with. She gives her honest opinion on what will work and what will look best. There were some things I wanted to do with the dress that she gently advised against. Very happy I listened to her recommendations. She knows her stuff when it comes to gowns. Moira is your tailor! This is a place is a hidden gem. I have had nice shirts in my closet for over a year that I have not worn due to the sleeves being too long. I took the shirts to Moira and she altered them to perfection! It was like I had 4 new shirts! I loved the job that she did on the first 4 shirts so I took 5 more shirts to her to have her alter. She is very professional and she was able to alter the shirts in 1 week! I will always go to Moira for all of my tailoring needs. There is great parking in front of her business which is nice. Moira is a very pleasant to work with and I would recommend her to everyone. She is very talented and very passionate about her profession and I love that about her. Moira is a lifesaver!!! I made a mistake and had to have a last-minute alteration done on my wedding dress. She was the only local tailor to respond to my email, and she responded the day of. When I called, she answered and scheduled me for that same day. She then worked hard to get my dress tailored just in time for my wedding. Having been to two other alteration locations for large projects, I can say without any doubt that Moira is very talented. At the other locations, I had to either wait a week or two, beyond the estimate date of completion, for the suit to come back; or would have to request multiple adjustments because the taper wasn't right. It is rare to find someone who gets it right the first time parallel to completing the job in a timely manner. I would like to think she got lucky on the first suit but I doubt it because the job was an alteration of an entire oversized suit, top to bottom. She truly is gifted with her passion and it shows. In addition, you can expect professional and thorough care in a relaxing clean environment - she makes it a point to fully understand what you want before proceeding. Despite her vast experience, she does not rush you or assume what you want, which seemingly affects everyone who gets good at what they do. Her fee schedule is very affordable and honestly, she should charge more for her beautiful work. Highly recommend her. Go and check out her new atelier, you won't regret it. read more
