This was my first time in Giordas shop and I left feeling disappointed and with a bad taste in my mouth. When I first entered, giorda was friendly and personable. I found a dress that I wanted to try on and according to the tag it looked to me like it was $30.00. There was something scribbled out before that so I assumed it was a markdown. She kindly put it into the dressing room for me while I continued to look around. I picked up another dress before putting it back due to its high price ($128.00) which to me wasn't worth it for the look of the dress. She said I should try it on still and I replied no thank you, it's a bit out of my price range so I think I'll stick with the one in the dressing room which was $30. I said this aloud and she didn't correct me. After trying it on, it was too long and she said she'd hem it for another $20.00. I decided what the heck why not? After filling out my information so I could come pick up the dress and inserting my card I was completely surprised to see $168.00 on the screen. I said whoa, whoa I thought this dress was $30?? To which she responded "oh nooooo, nooooo honey. NOTHING in this store is $30, maybe a candle but honey nooooooo." I felt like she could have handled that differently, very condescending. When I decided to cancel the purchase, her response was "well that was fun, have a nice day" as she gestured towards the door. She went from nice in the beginning to rude and condescending once she realized I wasn't going to buy it. Will not be going back and really hope she changes her attitude. read more
