An interesting concept, half home goods and half cafe. The place is definitely a place to get some great Instagram shots in while enjoying a coffee. The owner has great taste and while we came for the coffee, I almost left with a new living room. We tried the Salted Pistachio Latte and the flavor really comes through. The tables also had items on it both for decor and for sale which was fun.

Probably one of my favorite cups of coffee I've had in Chicago. I ordered a Hazelnut oat latte with cinnamon and it was the most comforting drink I think I had in Chicago. The coffee shop I went to the day prior butchered this same drink so this made up big time. It's a cute spot that just a 10 minute walk from Publican Quality Bread. If I were you I would put two and Two together because the combo is spectacular.

This was a nice coffee shop concept. The drinks were pretty good, but the atmosphere was great. It's a homeward store meets coffee shop and it was very cute and clean. Check it out if you are in the area!

A coffee show nestled inside a home goods store gives makes you wonder, will this coffee be any good or am I kidding myself? It is quite solid. I ordered a cold brew, as I am known to do, black, no sugar. It was strong, fresh, despite being close to closing time, it was perfect. It had a subtle dark chocolate forward taste. They still had a few croissants around 3pm but we opted for a protein bar. Overall a nice place As far as home goods, it was a very HGTV vibe (IYKYK). Smelt of a coffee candle, and looked like small children shan't sit. Staff were polite, didn't judge me when I couldn't figure out whether the door pushed or pulled to enter. Great ambiance for adults.

Beautiful and bright space. Coffee quality was surprisingly high - nicely done latte at a perfect warm temperature and refreshing tonic impressed us. I took off one star only because I reviewed it from a coffee shop instead of a furniture / home decor shop standpoint. Worth checking it out if you are in the area or like visiting home decor shop.

Altar Home is such a hidden gem--part thoughtfully curated boutique, part charming café, and it's the perfect place to spend a slow afternoon. Located in a great neighborhood, the space feels warm, stylish, and full of little treasures waiting to be discovered. What I Loved: Chocolates, Perfumes, Oils, and Home Decor - Every corner of the shop feels intentional. You can find luxury chocolates, beautiful candles, artisanal perfumes, and gorgeous home pieces--it's so fun to browse, and honestly, hard to leave empty-handed! Strawberry Pistachio Matcha (Spring Special) - Absolutely delicious! Not too sweet, beautifully balanced, and such a refreshing twist on a classic matcha. It felt light, floral, and perfectly spring-like. Cafe Selection - A really thoughtful drink menu, with unique seasonal specials and well-crafted coffees and teas. The Vibe: Chic, cozy, and relaxed--perfect for catching up with a friend, grabbing a unique gift, or treating yourself. Staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. So much to see and explore, from handmade goods to delicious treats. If you're looking for a beautiful place to sip, shop, and unwind, Altar Home is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back, browse even more, and order another seasonal matcha!

Such a gorgeous interior and fun concept. Half coffee shop and half home goods store. Everything looks so curated, calm, and inviting. Makes me want to redecorate my entire home. There are a few small tables to sit and drink/eat. I ordered the pistachio latte and almond croissant. Both were very yummy. Definitely a coffee shop I'd return to.

Altar home is so cute! They have a few small tables to meet with friend to have coffee. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and almond croissant. The vanilla latte was just ok but the almond croissant was the best almond croissant Ive had in Chicago. I will 100% be going back just for the croissant!

Great coffee and nice place to hang and shop in the west town neighborhood. Small coffee bar and menu, but friendly and a must experience.

It was definitely worth testing them out because some of the couches are very low. We ended up liking the Hopson and Wilder and the Amelia chair. Staff member John was friendly and helpful. Lots of colorful fabrics to choose from, some designated as "pet friendly."

I have officially had my Joybird couch for 1 year. It has been lived in and loved (for the most…read morepart). Things I love about my couch: - comfortable & spacious - beautiful color - very pet friendly (hides hair, easy to clean cat puke - iykyk) - easy to use pull out sleeper Things I don't love about my couch: - the cushions move WAY too much, specifically the chaise lounge cushion. The cushion sliding out has caused it to warp/bend (see photo). I have been adjusting the cushion DAILY to try to resolve the problem, but it persists.... - the two sections of the couch (the base with pull out couch & the chaise lounge) come apart DAILY and even when securely reattached, they do not stay together. Unsure if we just got a dud or if all of the couches do this. ^ these two problems drive me crazy. Because as comfortable and beautiful as my couch is, these two issues really make the couch look less put together. And for the price you pay, this shouldn't be the case.
