We ordered the Philly and Pastrami to split and share. We dined in which was among a few small tables situated between the shelves of well-lit and visually clean bottles of liquor. Service was friendly but nothing memorable. After about 10 minutes, both sandwiches were brought to our table. They were hot and came on toasted rolls. Not really sure what bread specifically but seemed a bit like French rolls. Crunch crusts with soft middles which helped to cradle the fillings and absorb the delicious meat juices. The pastrami was great and not overly salty. It had a great zing from the crunchy pickles and mustard. The Philly was nice and gooey. The beef had great texture and was dripping with flavor (literally). Both were very good but I personally liked the pastrami better. If you like meat though, neither will disappoint. We will be back to try the other sandwiches. The only down side to our visit was buying sodas at the store. Their prices weren't listed and in my head, I expected them to be $3 or so. The Mexican Coke and small bottle of lemonade were each $6. $20 for a sandwich isn't cheap, but it price didn't make me gag--but I almost physically gagged when i saw soda prices ring up. Next time, we'll get our sandwiches to go and get drinks elsewhere.

I ordered and shipped two difficult to find bottles of Mezcal at a competitive price. These were gifts and I needed delivery before my flight. GL promptly shipped with confirmations and tracking via UPS. Sadly, I found out that the order was lost the day before I depart. Stressed, I called GL, told them the situation and they took care of everything from there. A few things to support their great customer service. They always have a human answering the phone. George helped me. He was apologetic, even though it was on UPS. He found my order info quickly and connected me with Andre. Andre knew my urgency and returned my call quickly with solutions. He offered to replace the order at cost! (A friend picked it up). After UPS confirmed their mistake, Andre refunded me my original order and submitted the UPS claim on my behalf. You let me know if this is not above and beyond.

The people here are super friendly and helpful. I ordered the real deal brisket pastrami sandwich. Such a delicious sandwich and the size is pretty large. I think it could have lasted me two different meals. Especially if I got a side or two with it. Definitely would love to come back to try some of the other sandwiches. The prices is here are pretty reasonable especially with lots of expensive sandwich shops out there these days.

See my photo below of the menu with a description of the three wines. We liked all of them. NOTE: You can no longer bring your own food as I wrote about six years ago, but they offer a few things listed under "Bar Snacks". We ordered the cheese, crackers and olives for $18. After our tasting we shared an Italian wine recommended by Jeff who is the owner. We all really liked that. It was a Sandro Fay "Valgella" Valtellina Superiore 2021. I'd definitely buy that again. We arrived at 5:00 p.m. and were ready to head home at 8:00 p.m. which is their closing time. The wines we tasted will be available tonight or January 24, 2026 as well.

When I wanted to learn how to make an Espresso Martini and Pina Colada, I knew where to get the alcohol. My alcohol knowledge is limited and when I google best alcohols, 80% of the time, this place has it in stock. I can discover a new drink while purchasing old favorites. The staff are always friendly and welcoming! They remember their regulars. They go out of their way to search for brands and/or suggest new items that have come in. This is place a great and I highly recommend paying a visit!
