Return to Mission Wine & Spirits - North Glendale…read more Still an incredible layout, selection and one of my favorite Cigar Rooms/Humidors in the Greater LA area. Love the deals on their weekly specials including Irish Whiskey, Vodka, Wine, Craft Beer (as well as Domestic & Imported) and more! Open seven days a week from 9AM til 8PM Monday through Saturday and from 11AM to 4PM on Sundays. Issa is the manager here and a hell of guy! All the staff are personable as well as helpful. There's a nice lot as well as plenty of street parking. Somewhat have always preferred Mission Wine & Spirits to BevMo aka Beverages & More, Total Wine & More, or similar chains. Mission still feels like the neighborhood choice, with incredible prices, deals and service to match. Becoming somewhat of a cigar aficionado in the past year plus, with some guidance from my significant other. We stopped in together today and did some browsing as well as shopping. Him for Vodka to have at his place and me to have whiskey at mine. I spend a lot of time in Glendale and though they have two great locations, this one is my top choice hands down. There's just something a little more intimate and thoughtful here. Lots of beverage accessories, gift items and various things here you'll enjoy. Mixers, snacks, and various lottery things that make it nice to stop in and take in the magic of Mission. You can place orders online as well for pickup and/or delivery and they'll do their best to accommodate your needs, events, celebrations or leisure accumulation.

My partner and I stopped by B&B for a late lunch. We'd seen their Philly on social and decided we…read moreneeded to try it out since we're always in the area and it could become a staple. We ordered the Philly and Pastrami to split and share. We dined in which was among a few small tables situated between the shelves of well-lit and visually clean bottles of liquor. Service was friendly but nothing memorable. After about 10 minutes, both sandwiches were brought to our table. They were hot and came on toasted rolls. Not really sure what bread specifically but seemed a bit like French rolls. Crunch crusts with soft middles which helped to cradle the fillings and absorb the delicious meat juices. The pastrami was great and not overly salty. It had a great zing from the crunchy pickles and mustard. The Philly was nice and gooey. The beef had great texture and was dripping with flavor (literally). Both were very good but I personally liked the pastrami better. If you like meat though, neither will disappoint. We will be back to try the other sandwiches. The only down side to our visit was buying sodas at the store. Their prices weren't listed and in my head, I expected them to be $3 or so. The Mexican Coke and small bottle of lemonade were each $6. $20 for a sandwich isn't cheap, but it price didn't make me gag--but I almost physically gagged when i saw soda prices ring up. Next time, we'll get our sandwiches to go and get drinks elsewhere.

This place is ridiculously good. The Wagyu cheesesteak and pastrami are phenomenal -- like, "I…read moreprobably didn't need to eat the whole thing, but here we are" good. They also make fresh hand rolls in the store, because apparently being amazing at sandwiches wasn't enough. And the owner is awesome. Super friendly, genuinely nice guy who makes you want to support the place even more. Definitely worth checking out. Just don't blame me when you start craving that Wagyu cheesesteak.

The people here are super friendly and helpful. I ordered the real deal brisket pastrami sandwich. Such a delicious sandwich and the size is pretty large. I think it could have lasted me two different meals. Especially if I got a side or two with it. Definitely would love to come back to try some of the other sandwiches. The prices is here are pretty reasonable especially with lots of expensive sandwich shops out there these days.

Luckily they're only about 10 minutes apart, so if you make the same mistake I did it isn't the end of the world. This is the house-looking location. The little market attached to it isn't as big as I remember though. It's mostly chips and drinks now, nothing super rare or worth making a special trip for. Do yourself a favor and grab a banana pudding while you're there. The other Yelp reviews aren't lying about that one. It's a sandwich shop, so this isn't going to be some long review. The pastrami is excellent, and the mortadella sandwich was surprisingly refreshing. Two completely different sandwiches, both worth ordering depending on what you're in the mood for. Cute spot. Good sandwiches. Sometimes that's all you need.

Though rush hour....might be an issue ? I've only arrived on the weekends. Their online email blast daily ...., is the best part. If you are looking for more than regular bottles...(best pricing is online). If you order for pickup , it's not necessarily ready quickly. They usually bring them from the warehouse. (Don't know where that is , but it's not onsite. ) Their APP is amazing...searching and everything. Shocking how it's 100 times better than any other alcohol store ever. Whoever create the APP and maintains is a genius. I don't live nearby , so I order and pickup next time in the area (6-8weeks). Unsure if there is a time limit for the holds. I have also ordered online with shipping (some bottles are available only via shipping ) caution. Definitely pay extra for the insurance. Whether if one or 10000 miles away. It's a bummer but no reason to be super cheap on that. Service in person is fine. It is what it is. Today a lady was helping me with my order from a few weeks ago. She was kind , more than most employees. They crush pricing compared to Totalwine or BevMo...except allocated bourbon. Don't bother for allocated bourbon. High pricing. Otherwise...non allocated bourbon and scotch ...excellent pricing. They don't negotiate. lol.
