We chatted for awhile about the accident and airbags, it was enjoyable. I offered to move the car to make it easier for him to load, but he stepped up and did it himself. First I asked the restaurant if it was okay to park in the lot across from them and was told yes. When I cam out the tow man was about to tow my brother car! I asked why I car was told and was informed that someone called. The tow man stated that he came inside the restaurant and asked them to make an announcement and was told no, which later we found was a LIE! And to add insult to injury, the tow man called the Gahanna location of the restaurant, but you're towing a vehicle from downtown Columbus, does that make sense, NO! SHAMROCK TOWING company is a big SCAM! People do not come downtown to park illegal to be towed! DON'T LIE ABOUT COMING INSIDE A RESTAURANT! And on the paperwork from the tow company, it shows a TOTALLY different ADDRESS than where I was PARKED! Not sure who regulates tow companies but SHAMROCK needs to be LOOKED INTO!! The tow truck driver was comforting to my son, gave him the idea to get his stuff out of the car and explained the next steps. When a young kid is in that situation, a little compassion goes a long way. We went to the lot the next day to finish clearing the car. The lady in the office answered our questions and the gentleman that accompanied us to the car reminded us to get the plate (he even removed it for us). Being that we were in a horrible situation with an accident and the car likely being totaled, every Shamrock employee we encountered made it a little better by being friendly and helpful.

I went to Luke's about a month ago, because I needed to get my transmission flushed. I was…read moreincredibly happy with the service. First of all, when you set up an appointment, you can request a loaner car, so that you don't need to wait there for the car, and I didn't have to miss work. I also saw a different rep ordering someone an Uber for a different customer because who didn't have appointment so there wasn't a loaner available. Secondly, I originally went in for a transmission flush. While I was at work, I got a text and email of the inspection they had done. The inspection was really easy to read, and gave me different levels of recommendations for other things that needed to be done. Some things were urgent, and some things were needed soon, but not urgent, and there were some things that were for maintenance only. On my lunch break, I called my service rep, and he was able to talk me through all of the things on the report, and explain things to me, because I am pretty illiterate when it comes to cars. I ended up also getting my drive belt replaced as well. But my rep made sure to let me know what the price would before I decided to go through with it. At the end of my work day, I drove my loaner car back to Luke's and picked my car up, and was on my way. Overall, the inspection report, and the loaner car I think is what really separates Luke's from the rest. When I've taken my car to get an oil change or the tires replaced at other places, i've always had to wait in the lobby and its a waste of time. I lost no time with Luke's and knew exactly what was happening to my car. Take your car to Luke's if you want incredible service.

I would never recommend them for any service again. They look to cut corners, place liability of their inability for repairs on sublet and their customers, are discourteous, and continually provide false updates on the repair status (very inconvenient when you are planning your day around when they will have the car ready, while also caring for two small children around their 'updates'). I would only recommend this shop for people who enjoy getting the run around, being belittled and repeatedly mislead, and needing a repair lifetime warranty for a place you wouldn't step back into again. 1/5 , would put 0, but it's not possible.
