Hired ALS for a second job because of their professionalism on their first job. Arona gave very competitive bid and had to deal with two difficult palm tree removals that he had no leeway for it to go wrong or it would of resulted in property damage. They handled it with ease and cleaned up well before they left. I highly recommend them. read more

Ok. Where to start. Arona owns this company and it shows that he takes pride in how he services people and how he completes a job. This was the first time I did requesting a quote from Yelp and it sure paid off. I got a bunch of offers for a quote but Arona was first up PLUS he could see me the same day. We had set up a time to meet at my property and he was 20mins early. He was very personable and professional. He gave me a quote that I believed was reasonable AND he was available this weekend. With those two combos, I went with his company. We again set up a time for him to come down and this time he was 50mins early. Dayum! We went over the scope of work again and him and his workers went to it. He anticipated 2 hours for the job. He did it in less than 1 hour!! I am very pleased with the results and the promptness shown when setting up an appointment with Arona. His team worked fast and they also cleaned up the street from all the leaves that came off the tree they dropped for me. If I ever have another tree trimming job to be done, that I can't do myself, I will call up Arona and have his team take care of it. read more

Arona was the first to respond and had a good price for cutting down 4 palm trees that were getting out of hand. We set up a date a couple days later and he and a guy from his crew showed up right on time. Ended up needing 5 cut down plus another tree trimmed back because the branches were getting close to the electric wire so his guy climbed the tree and cut the branches back easy. They were fast and efficient and nice guys, and I will definitely call them again for any future tree removal or pruning work. Mahalo! read more

I don't do reviews buy had to because Arona and his team did not disappoint with the most affordable price with quality work on island. He and his team were super professional, quick in response, and took down my huge coconut tree in 1 HOUR! I am really impressed and thankful that he saved me and my family a ton of money and stress for liability should someone had gotten hurt from the coconuts falling. I spoke to him around 6pm and by 1230pm the next day the 40 ft tree was gone. Very good hard working people with exceptional work ethic and friendly customer service. Absolutely recommend. Made appt.; I left family outing on a holiday he insisted was OK to meet on--and he never called nor showed, gave excuses discussed beforehand as 'didn't know' in an email excuse when I emailed him to say WHERE RU? Decency would be to CALL and cancel--not make an appointment on a holiday which he reassured me was OK--and I interrupted w/family to drive home to meet--and never call nor show! Not insured. STRIKE this one. what is with these Yelp 5 star reviews? This is the THIRD one who never bothered to show or call. 2 other gave a nuts thousands bid on a small job or never even GAVE a bid after a phone call-ghosted. What is going on here? I'm a regular person, courteous, and reliable. They sure are NOT! read more

My naupaka hedge and a big branch of my ulu (breadfruit) tree had grown out of control. I also had 2 old coconut stumps that were ugly. Plus, a lot of debris -- both leaves and people trash -- had built up over a long time. So, I searched for a service that could tackle all of these different jobs. Arona met me promptly and gave me a fair quote. On the day of the job, he and his crew came on time, got right to work, and did a fantastic job; the corner of the yard that had been looking ugly now looks terrific! And now I can enjoy putting in some nice plants. BIG mahalo, Arona! read more

Worked with Arona to have my mango tree pruned. He was very friendly, offered service at a great price, and got the job done right! He made it a point to check with me a few times during the pruning to make sure the tree was getting pruned the way I wanted it. He did all the tree pruning himself and had one worker to help him with the labor to cut up and load the debris into his truck for disposal. Site was left clean with no debris. Thanks Arona! read more

If you need trees cut or trimmed contact ALS Landscaping. Arona is so accommodating. I had to reschedule the tree cutting work a couple times due to unexpected construction at my home. Arona was patient and understanding. Also, his pricing is fair and reasonable. When he did finally come to trim the trees that morning, he was on time (early in fact) and worked efficiently and safely. He made certain he trimmed what I wanted and cleaned up well after the job was done. I was definitely happy and satisfied with his service. Thank you again Arona! read more

I'm not one to write reviews, but this one I definitely want to let people know about. We wanted/needed to remove our banana and plumeria trees as well as some other small trees/bushes that were neglected for a very long time (eye sores). Arona was quick to come and give us an estimate and patient while we made our decision (it took us weeks to decide). He was very informative, answered all our questions and took the time to explain things. On the day of, he and his son came and worked efficiently and did a great job. Literally removed and cleaned within about an hour! I'd definitely recommend ALS Landscaping! read more
