Do not get a pedi with Ann. I would recommend making a pedi appointment with Heidi or Tina for a job well done.

See Lisa. She does amazing acrylics. There is a small language barrier, as everyone working her is Vietnamese, but I've been coming here for about 4 years, and I'm extremely happy. The deluxe pedicure is amazing. read more

The only reason I continue to come back is because of Rosa. She is wonderful, very friendly and does a very nice job on my nails. I actually have sent my sister and mom there and now Rosa is their new nail girl. My one complaint is the man who I believe is the manager or owner. He is beyond rude and makes me feel very uncomfortable. I've heard the exact same complaint from many other customers. read more

I got my brows waxed here. The wax was way too hot and left me with a burn mark. It was horrifying and hurt so bad. Not very good communication so I opt to not get a manicure. read more

I agree, I only go here when I need a pedicure and can't make it to my normal place. They take for ever and the customer service is not the best. I always feel like I have to rush out of there and that I'm being rushed because they can't accommodate the number of people that walk in. read more

Last week I walked into this place for the first time, I'm very impressed. ..this place is clean and friendly atmosphere. .no waiting time at all. I have been so many places, can't get my nails done right. ..but this girl r just amazing, she is so quick and more gentle to me cuz I'm scare of getting hurt again from bad experience and she get my nails done right the way I want it...pink/white gel....they are awesome with customers service by offering bottle water while u r sitting there which most places doesn't have it...I would definitely be back and highly recommended to everyone read more

The staff is professional and courteous. My nails are always done beautifully

Really love getting my nails done by Dana. She is efficient and always does exactly what I want. I typically book ahead so I can make sure to get an appointment with her. Always leave happy with my nails. There are so many colors to choose from and really cute glitter too! I would recommend always having an appointment as they get busy quick! read more

Giving it one star because I was helped right away but that's about it. All I went in for was a manicure. I started out with one girl how didn't bother talking to me, except to ask what color I wanted. She was very rough with my hands and when she went to cut my cuticles she did such a bad job, left sharp cuts on my fingers. She started to paint my nails, but another customer walked in and came over and asked her to do her pedicure. She got up, grabbed another employee and told her to finish painting my nails. This new girl didn't say a single word to me and I could have done a better job than her with my left hand. She dropped large globs of polish on my arm and didn't clean it up, and the she didn't bother to clean the edges around my nails either. I wont ever go there again. read more

If i could give this Nail Salon ZERO stars, I would! To bad its the only Nail Salon in Alpine but I will NEVER get my nails done here again. I'm not much of a "negitive yelp poster" however, after my phone conversation with the front desk, I knew I had to share! I asked to speak with a manager and her response was " the manager isn't here, call back tomorrow" then when i asked to speak with an assist manager her response was "we are really busy right now can you call later". So that's how you treat your customers? Not to mention my pedicure was awful! THEY WERE SOOOO RUDE! She cut my toe nails wrong to were they are ingrown and HURT SO BAD! I had to drive to another salon to have them completely re-done! BEWARE THIS NAIL SALON IS AWFUL! ZERO STARS read more

This is a great nail salon for our community. The location is very convenient, next to Starbucks and Albertsons. I can get my nails done while I am out running my other errands. All of the staff is nice and professional. The shop is clean and I have never left disappointed. read more

Only nail salon in Alpine, so you don't have much of an option if you live here, but I had the WORST first impression. My dad lives in Alpine, so I went to get my nails done before our weekly hike (my usual spot was closed). I'll spare the details, but I went to get a broken nail fixed, and a fill. Took an hour and a half for a half assed job, and he literally ripped my broken acrylic nail off of my nail bed after telling him several times that I was in pain. I'm no rookie to nail salons and this place is less than mediocre... it was pretty clean, and they were nice... so they get 2 stars. read more

I have been here before and as another Yelper said "it works in a pinch" however, expect to add extra time and stick with a pedicure. Went in for a mani/pedi around 6p at night (they close at 7:30) got thru the basic pedicure by 7:15 and they had no time for the nails. Came back the following AM at opening to do manicure...I was directed to a pedicure chair...after I reiterated "manicure", I was seated and set up. As she started filing my nails, they switched my seat and manicurist so she could take another customer (who was also a manicure). She proceeded to give me a half assed mani, slopped (literally) nail polish on and ran off to a new client while I dried. When she came back and slopped on the top coat I took a better look at my nails only to find bubbles and the top coat of polish ending centimeters away from the cuticle with the top coat even further in. I asked her to take it off and redo, the second time was better (only one bubble, same layers less thick) though not professional by any means...I can paint my own nails better with my weaker hand and will continue to do it myself. Waste of money! read more

My First and unique visit here was was in December, I Hated the way they welcome you, I could barely understand their english, I requested a Full set and some lady told me to pick a color and gave me like 10 secs to choose then ask me for the color palette to give it to another costumer, I told her I wasn't ready yet, and she said Ok, but she was with this Negative attitude, I waited for 15min then I was Told to sit down, I was actually laughing because I Though It was a Joke, I've never been told SIT DOWN like a command in a Beauty/ Nail salon zero friendly, really rude people, Oh and They talk in their language as if they were criticizing people and laughing Because of course we don't understand what the hell are They saying. The guy who did my nails was so rude, he cut me several times, and I was letting Him Know, But he didn't seem To have a care, he just put this face like The world doesn't deserve Him or something. After a Painful Hour, I did realize the nails where not Perfect, some of them where Longer than the other hand, and Need to say those fingers where hurt for like 2 weeks, No Joke. Never coming Back again. read more

I really wanted this nail salon to be great for a quick, quality pedicure in Alpine, but sadly it wasn't. I have been here a couple times and every experience was lacking in most of the things I want from a nail salon (good service, good prices, quality work and products and cleanliness). I have experienced entering the salon and not being acknowledged for several minutes. After finally being asked why I was at the salon, I got seated in a spa pedicure chair for a few minutes and finally one of the esthetician sat down to do my pedicure. She seemed annoyed that she was even doing my nails and seemed to get annoyed that I didn't want to add any extras things like sea salt, or a painted flower. I also got a manicure at the same time, but unfortunately I got some kind of fungus on my nail from their tools or polish, which completely damaged my nail for over a month. The salon is pretty because it is very new, but the staff is not friendly and the work is not quality. I wouldn't recommend it at all. read more

Aweful nail salon, which is a bummer because I like to support small Alpine businesses. They constantly try to "up sell " you on their services. I asked for a red gel polish and she tried to convince me on another color. I came to realize she didn't want to open a new bottle and was trying to convince me on an old color that she had and wanted to use up. At the end my polish was crooked and looked horrible! read more

Definitely not a pro when it comes to getting a pedicure, probably had 5 in my entire life, on the same note not my first time and I know what is possible and generally speaking how they should turn out. Does it matter that I am a guy? I don't think so? Went here on Saturday morning and shop was not very busy, requested their most expensive package. After sitting down I realized that literally every girl (like 10) and 2 guys all looked like they had just been arrested, literally every worker in there was pissed off! My lady was older and I think probably the owner or some kind of boss because she answered the phone and took appointments every time that it rang, while doing my feet. Did I mention it was not very busy and someone else could have answered the phone? They didn't! Finished product was garbage!! nails were not filed and had sharp edges and after getting home realized I still had most of the calluses I walked in there with. This place SUCKS! STAY AWAY! read more

I was interested to see these reviews that were all over the place. I have been 3 times. I have very difficult nails and have had problems with them breaking, peeling, cracking and coming off. Tom has done my nails each time and although he doesn't do quite as good of a job as the girl I followed to 3 salons, it is more convenient. I have had 2 pedicures and liked both of them as well. the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because last time I made an appointment for fill and pedi at the same time and they took walk-ins before they started my pedicure which was just about at the end of my fill. read more

Possibly one of the worst nail salons ever. Not on the face of it, and maybe if you're the first customer in the morning they will actually spend the proper time and use the proper tools in the proper ways. However, considering this is not a $10 Mani pedi joint, they really need to step up their game. Kim is manipulative and plays on people's sympathies. They had a full shop 45 minutes before closing we were three and there were another two or three customers. Don't accept new business if you're going to complain about how you're not getting home early, and haven't eaten, and how difficult your life is. All the while doing an embarrassing job on people's nails. My manicure that was so called French, was peeling within 24 hours! I would have rather had no manicure at all than to deal with that. My nails were cut unevenly and not evened out through filing or any other means. And because of my personal sensitivity to this type of labor and service, I still tipped $8 on a $36 manicure and pedicure. Never in my life will I ever go to or recommend this nail shop. If I could give zero stars I would. That's unfortunate. read more

I don't recommend Tina. Aggressive, somewhat rude, rough, couldn't get oval shaping right on my natural nails, sloppy french manicure job - color bled onto natural part, the poorest hand massage job I've ever received, which she walked away from so abruptly - apparently to get a towel. When I first walked in, I was told that a gel, french manicure job was going to be $25. When Tina was done with me, I guess she decided to tack on her tip and up'd the price to $28. First time in this salon, and most likely won't come back! read more

The worst quality manicure I've ever had. My first gel manicure started peeling after 4 days. The manicurist took forever and I had to keep telling her how to shape my nails because they were uneven. Swore I'd never go there again, but got desperate because it's right near my house and figured it was just that woman. The second manicure was worse! The gel was uneven and lumpy and the second day was peeling. DON'T waste your money. read more

I live in Alpine but have never tried here until tonight. I must say, their service is divine! I got there and was seated immediately in a spa chair. The salon was quaint and had cute chandeliers decorating the room. I was surprised to see more male workers than I've seen in other nail salons, but don't be fooled, these guys knew what they were doing. Unlike a lot of nail salons that rush their work and try to get you out as fast as they can, these guys spent time and paid attention to details. Whoever did my pedicure spent a while perfecting his paint work. The guy that did my acrylics worked swiftly and efficiently. They truly were masters of their art. Bonus points for the fact they spoke fluent english (I've encountered some workers at other nail shops that couldn't even understand what work I wanted done). Overall great job, I'll definitely be coming back again and maybe I'll bring a friend with me this time. read more

I have had my nails done by Dana for years. She is the best and the I get many compliments. I always do the pink and white and Dana does a fantastic job. Its best to get an appointment because they take walk-ins and sometimes its very busy. If you want a great job, see Dana. read more

I have been going here for a year now and it is great. Everyone is very nice and sweet. I get my fills done by Dana and she is awesome! I recomend her to anyonew ho is picky with their nails and how they look! They all do great pedicures and have the very comfy chairs. its a great atmosphere while pampering yourself! read more

Just went there today. They suck! They were gonna let me leave with 5 coats of Nail polish on my toes. Not only that it looked like a 5yr old did it. Actually a 5yr would've done a better job! My acrylics looked like flat pancakes with no natural curve of the nail bed. Awful job just awful! Never going back! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service had my nails done they looks like crap the one girl tried to fix them the night that I had them done went back the next day to ask for them to do a full set to fix my nails because they look so bad and they told me no and that I wanted to pay and would not give me my money back read more

I just went here to get a pedicure and full set. I haven't been here in a while and let me tell you I was so impressed! They have new spa chairs, with cup holders, purse hooks and great massaging. The water felt great and smelled great. She messaged and pampered me forever. Her English was good and she conversed with me, until I started reading. I'm 21 and she didn't treat me any different bc I was young. And I loved the way my full set looked too! read more

I am having surgery next week so I made an appointment to have my acrylic nails soaked off. My appt was at 9:30am (they open at 9:30. I walked in at 9:25 because they appeared to be open. I told them I had an appointment and the girl told me I had to wait. I should have walked out at that moment. There were 6 employees helping the 2 woman that were in there. After 5 minutes, I asked how much longer. The lady reluctantly took me and started getting the products out as if she was putting a full set on me. I told her 2 times that I needed the existing nails soaked off, she finally understood........so I thought. She got a bowl with acetone so I assumed she was soaking the nails off. I had picked out a color to have put on and had it sitting on table next to me. She started RIPING my nails off with nail tips. I tried to stop her and she ignored me. I assumed she was just getting them started so the soaking would come off quicker. She then pulled off 2 nails on my left hand and actually cut the nail below the nail. It actually started to bleed; when I stopped her the 4th time she acted as if I hadn't asked her to soak my nails off. I got frustrated and told her very loudly that I had asked to have them soaked off from the beginning. She got up and walked over to the sink area and started talking in another language to another girl. The whole time she was helping me she was looking over my shoulder and actually making comments to the effect that there were a lot of customers waiting. Another girl came over and seemed to be trying to make the girl speed up. I had also asked for a manicure. What I got was my hand placed in a bowl, lotion rubbed quickly on my arms and oil poured on my hands. The girl across from me was actually getting a full back massage as part of her manicure. The lady did not file my nails and actually left my nails jagged. She than told me she didn't want to put nail polish on because the polish wouldn't go on smooth. I went to the counter to pay and the woman (who had been the one pushing her to speed up) told me I owed $15. I told her that all the lady did was take off the nails. She told me "no, you got a manicure." I tried to argue but she pretended not to understand me. I made my decision at that time that I needed to go through the owner, I did leave a tip even though in my gut I felt cheated, Coming from the service industry I know how much they depend on tips. Plus I don't entirely blame her. The owner obviously doesn't hold her employees to a high standard so she didn't know better. I called to ask for the manager's name and the lady who answered actually hung up on me. When I called back, she said that the lady was saying that she did put polish on. Than in the same sentence she said I told her I didn't want the polish on. I asked her why I would have picked out the color and had it sitting there. I asked for the owners name and she told me she didn't know it. I finally hung up because it wasn't going anywhere, she did tell me her name was Dana and the girl that did my nails was Heidi I don't believe her. Please don't make the mistake of going here read more

This is the worst nail salon to go to if you want good service, to feel appreciated, and to get pampered. It's convenient if you live in Alpine, it's fairly inexpensive, and there is a girl or two who do a good job. But overall, they are rude, and do half a**ed work. My girl put cold water in the basin, she was busy doing another pedicure so I told the girl next to her it was cold, they were so rude about it. Then I had to ask her to put conditioner in the water. She barely did anything I asked for, she barely scrubbed the calluses, the service I paid for, everything she did was minimally done and she had an attitude the whole time and barely said one word to me. She never smiled. She didn't pull down my pant legs when she was done or put my shoes on my feet. She got up and left me sitting there and went off to do someone else. I couldn't believe it. I got up to walk out and had to wait for her at the front. That was when she gave me a fake smile, when she thought she was going to get a tip. Do not go here. This is not my first bad experience here, but it is my last. I thought I would give them one more chance..What a bad choice that was! read more
