They had solid gold nose rings of all sizes, which was just what I wanted. They install the jewelry for you, but you have to make an appointment. I was able to get in the next day pretty easily. Frankie is awesome- creative and non-intimidating. I felt very safe with him and could tell he has high standards and a high skill level. He had a hard time getting the piercing in (which was my issue as well) and let me know that the hole was a little blocked. He was able to get a needle through to open it up a little, which didn't really hurt. They gave me a quote before any of this was done and the price at the end was almost exactly what I was quoted. Came here to accompany my cousin who was getting a tattoo (which turned out great!) unfortunately don't remember the tattoo artist name but he was fun to talk too during the process as I sat in on the session I had my own appointment with Frankie, had a conch piercing done. He was friendly, knowledgeable and creative when I asked about curating my ear pieces into something else. Fairly prices for gold pieces (14k gold in particular): I splurged and am very happy (check out the frog earring...he's cute). I had the best piercing experience here. Frankie is super knowledgeable and took his time to help my friend and I pick out jewellery, which there is a great selection of and is all very high quality. I got my septum repierced after having it done incorrectly many years ago. Frankie explained what went wrong the first time and how he would need to pierce it this time. He took his time and it was pretty much painless. Healing so far has been super easy and the aftercare kit he has is such a nice touch. My friend wasn't sure what she wanted done, so Frankie explained how her anatomy would/wouldn't work with the piercings she was deciding between. He seems really passionate about making sure you are happy with the end result and if it's the right piercing for you. I know she appreciate his advice and she is super happy with what she had done. I went In for a single lip piercing on a fun Sunday whim with my bf. Upon arrival I was asked over a dozen questions about my personal life by the male assistant which came off slightly invasive. Then the piercer who identified himself as Frankie, then asked me if I didn't mind to wait 10 minutes "if I'm into that sort of thing" which I didn't understand that statement and it was extremely awkward. The overall experience was more awkward and uncomfortable than anything I've experienced before when getting a tattoo or piercing. I will not be returning. read more

My 7 year old daughter and her 6 year old cousin wanted to get their ears pierced together. Frankie got them in the next day. He was professional and it's very evident that cleanliness is a huge priority for him. He put the girls at ease and had them laughing a lot of the time. My niece was a little nervous and he was very patient and kind with her. Their piercings never swelled or bled, and have looked amazing since we left his shop. I was very impressed. Went to check out nose ring piercings as well as information about a potential tattoo. The woman who greeted us directed us to an Instagram account for tattoos and had us wait for the owner who did piercings. We waited for about fifteen minutes, only to be quoted $290 for two tiny silver nose rings, one of which was to be inserted into a somewhat closed previous piercing. I was scolded for having my Fanny pack on the counter while I was filling out an arduous welcome form only to have to recite all of my information again to him (the owner) in front of another group. Did not feel welcome and honestly was quoted a ridiculous price. read more

I was walking around killing time in Bothell, not doing too of nothing, and I happened to stumble upon Alpine Body Arts a tattoo and piercing studio. I spent sometime talking to owner Frankie who is a wealth of knowledge on all things body piercing. Back in my punk rock days I used to be riddled with piercings, as time has passed they have all closed up. I expressed how much I missed my nostril piercings I used to have and he after a few questions he believed they were still open. I obliged to have him check. Not only was Frankie extremely gentle, he was able to painlessly taper open my old nostril piercings. I was so stoked it was like seeing an old friend again!!! maybe there is still some punk rock in me after all. I have been getting tattoos from Holly since before it was Alpine body arts and it was hometown tattoo. She is an amazing artist and puts in the extra effort to make your tattoo personal and look it's best. She also has the most reasonable prices out of any artist i've gone to, which is many. She's been my regular artist for about a year now and i've gotten 4 tattoos from her so far and they all look awesome.
