This place was awesome and very cozy. I originally came in for a small and simple tattoo of the word "eARTh" with green and black colors. They also had a friendly little dog in the shop; he was very curious and fell asleep, very cute. But yes my tattoo: my tattooer, Mike, had offered me a retro 70s book of font! He told me to take my time and was very accommodating. I stumbled across this font and thought it was perfect. Mike gave me his insight and full attention to the piece because he made sure that I was comfortable with the size of the tattoo. Trying 3 different sizes! He made sure that it was symmetrical to my other tattoo on my right shoulder, even explaining how it was indeed in the perfect spot. The tattooing process went by so smoothly that I fell asleep! I surely do recommend getting your tattoo done by Mike at Tattosmith & Company.

I came here beginning of July 2020 to get words tattoo. I felt extreme pain when the artist(female) I cant remember her name was tracing the word heart in red. Its been over a month and the tattoo has healed yet that red word has a bump to it, so I'm pretty sure she left a scar. So now that bump will forever be there whenever I touch the word. My friend also got her tattoo and it was crooked. My artist was nice but she scarred me and thats something cant be fixed.

My side of our twin yin and yang tattoos..

I currently live in Hawaii and my twin sister lives in Sultan. I was planning a week long visit to the Evergreen state. My twin and I have talked about a "twin" tattoo for a few years. We finally had a design in mind and the opportunity to be together to get them done. I called a few shops and many were unable to accommodate the short notice and my limited availability. I finally called Tattoosmith & Company and spoke with Frank. From the start the customer service and care was on the forefront! Frank asked me a few questions and I explained the time restrictions and explained the type of tattoo's we were looking to get along with the meaning behind them (I don't know why its a compulsion to over share with your hair dresser, bartender, and your tattoo artist). To my amazement after much disappointment Frank confirmed he could get us on the books before I had to return home however, due to squeezing us in he said we may have a little wait. We agreed to a day and time and my twin drove to the shop to place the very reasonable deposit to lock in our appointment. We showed up on our scheduled day and time and as warned we had a bit of a wait. While waiting I did take note of how clean the shop was top to bottom everything was well kept, clean, and sterile. As well as their health and safety procedures to ensure a positive environment for their customers well-being. That being said the wait wasn't so bad as the customers who were there getting work done were lovely and we engaged in conversation with the entire shop as though we were old friends. Christian did my sister's tattoo and was super patient with her understanding this was her first tattoo and has back issues. He really took his time and allowed her to take breaks as needed for her comfort. They engaged in conversation bonding over mutual new endeavors and she felt comfortable, and relaxed (as relaxed as one can be the first time), and I believe he did a wonderful job! Frank did my tattoo and I can not speak highly enough about him. He was amazing with his customer care and service. He provided an experience beyond expectations. I had the feeling of getting tattooed by an old friend rather than a stranger. Best of all I LOVE MY TAT! Thank you Frank & Christian. You two gave us the gift of wearing art that allows us to be together regardless of distance! I do HIGHLY recommend this shop. Worth the travel (regardless of where you are coming from), worth the wait! I look forward to my next visit and my next ink project with Tattoosmith & Company!

    Conch piercing

I came to get my helix and my conch pierced today. It was a Sunday afternoon and there were 3 people ahead of me. I ended up waiting for about 2 hours because Frankie really takes his time with each customer to explain the process, address any concerns, and go over after care procedures. He was very thorough in explaining everything to me and addressing any concerns I had about my piercing. The equipment was cleaned in an autoclave and Frankie used multiple sets of gloves when cleaning my ear, marking it for the piercing, and actually piercing it. He made sure i was happy with the placement before moving forward with the piercing. I was very nervous about the pain but he was so quick and talked through every step of the process. It was pretty manageable in the end. My ear piercing experience was great and i would highly recommend Frankie to anyone who needs a piercing done!

My friend's triple inverted helix done by Frankie!

A small and random place but great nonetheless. I did not get anything done here myself, but I have been here on two separate occasions where close friends got their piercing and I was present for the whole process. They only have one piercer who is named Frankie Fingers (not sure if fingers is actually his real name) Frankie is incredibly knowledgeable and explains everything in a lot of detail. He was also very nice and reassured both my friends about all their worries. At this place they use a needle to do piercings which is what you should look for when getting your piercing done. If a gun is used, it is quite dangerous for most piercings other than the usual lobe, with a gun there is a much higher risk for some complications so it is great this place uses a needle. My first friend got a triple inverted helix piercing and with jewelry, it cost her around $180. This might sound like a lot but for 3 piercings and jewelry, it is honestly a great price. When we were in the piercing room, Frankie further explained things and also explained the process in which she should take care of her piercings. He made her feel very comfortable and the piercings were done like that. She said it hurt but it wasn't as bad as she thought. After the piecing was completed, he further explained how help with the healing process and told her if she had any questions or concerns, she could return and if anything was wrong then that could be fixed for free. He also provided a free bag of salt for a mixture for the healing process and a booklet to help her out. She was beyond happy with her piecing and the experience. When she returns to get her rods shorted in a couple of weeks, she will be also getting another piecing as she was so happy with her first one done by Frankie. My second friend got a double helix and with jewelry it cost her around $110, which is also a pretty good price. Again Frankie was super nice and knowledgeable and made her super comfortable. Frankie also remembered my first friend who got her piercing a week before this and checked on her also. And also again her explained everything very well and had some very encouraging words which actually might have prevented her from backing out. The process was quick but not painless (again with a needle) but she was super happy with her piecing and her experience at the end. To end I think this is an amazing place to get your piercing done. Frankie is great and their customer service seems amazing. A high recommend

My friend and I found this place on Yelp and based on cost and reviews, we decided to go here for our tragus and septum piercings. Frankie was great--kind, personable, had a good sense of humor, and also was very knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and walked us through the piercing process step-by-step. He even took the time to answer our questions about past piercings. Highly recommend.

I had very bad experience with the last artist from a different place and while browsing on yelp, I found this place. I highly recommend Mike. He's super sweet, polite, detail and awesome! Def coming back! Thank you, Mike!

Best place I've ever been to! Nice clean work! Comfortable environment, and (in my opinion) the best artist around! Mike is the only guy I'm going to for tattoos! I've had three done already and each one has great detail and depth!
