The 4 ladies that were working at the location have terrible customer service and were very rude. We walked up to the counter while all 4 ladies were talking to each other, we patiently waited until it became clear that we would not be helped...when we asked "Can someone help us?" The response was that of rude looks and a finger saying give us a minute..so we waited for them to finish their conversation. Once we finally received "help" it was poor, the girl was not knowledgeable at all and didn't seem to even want to help with continued rude faces throughout the transaction. I never do reviews but felt that their actions were disgusting and disrespectful to all customers. The ownership should definitely look into replacing those 4 employees with new employees that focus on customer service. read more

Cheating place inside Alderwood mall. First they did the piercing in a wrong spot, then they didnt inform about the protection plan to me before payment was made. When I asked about this in feedback, here is the response I get from the store manager Carlo Draper. I dont want to go this place again. Dont waste your money for bad service. ...  I am very sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience with Allison, I Carla the manager walked up when this piercing was being done and you had told the assistant that was helping Allison that you wanted it placed where Claire's had initially pierced after the other short post had been removed. When you left, you thanked the team for all their help, so I am a little confused about your concerns as our last interaction you left on a positive note. I completely understand that you are not wanting the ESA's (protection plan) so please come back and we will be happy to return them at your convenience.  I want you to know that we take your feedback very seriously and want to do everything possible to make it right. read more

I purchased a silver bracelet for $100.00 that broke after 2 months. I took it back to the store and they said since I did not purchase a service contract there was nothing they could do for me. Their website says their products have a 90 warranty. They did not offer to repair or replace it. I called the main office number and they said the same.... They could have easily worked with me and provided something as now I have a $100.00 bracelet that is useless. :-( read more

Horrible customer service! Arrived at counter at 9:55am and found exactly what I wanted to buy. No need to try on- just wanted to purchase. The woman behind counter never looked up and after a few minutes I said "excuse me may I purchase something" she stated we don't open until 10:00. In my mind I'm thinking the two minutes must make a difference. I left and went to another store. Came back at 10:05 and stood there for 7 minutes she never looked up. She continued to flip through receipts. She was leaning over counter with her "plumbers crack" showing. Not attractive. I initially took my daughters here to get their ears pierced. One daughter had no problem and the other got the ear piercing gun stuck in her ear which really worried her. That aside three weeks later we had to come back because one of my daughters ear rings had fallen out and we were told that if anything happened to the ear ring we could come back and they would replace it for free. WRONG. You have to have the MISSING ear ring in order for them to replace it for free. My big disappointment was when I was talking to the two employees they were both greeting me with great disrespect. When I told them I wanted them to call their manager for me to talk to one of them actually huffed and rolled her eyes at me. I initially went to the piercing pagoda to avoid the craziness of Claire's but now will regret that. At least at Claire's I am always met with great customer service and I would never get huffed at. read more

Literally they have horrible customer service. They all seem like they hate their jobs which makes me feel some type of way I even have to deal with workers like that BUT today, one of the girls who "helped me" was hella shady. I was buying earring and her exact words when I was checking out was "...and it's COMES WITH a one year one warranty already so if any.." then all of the sudden my total was more than the price of the item and tax so I obviously looked at my receipt when I left. Went back to confront her about being shady with how she made it sound and she said so yeah it cost the $11.99 it's for you so that you don't have to spend the extra money to replace it. She didn't have much a response when she realized I knew exactly what she was doing. Ended up returning my item because I don't condone customer service who has to be shady AF to make their commission. Go somewhere with employees who values honesty and not themselves. read more

She even said it didn't hurt! Cheapest children's jewelry. Gold and cz earrings, 50$, with screwbacks were worthless. Backs kept falling off, threading in the post was barely there, the back itself was flimsy, lost both. So cheap, don't have anything to bring back. Buy kids jewelry somewhere else. read more

My 21 month old daughter started asking for "pretties in her ear" because one of her little friends has them. After discussing with my husband, we decided to get them done since 1) She was asking and 2) She wouldn't remember. Piercing Pagoda in Lynnwood came highly recommended by her friend's Mom and another Mom I know who got her daughter's ears pierced there as well. On 3/19/2012, I stopped in to ask about piercing a kid's ears her age since she is a bit older, and the gal there was super nice and seemed competent and confident and assured me she had pierced all ages. My husband left work to be there for the milestone, and we attempted to have them done. Well, the girl only got one through. The second one didn't make it, and she was very apologetic and seemed to be super upset. She had to call her manager to find out what to do. The manager talked to me on the phone and said I had two options. The first would be to choose another pair of earrings and have both ears repierced again, or wait until Friday when her shipment would be in so they could pierce with the same one. I chose to wait and let my child run around with one earring in looking like George Michael because I clearly stated I did not want to repierce her ear that already had an earring in it. So we waited. Today is Friday. I stopped in and there was a different gal there who told me that they didn't get her earrings in, but I could choose another pair that looked the same except have them be 14k instead of 10k. Her manager wasn't in yet, which was fine since I was early, so I went to eat lunch and came back, this time toting along two friends. The manager was there, and greeted us in a cold voice, so immediately I knew this wasn't going to be a good experience. She confirmed that they didn't get the correct earrings in but it "wasn't her fault" because she "couldn't help it that her shipment didn't come in on time" and she "wouldn't know when the correct earring would be in" so she wanted to swap the earrings out for 14k. I told her that I didn't want my daughter's existing earring to be touched, and she rudely said "Well, there's not much I can do. I need a pair of earrings to send back to our warehouse." No "I'm so sorry this is happening, I understand you must be very frustrated." Nothing. After arguing with her, and one of my friends speaking up because she couldn't believe how rude the manager was being, I finally got her to pierce one of my daughter's ears with a 14k white gold with a different back. I sat down and she pulled out the cloth and didn't even notify me she was actually going to do the piercing. She didn't draw a dot on, or ask if I was ready, nothing. She just did it. After she was done (and my child was screaming, which I knew would happen because she now associates that place with pain), she turned her back on me and didn't say a word. I had to actually ASK if we were done and if she needed anything else from me. She said "Nope, you can leave" without looking up from what she was doing. I explained to her that I was very disappointed in my service here and wouldn't be returning, and she, again, without looking up, said "Okay that's fine. Good bye" and waved me off. So here I sit with my daughter who has mismatched backings, mismatched earrings, and livid as all getout. So much for this being a pleasant, fun experience for the two of us. I will never spend another dime at this location again. I have put in a call to the corporate office and am waiting to hear back from the district manager. This lady should be working at night time as a night janitor scrubbing toilets since she has zero people skills. BEWARE. read more

I have had 2 bad experiences with a the same worker there. I don't know what her problem is but she shouldn't work customer service. Not only is she not back from her breaks when the sign says. then she has attitude when she sees you waiting for her to come back. she was talking on the phone while she was helping me! my items rang up wrong and instead of being decent about it she was blaming me and throwing a fit!! she is a horrible employee!! most people wouldn't have been the better person and walked away like i did. she is a horrible person I hope people see this and don't give them business they don't deserve it. read more

I was looking for a nice earing for myself just to cheer me up, but I was told by the sales lady over @ alderwood mall that I have to wait for 20 mins d/t she's the only one on the store & she has to pierce a baby.. so she ask me to come back later but I really wanted that earings & it will only take her 2 mins to check me out & sign my c card then off I go, so I left then when I came back after 30 mins the earings is gone & dont have anymore stocks.. She pointed me to other branches but I was already upset & broken hearted..never will I come back to this store again.. Pls rpovide more staff to assist during peak times. read more

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. I came here to get my seconds pierced and picked some smaller titanium earrings. They did not say anything to me about this decision, and when the earring went into my earlobe and the skin sealed over it I was unsure of what to do. I came back and asked what I should do and the girl who helped me was not only very rude but also told me she couldn't do anything about it. She assured me that it wasn't a big deal and it should come out of the skin within a few days. We called the manager and she said that it happens all the time with these earrings (AGAIN- I WAS NOT WARNED ABOUT THIS) and that if I came by before 5 she could try to do something about it as long as I "didn't keep her waiting". She also informed me that it was extremely vital that I either came in right away, or immediately went to the hospital. The first girl I had spoken with told me the exact opposite so I ended up waiting several more days to do anything about it, only to find that it had gone much further into my skin. Overall I was extremely disappointed with the service we received and the fact that their negligence could have sent me to the hospital with a staff infection. No one that I talked to was in any way helpful or even pretended to care. I will never be back to the Alderwood or Bellingham locations and will be sure to discourage any friends from getting piercings here. I have never experienced worse customer service, and as far as I am concerned none of the girls working here seem to have any experience with piercing and only seem to be concerned about making money.
