The detail of these cards was helpful for me to continue the same schedule while she was at home and at school. My daughter is now entering the young 5's and she and I are both excited for this next journey. The teachers have told me she will be learning how to use computer skills, learning spanish, and reading and writing. She will also begin learning math. The owner of SFMB, Nanci, has been extremely supportive to me and my family, and has gone above and beyond what I would have ever expected from an owner of any business. I am a single parent, and this is a school that I am proud to say my daughter attends. It is well worth the value of your money spent.

Whoever answers the phone will help you, and if they say they will look into something and call you back they will actually do so, and do so promptly. After enrolling my son in Goddard I came for 3 visits an hour each the week before he started in the infant room. I came home from each visit feeling uncomfortable. The issues that I had were with the teachers lack of communication. When I brought 4 bottles and gave his teacher exact times to feed him and I came to pick up my son and found he was only fed two bottles in the morning. He was laying on the tile floor on his back screaming. I was told that they didnt know when to feed him because the other teacher had left so they didn't. When I went to tell the director mrs. Jean she wanted me to speak on the phone with the head teacher. At this point I was feeding my son who hadn't been feed for several hours and was crying in hunger and she was upset I refused to stop feeding him to talk to the teacher on the phone. Another issue I had was my son was put to sleep in his swing when I asked that he not be Ms. Jean said I would need to address it with the teacher myself. I found my child was put to sleep in his crib covered in spit up (his outfit was dirty under his sleep sack). One of the teachers offten picks up the babies by their arms and calls them stupid. I never felt comfortable leaving my son here and after two weeks on the day I found my son wasn't fed we left the owner walked me to my car saying the tuition was nonrefundable.

It was a $140 for 2 kids being picked up 14 minutes after 10 hours!! The paperwork I signed said $10/hr per child, so I disputed it with my credit card and then they forged my initials on an updated document. The best thing I did was leave this place!!!

We were in Detroit for…read morea wedding and needed child care for six rambunctious kids ranging from 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 years old. We were able to book CAPEC months in advance, which gave us the peace of mind to book the trip knowing that we had reliable child care in place for the night of the wedding. The reservation process was smooth and easy. I spoke to Ebony by phone and she explained her services and confirmed that she could accommodate the size of our group. Once we decided to book CAPEC, we received a link to fill out all the necessary information online (i.e. allergy information and emergency contacts for each child). We then received a written agreement laying out all the terms and information we needed to plan ahead. Given that we had a large group of six kids, Ebony brought a second staff member, Yolaunda. The two of them came very well prepared with plenty of toys and activities for the kids to play with. As soon as they arrived at the hotel they had the kids engaged with bubbles, balloons, and musical instruments. They also did a great job of comforting/distracting the kids so that the parents could slip out without causing a meltdown. Throughout the evening Ebony texted us updates and pictures of the kids playing and enjoying themselves, which was very reassuring and put our minds at ease so we could enjoy the wedding festivities. When we got back to the hotel at midnight all of the kids were fast asleep. The next morning the kids told us how much fun they had with Ebony and Yolaunda, which is really the best feedback you can get. Thank you Ebony, Yolaunda and Children At Play Event Childcare!
