Goddard was an amazing experience for my children. They made significant academic gains and thrived in the supportive teaching environment. That progress didn't happen by accident; it was very clear from the daily status reports that a lot of thought went into curriculum development. As a family with 2 working parents we especially appreciate the fact that the office is extremely well-run. You won't get endlessly transferred and forced to waste a chunk of your day playing phone tag with four different people. Whoever answers the phone will help you, and if they say they will look into something and call you back they will actually do so, and do so promptly. I would recommend the Goddard school without qualification to anyone and everyone looking to give their children a top-notch educational experience. read more

We've been a Goddard family for roughly 3 years. Both of our little girls have been attending since our youngest was 3 months old. We've had at least 1 child in all of of their classrooms as our oldest is about to graduate preschool in the summer. I can honestly and confidently say that I would recommend them to everyone. If we decide to have another child, this is where they will be attending. Their curriculum, care, and creativity is unmatched. I'm also an overbearing, over protective, helicopter dad (2 daughters will do that to you). If I'm comfortable with Goddard contributing to the development of my children, you will be too. read more

I currently have two students enrolled in the Goddard School in Oxford and both students truly love it! I have really seen my children thrive both socially and educationally since starting school there. As a teacher myself, I am really impressed with the thought and intentionality of the teachers and the lessons they teach. Every activity has a learning purpose but is also fun and multicensory for the students. My kids have learned so much and more importantly, have developed a love for learning, thanks to the Goddard School. My wife and I are so happy about our experience with Goddard we actually regularly tell each other how glad we are to have switched to them. We had a terrible experience at another well known daycare and were concerned when we transitioned to Goddard, but all those concerns went away. They are very structured so you know what to expect. They put a lot of time and energy into helping the kids develop new skills and abilities (even with infants). We found that our son developed so much quicker at Goddard than our previous daycare. The staff is incredibly friendly and feels like an extension of your family and not just a place to drop off your kid. Our son thoroughly enjoys his time there. The teachers are great about giving thorough end of day reports. They also give great advice for new parents to help the child have a better experience every day. When I was deciding what preschool to sign my daughter up for, I had it narrowed down to Goddard or OXford Early Learning Center. I tried reaching out to OELC several times and couldn't get ahold of a person. I reached out via Facebook and was told to just leave a message. No one called me back. Eventually my husband got through to someone and we were able to schedule a tour. It had to be after hours and I wasn't able to meet the teachers or see the kids interacting in the classroom. It was very disappointing. Now, when I called Goddard I got an answer every time I called. I never had to leave a message. I was able to set up a tour during hours and meet my daughters teacher and she was able to interact with the other kids. They answered all my questions and explained everything to me. I like that I am allowed to stop in whenever I want. This tells me they have nothing to hide. When I signed her up they even let her do a few practice days to see how she would do before she started. I love her teacher Ms Barbie. I am sent photos and pictures throughout the day and at the end of the school day I get an email summary of all the things she did and learned and it also tells me exactly what she ate out of her lunch. You can tell that the staff there really care about the kids and love their jobs. My 4 year old daughter even started coming home and is doing basic addition! I don't think I started addition until 1st grade when I was a kid. I just signed my son up and he will be starting in the fall. read more

We love the Goddard School! We couldn't be happier with what our children learn each and every day. We feel our children are safe and secure! Not only do we have day to day communication with our teachers, the Director and the Owners we also receive reports on our children electronically every day!
