I called a couple of weeks ago to set up and appointment to come in and look at apparel for screen printing. The person on the phone was very nice and seemed eager to help me. We set up an appointment on Wednesday 5/18/22 for me to come in at 11:30a. I received an email saying that he was excited to meet me and sent me a link to look at before hand. I showed up a few minutes early and was greeted by staff. I told them I was looking for Jay and had a meeting with him. They said that I could take a business card and that he had not been in all day and was not sure where he was. The staff was very friendly and was clearly embarrassed by the lack of communication on the business' end. I told him I would wait about 10 minutes and see if Jay showed up. I was super excited to look at options and even took off of work to come in. After 10 minutes, I was extremely frustrated. I looked at our email communication and sent an "I am here for our appointment" message. No response at all. I even called the number listed on the email address to see if I could get ahold of him. The number listed was the store number that I was already standing in. The sales person apologized and was very sincere. I walked around for awhile looking at apparel in the store but was very upset with being stood up for our meeting. It has been over a week and still no response. I was really hoping to use this location to screen print as I have heard great things from friends and family. I find it incredible unprofessional that no one has even reached out to apologize, let alone acknowledge that they missed our agreed time to meet.

Update #2 It's been…read more4 years since my last review and there's a huge difference in how I use this UPS store. I've since opened my own business and I use this location several days a week, most recently as a mailbox key holder. I have dropped thousands of USPS packages here over the past year in business, always grateful that UPS offers this partnership since the nearest post office is at least 15 mins away. The employees are kind about the USPS and Amazon drop offs and after bad experiences other places, this is the only delivery service location I frequent anymore. Delivery and mailing these days is not perfect, but thank god for my UPS store down the road.

I had read Elaine Meszaros' great book, The Devil's Advocate's Guide to Planning Your Business…read moreWebsite (https://www.amazon.com/Devils-Advocates-Planni.../.../B0147B8WS4). It was helpful and informative and, like other examples of Elaine's writing, funny and entertaining. I had made and managed a website for my work as a musician and yoga teacher for many years, but it had a limited format and was time-consuming to update. So I asked Elaine to help me pull together an affordable new website that I could maintain, for the most part, on my own. She recommended WordPress, and she built the website with all of the features I asked for: the kind of menu that I liked, a homepage that moved the way that I wanted it to; soothing colors and a font that I liked; a place to schedule yoga sessions; a place for listening to cuts of songs and for buying downloads or CDs; and a blog. Elaine also helped me learn how to go in to work on the site, adding text, updates, and photos that I take. Learning to work with WordPress brought out all of my technophobic tics, and I needed a fair amount of help along the way. But Elaine stayed patient and clear with me, and we got it done... And I now have a website that I really like, and the basic skills to work with it, update it, and keep it going on my own. Elaine Meszaros is great. She is smart, funny, and knows how to work well with crotchety clients who have a hard time learning a new technology. I'm sure she would do well with mellower clients, too! I recommend her highly--as a very creative visual artist and graphic designer, as a web designer, and as an educator who can demystify tech processes and make them accessible for people like me who struggle with them. Her terms were straightforward and she was professional, yet friendly. I liked two of her three initial designs and vacillated a lot between them. She was patient and modified the designs based on my input and got back to me promptly. I ended up really liking the logo that I eventually choose. I appreciated her skill in being able to come up with a design that would appeal to a broad age range, convey a sense of optimism for people seeking help with a communication disorder, and also complimented my LLC name. It was not what I had originally envisioned for a logo - it was much better! I am so happy that I did not go with a "do it yourself" generic logo.
