5++ STARS!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Alpha Tree Services. If I could Rate Alpha Tree Services 10 stars I would. They were extremely professional, arrived before their scheduled start time, made expeditious work of removing our trees, and left our property better than they found it. Jesus Diaz's team was professional, safe and very efficient. Alpha Tree Services is a Better Business Bureau accredited business and is backed by the Bureau's A+ rating; a rare feat amongst tree companies in the triangle area. We had 33 very large trees (mostly pines) precariously positioned around our house in the front, side, and back yards. Every time a storm came through, we feared for the worst and prayed for the best. We finally decided that it was time to get something done. We called five different tree companies. Four companies were very good in their meeting with us, their quotes were all similar, customer service seemed to be good and we felt we had enough to make a final decision even though no one really stood out from the others. Little did we know that another company was getting ready to rise above our expectations. One company kept popping up in our heads from consistently showing up in our internet searches and also having excellent reviews. Alpha Tree Service! We decided to get one more quote from them. We are so thankful that we called Alpha. From the moment Jesus arrived for the quote, we realized that Alpha Tree Services was the company we were going with. Jesus, is old school; he got out of his truck, walked right up to me, extended his hand for a firm handshake and then passed off a business card. A quick softer handshake for my wife and he set about walking the property with us. Where the other companies were quick to give a quote and answer questions, Jesus took his time, and not only answered our questions, but he asked questions as well. After he gave us a quote, he pointed out two additional trees that were diseased and told us that he would take those down while he was here for no extra charge if we decided to take them down. Alpha Tree Services were neither the cheapest nor the most expensive quote that we received. They were right in the middle. We hired them as they were the best company by far for our job. We had a copy of their Certificate of Insurance by the next business day as well as a written quote that echoed what Jesus had told us on scene. On a side note, Alpha Tree Services was one of two companies out of the five that offered Worker's Compensation insurance for their employees. That was also a plus for us. Our job was a two-day job. Alpha Tree Services showed up early both days. They worked non-stop only taking time out for a brief lunch each day. When Alpha Tree Services left our property at the end of day two not only was the work result much better than we had hoped for, but our yard was left cleaner than they found it. OUTSTANDING work all the way around by Alpha Tree Services!!! Alpha is truly a trustworthy company that goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. A further testament to the quality of work, attention to detail and the overall professionalism of Alpha Tree Services is that two of our neighbors immediately hired them to take down trees on their property as soon as they finished working on ours. I have used them for a number of jobs, and they have always done excellent work at a very fair price. They removed an 80 ft tall white oak growing within 6 ft of my foundation and took it down without the need for an expensive crane. Jesus and company started here yesterday mid day. We had 10 standing Leyland Cypress with storm damage from Matthew. Jesus and I walked the property talking what I wanted done. He asked clarification questions and got answers. He and his crew came in again asked questions to ensure they were taking the correct trees. Had Alpha Tree Service come out again but this time i had to cut down 32 trees. They had fallen during Hurricane Mathew. They came out gave me an estimate and completed the work. Again I was very happy with their service. They were neat and professional. I was worried about what my property would look like when the trees needed to be taken away since they went across the entire backyard. But Alpha left no signs that the were even on my property (with the exception of the trees gone). I would totally recommend them for your tree work. read more

These guys are PHENOMENAL. Really delightful to work with. Very prompt in quoting, communicating, and showing up for the job, did exactly what they said they'd do when they said they'd do it, came out with the right equipment and a team of enough skilled people to get the job done right, did the job thoroughly, safely, and quickly, and left the jobsite pristine. We had them take out 4 massive trees and grind the stumps. They went above and beyond to get difficult stuff done, for instance grinding one of the stumps in a tight spot, and carefully taking down one of the trees I wanted milled into lumber. We were DELIGHTED to work with them and will do so again when we need this type of work done. They stand in SHARP contrast to the biggest tree firms around here who won't honor their quotes, aren't very responsive, and want to charge astronomical rates for your trouble.
