I needed another contractor to come in and fix it, and no one would touch the job. So I called Sound Kitchen and Bath and they referred me to Ron Vanderbeken. Ron is my hero! He and his crew came in, listened carefully to what I had to say, ripped out the botched job and did it correctly. He is not the cheapest contractor, but as I learned the hard way, you get what you pay for. Ron is excellent at his craft and hires excellent people to work with him. He runs a tight ship, stays on schedule, works clean, and answered my endless questions. My job had red flags all over it, since he was fixing someone else's work. I am very appreciative that he took it on. The part of his service that speaks of his integrity and customer service the most in my opinion is the 90 day follow up. Ron came to my home and checked out the shower floor, asked me if I was satisfied and I was. He stands behind his work. I highly recommend him. He is worth every penny.

So we had a smallish remodel project in our garage that involved adding a partition wall, finishing out drywall and painting. The construction part of it was fine in general. When we got to the drywall part, and it was "finished" we had a fairly serious flaw / defect that made the entire project unsatisfactory. Talking with Justin at Puget Services, we was very responsive and just about as upset as we were over the problem. Together, we were able to come up with a solution that did not cost them a whole lot of money to re-do, and fully met our needs and expectations. In the end, the project came out stunning. And just a word about the team. The people that work for this company are the nicest, most professional "handy-men" that I have ever dealt with. So it is great when a company does everything right every time, but when you have an issue, and they can fix it and keep everyone happy, AND get a great review and a repeat customer, that is something great.

You get punished for trusting a person and trying to think good of him and giving more business, this is the irony of life. I apologized him in advance for the negative review and he thinks this is vengeance, but I am doing good for the rest of the people and saving their hard earned money.He took 400$ money as a deposit to buy stains for fence staining. He pressure washed the fence and got a small tin of sample stain after that he started stalling that he will come on so and so day and never came. I was patient and gave him a few days trying to understand and being considerate that he might be having some issues. I told my hubby that he will return since I trusted him, but he did not. At last I messaged him to either come and do the work or return the money so he said he cannot do it anymore and those 400$ were for the pressure washing that he did and that this is not how this works and will not return it. So I said come and complete the job since I didn't hire him to do just a pressure wash and spend it for nothing and he took the money for buying stains in the first place. All this was a part of the quote and there was no segregation given that 300$ will be pressure washing or 100 will be for sample stains etc. It is understood that when a deposit is given it is to complete the job.It is like you hire someone to install drawers and you give deposit to buy material and then the work starts and the existing drawers are removed and then the contractor won't return to complete the job he was hired for and then saying the money that was given to buy materials are their labor charges to uninstall the existing drawers and leaving the job undone. Please stay away from this guy. At least he should have completed the job.I don't know how they can sleep peacefully.

Everyday after his work got progressively worse till he finally exploded and started swearing about the job being too big. We took a break for a month and asked him to come back and inspect his work and fix the poor work and finish the rest of the job, he cancelled 15 minutes before the walk through. Threaten to file a lien if we did not pay him in full including the unfinished work. You would be making a huge mistake to hire him. I am happy to send the crazy text message exchange more photos of the terrible work. He sued in small claims court and got another 1500 dollars. Needless to say the $8,000 job will now cost $13,000 after the $5500 we paid him including the judgement which the split between our different perspectives. Call JP Drywall if you want a great job and an honest contractor.

I ordered some closet systems and they made sure everything would fit and installed everything, including assembly, patched up carpeting and made sure all the dry wall, moldings and etc looked polished. They were also very clean during their work, covering up the floors and surrounding areas, and made sure everything was cleaned up after the work was done. Jesus also removed all the boxes from the closet systems for me. I'm really happy with the end result and felt their pricing was fair and justified.
