Eagle Painting has done several extensive projects for us. The first one was in 2020 at the end of…read morea major remodel of a 4,000 sqft lake house. Doug Aichele and his team paid attention to every detail, carefully executing the entire project which had a large amount of trim and wainscoting. Both his inside and outside work were beautiful. The second project was in 2021 for a home that also had many archictectural moldings. Eagle Painting did the entire inside: walls, extensive wainscoting, windows and doors trim, staircases and fireplace mantels with the surrounding wood work. Again, the work was gorgeous. Recently, Eagle Painting worked on several smaller projects but Doug Aichele works with the same eye for detail! They completely restored an outside area along the entire south west side of the house that had been overgrown by a beautiful but vigorous climbing plant. The area looks fabulous. They also painted the front door and finished the trim after the replacement of French doors in another area. Doug Aichele also removed failing U-shaped weatherstrips under several doors, and re-installed the new weatherstrips under all of them. The services requested were always done to great satisfaction, Doug's responses and follow-up are always within a few days or hours. Their work is meticulous. I give them 5 stars.

Reno-O-Paint did a good job painting the interior of our house in December 2019. We gave them the…read morejob with the condition that they would also paint our house's exterior with a projected start date of September 2020. I started reaching out to them and finally got a projected start date of late Sept. 2020 at the end of July, 2020. As we got into the middle and late August, I tried to reach out to them again to get a firmer start date. After numerous attempts by me they finally responded in the second week of September that they would not be able to follow through with the late September start date. I was told they could do the job next Spring! They stated that due to CoVid they had laid off half their work force! I understand that CoVid has created huge effects in our personal lives and economy. However, I noticed that other companies are responding and continuing to take on work. Ren-O-Paint's decision and late communication with me forced me to immediately search and find a company willing to take on my house painting. Fortunately, I was able to succeed finding someone and will get my house painted when I wanted it done and not to Ren-O-Paint's schedule. I regret having to give this negative review of Ren-O-Paint not keeping their commitments, but so it is! Despite the crisis, other companies are able to make commitments and keep them!

I reached out to Jorge regarding a paint job for a rental property. I found him through Nextdoor,…read morewhere one of my neighbors hired him for a complete exterior paint job for a decent price. I contacted him and he cane out and gave me a verbal quote. I agreed and told him I was having floors replaced so I would need to have that completed first. He said if He did that part he could give me a price break, unfortunately his price was higher than the flooring company that I was using. So we set the date for after the floors were completed. Along the way i reached out regarding trim work and replacing doors to which he rarely answered the phone and preferred text. I would ask when he could start and his responses were hit and miss. Finally when we set a date, I reached out the day before and asked about items I was purchasing, and then asked him to send a final invoice (which he did not seem to want to provide) and when i gave him all the prices we discussed he mentioned an additional $500 or so for the paint. Now keep in mind when we initially discussed this project he said the price would only increase if I chose a color other than white. And he was giving me the price because it was because he would use the same color and sheen for the walls and baseboard. He decided in the end that he wanted more money and since he does not provide written estimates without repeatedly asking, he was able to change his price. Being that tine was running out I asked if he would honor his price and told him to cancel one item on the list because this was going to put me over budget. I asked if he would honor his original price, and from there he stopped responding. The next morning I called to see what the plans were since I had to schedule time off to have someone there for them, he did not respond to texts or my last call. In the end, I am fortunate I was able to experience this before the project started since it could've become very stressful. I do not recommend any company that does not provide written quotes and will change prices on a whim. Not to mention one that stops responding to a client that they've scheduled a job with.
