A leak that we are 100% sure was not there before. Our site technician checked it out that evening to find out it wasnt a small leak but a big one and stated that the seal had to be broken by them because it was brand new. I called Kodiak to tell them what I found out and they sent the same guy back only to tell me the same thing and acted like it had nothing to do with what he did! Not only did they send a quote for a ridiculous amount for the repairs(for a seal replacement!) but also charged a service fee for coming out to look at the damage they caused. Then threatened to put a lien on my property if I didnt pay the service call.

My father passed away 2 years ago and naturally this type service became out of sight out of mind when I didn't need it anymore. Recently, my 89 y/o mom stopped driving. Then I decided to call Apex Plumbing since I knew that's where it was purchased the last time. And they had some in stock! While I had Apex on the line, I asked if they had any recommendations on who might help us get it installed. They gave a couple of names and numbers and I called Drip Doctor as a result. DJ was very professional on the phone and quoted me a good price and said he was available the following morning. He had excellent communication and customer service skills. He arrived on time, switched out the hot water heaters, fixed the leak and left the work site clean. He also took the time to show my hubby how and when to drain it once a year. This will help get an optimal lifespan out of it. DJ gave us the paperwork that came with it and suggested we enter our details on their website for the warranty. They leave a large window of when they can come service, which will never work for those of us that work full time and can't wait at home for hours every single month for a pest service. Main issue is that after they sprayed, multiple of our large shrubs and trees started to die. Barely think that is a coincidence. I called and asked to cancel as this was a huge issue, and was told my a "senior representative" that this was normal. I repeated back that it's normal for plants in flower beds to die once Aptive sprays, and he told me that was a "personal political response". Still charged me $200 to cancel even though he flat out said it was expected for plants to die when any type of pesticide is used. False! I've had my house treated for years and that has never once happened. He was an absolute ass hole. This company is shady as hell. And please don't insult with a response, Aptive, unless you intend to refund my money.
