I can't stop raving about it and the extraordinary customer services they provide. Every time I go, I feel a wave of calm wash over me. Everyone working there greeted me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, making me feel right at home. My appointment today was for a manicure with Mary, and wow, as usual, I am truly impressed! She took her time to ensure everything was perfect, paying attention to every tiny detail. The quality of her work is simply outstanding--my nails have never looked better! The vibe at April Nail Spa is just incredible. The soft and soothing music. The soft and soothing music made for a truly relaxing experience truly relaxing experience. It was exactly what I needed to unwind and feel pampered. I left the spa feeling rejuvenated and with a big smile on my face. I didn't ask for the specifics, but it seemed like she either was texting or messaging someone directly, and was able to get us an appointment around the time when they were opening. We walked in at exactly our appointed time, and they had our seats waiting for us. They only had four employees at the time, and two of them were already assisting other customers, so my friend and I hopped into our seats to be assisted next,, while the hubby enjoyed the massage chair while he waited. This ended up being three manis and pedis, plus gels for all nails for the girls, and took around 1.75 hours because my friend was able to get some very cute hearts on top of the gels. Very, very thorough. They were able to clip my toe nails short and round, and did general maintenance on all nails/cuticles. The massages were great, too. Something that I really liked was that they try their best to not have the gel hit your skin; it's literally just a hair away from the skin at all directions. And the products they use were very good, as I haven't had any sort of skin reaction that I've had at other salons. The staff was hands-down amazing. They asked what we wanted, and they delivered every time. My friends' nails came out super-cute, and I'm very happy with mine. And the hubby's mani/pedi were possibly a little bit of a challenge (he has weird nails), but they got through it as much as they could. Would happily come back!!

I called to confirm, and a staff member assured me they accepted Giftly, so we went ahead and purchased the cards. In the third week of June, my in-laws tried to use the gift cards, but were told they weren't valid. It felt like a complete scam. I called again, and the response was indifferent they didn't seem concerned at all. I was frustrated, but tried to stay polite. How can a legitimate business allow this kind of confusion? If they don't accept Giftly, they should make that clear or take steps to remove or clarify the listing. And if someone else is misusing their business info, they should at least be aware of it. What's even more frustrating is that someone told me on the phone they did accept Giftly was that misinformation, or a misunderstanding? This situation caused unnecessary stress, and luckily we got the reimbursement for the credit card directly with Giftly. I hope Chi Nails takes better care to manage how their business is represented online and ensures their staff is better informed.

Alternate seating. Movable plexiglass which made sense as they would be easier to clean too. The nail technicians are very good here and I am always pleased with the results. After trying a couple of other places where they were less than stellar, I guess I should make an effort to travel back to New West to have my pedicure. I came into the salon as a walk-in customer around 2:30pm (their sign outside says they accept walk-ins, but I'd recommend calling to set an appointment just in case it gets busy, especially when it's near the holidays!) Their pamphlets are displayed outside by their door if you like to take a look at the services. No one was there at the time I arrived so they immediately sat me down and asked what I would like to do with my nails. I asked for gel nails with extensions. Do keep in mind they do have strong Vietnamese accents but they were easy to talk to! Process took about 30-40 minutes, ladies took their time to perfect the process of adding the nail extensions (they will ask what shape you like), applications of polish (you are given a basket full of nail colour samples), and finishing coat (matte or regular). Prices are acceptable and they do give you a stamp card by the time you're paying. My nails have been amazing after I had them done. No chips, breaking, or peeling. I'm coming back today to change colours as well. First photo is when I had them done after leaving the salon, and the second photo is from today before I head back to them to do a fill. (scheduled just in case walking in might not be good this time due to busy pre-holiday schedule). *new updated nails are the nude pink with glitter ring fingers!*

He ignored me and kept going. When I mentioned it a few nails later, he spoke in a different language to a coworker and they both laughed. I jokingly said "are you guys talking about me?" He said "yes. I said you don't like the colour and I said it's a bit late now hahaha." Humiliated, I started to cry. As I paid, clearly upset by the experience, I was asked what happened- when I explained I received no apology, and no understanding.
