Nice neighborhood beauty salon that does nails, facials and lash extensions. I have only had my…read morenails done here so my review will be based on that. They do great work with manis, I love the variety of design and the products they use. They really take the time to ensure that clients are happy with the result, so please expect your service to take around an hour long. They have a great selection of gel and shellac products and their techniques are great. With shellac it's so important to ensure the nails are primed correctly to avoid lifting and they really take their time to do all the proper steps. One comment is that I like my cuticles trimmed and clean and I feel like they could probably do a little more cuticle work on mine - it's just a personal preference though so it might be fine for some others. I had a pedicure here before but I prefer another place down the street for that because I like my heels super smooth and they only do manual exfoliation and no scraping. Once again this is a personal preference so if you like a more gentle pedicure I'm sure you will enjoy the services here! The owner and technicians are VERY friendly and accommodating - great customer service and you really feel like you are a valued customer. I'm going to try their lash extensions next so i will update my review afterwards!

Easy same day booking!! Very pleasant on the phone as well. Location is on Broadway right beside the BC Liquor store. I have probably walked passed this salon 1000 times and have just not noticed it. Well, now it's my new nail jam! "We Do Beauty" is an elegant and simple beauty salon. Very clean and quiet. Elegant jazzy music fills the salon and comfy sofa chairs with pillows for ultimate relaxation. No fancy massage chairs here but I really didn't miss them. The staff are very friendly, speak English lol, and will actually talk to you if you feel like chatting. I went for a gel mani-pedi combo. The ladies both made sure I was comfortable and plenty of time and care was taken to do my beauty treatments. I am very happy with the work done. It was not rushed at all like I find most salons are now days. Perfect nail work. I really appreciate that they are more concerned with your comfort than theirs. I had to tell one of the girls to grab a chair because I was worried about her back lol There is WiFi provided for you if you ask. They offer cold and hot water. My only complaint for this salon is that it's too cold!!!! Brrrrrrrr All the staff members were in sweaters lol. I mentioned it and they said it was always cold and they didn't have control of the heat. I mentioned buying a heat fish from Costco. When you come for your nail treatment this winter, bring a comfy sweater because you will need it!!! I will be back. Good work ladies!!!!!!!

They have just one nail tech, Nathan, who is an absolute gem. My mom and I went together for pedis so we had to get them done one at a time, but Nathan is so worth it! Lovely pedicures and he actually talks to you about any toe problems (e.g. ingrowns) and what you can be doing at home to help. Very friendly & funny, great attention to detail, and he suggested & did the most amazing ombre shellac on my toes, so as they grow out the new growth is not in such stark contrast to the polish. Loved loved loved, will be back.

Unfortunately today I got stuck with a new lady who clearly does not like her job. She gave me a speedy pedicure with no attention what so ever to dry or rough skin and left sloppy blue polish around many of my toes. She seemed to not understand that we all like to leave the salon with pretty polish and smooth feet. As for my manicure I had to remove the polish the moment I got home as it was way too thick and I needed to reshape my nails after her hatchet file job. I will never go back here again. Ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing self care treat.

I've been going to her consistently for the past six years, and she's the only person I trust with my nails. Jasmine is incredibly talented, precise, patient, and creative. She also has an IG account. One of the things I love most is how enjoyable the entire experience is. Her studio is comfortable and relaxing, and she has Netflix available so I can watch a movie while she works on my nails. If you're serious about having beautiful, high-quality nails and a manicurist who truly cares about her craft, I can't recommend Jasmine enough. She's an exceptional nail artist, and after six years as her client, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Wow! Terrible experience here today for my granddaughter. She called yesterday to ask how much they…read morecharge to remove shellac polish and was clearly told $15. She made an appointment for this afternoon and we headed downtown together. The woman who did the work seemed to rush through it and was, apparently, not very friendly or careful about the work. (I should say that my GD had removed most of the polish herself; it was just a little residual polish on the nails that needed removing.) The worker got the remaining bits of polish off quickly and did a haphazard filing of the nails, leaving them rough. I was right there and very surprised when the whole procedure was over in just a few minutes, but I guess if you're just removing polish it doesn't take long. When my GD went to pay she was charged $25. Unfortunately, due to her own inexperience, she had handed over payment before I got to the till and hadn't seen the amount, but my GD pointed it out to me. I asked why it was $25 when she'd been told $15, and the operator who had done the job turned and spoke in Vietnamese to another woman there (possibly owner/manager). They exchanged words but no explanation was given to us. She proceeded to give my GD change for the $25 charge, and I asked again "Why is she being charged $25 when she was clearly told $15?" I couldn't believe it when the woman completely ignored me, did not look at me or GD, turned her back and walked away! Wow! Way to run a business! Overcharge your customer then refuse to provide an explanation and just turn your back and walk away! My granddaughter was distressed (it was her own money) but didn't want to make any more of it. Well, short of yelling at the fast-retreating woman what COULD we do? We were flabbergasted at such rude, disrespectful and dishonest behaviour. I guess all we can do is warn other people to avoid this clip joint. (hahaha "clip joint" in more ways than one!) The place was also messy, chaotic and very disorganized with a strong odour of "products" in the air. With so many nail salons in Vancouver I'm sure there are many that treat their customers with respect, honour their stated prices and do a good and honest job. Unlike Sassy on Davie. AVOID!!!
