Call to get a appointment in advance! They have a Instagram with great designs and styles to review prior to choosing a shape or design. Great service and fair prices. Bonus if you pay in cash. The last three fills I got all seems to not last. It was acrylic fill and gel polish. I love the colors but wish the fill itself wouldn't chip or crack. The chrome polish only lasted 5 days. Came here for a fill and my experience was meh. I had the owner, An? who helped me did a quick fill. He examined all fingers before he began work on it. We didn't make any small talk which was fine. My pinky's acrylic broke so he used a fake nail to dig underneath the acrylics and pulled it up. This was extremely painful as anyone who has gotten acrylics before KNOW that the nail tech should NOT do that. I winced and sat there quietly in pain. He did my fills SUPER quick (I think in less than 30 minutes). He only put one top coat on vs. 2-3 like the other salons that I've been to in the past. When I was all done, I noticed there were black/gray marks on the side of my middle finger. The job is extremely snoppy and I left very unhappy. He didn't even say bye or thank you. After living in the area for over 5 years, believe me when I tell you I've tried MANY nail salons. Nothing is more irritating than having to tell your nail artist to fix the polish in the cuticle, even out the gel polish application, straighten out the nail lengths (um like really??) and on top of it pay an ARM AND A LEG for the job because let's be real, it's pricey in the bay area! Disappointment after disappointment left me giving up on finding the perfect salon. Keep in mind, I was just a simple nail girl too, a single color gel mani was all I needed! Then I saw a bartender at a restaurant with the most fabulous nails and I asked her where she got her's done and she gave me the salon name Alpha Nails. I immediately looked them up and booked an appointment and I've never looked back! Now I'm ALL about the nail art!!! I'm addicted to it because there is NOTHING An can't do. Every picture of inspiration I give him, he delivers and I'm always SO happy with the results. He and his wife are the cutest pairing, she helps grab colors and they analyze the pics together to get the perfect outcome. I haven't been having much luck with at nail salons in Daly City so I decided to give this place a try after reading positive reviews on yelp. I had an appointment and was seated right away upon arrival. Philip was the nail tech that did my gel mani. He was pleasant and friendly. He patiently removed my old gel and took his time to clean my cuticles. I really liked how clean the salon was, you can see employees taking and sanitizing tools in their machine. Looking forward to coming back and doing the mani and pedi combo so I can sit in the comfy massage chairs! UPDATE:: came back for a mani and pedi combo and it was worth every minute!!! Definitely a relaxing for yourself! I really like my nail tech this time, her name was "Mari", love how the shape came out. Omg I'm obsessed with my nails. The service was amazing, they took their time working on both my gel extensions and my pedicure. It's been a while since I walked out of a nail salon in love with both my set and pedicure. Also, not only did they take their time, but they were so gentle with my nails. My nails are extremely sensitive because I have thin nails and they were so gentle that I didn't feel any pain. I dropped in on a Wednesday, mid-morning, and was lucky enough to be tended to right away. I was going on a trip and needed a bit of pampering so I opted for the gel mani & pedicure package. The tech who did my pedicure was a bit rough, but overall did a fantastic job. My gel mani was done by the owner's sister and she was very diligent and patient. She shaped my nails perfectly and carefully ensured the paint covered each nail entirely. This family owned salon is keen, inviting, and clean. It's been 2 weeks since my visit and my pedicure and gel mani are still in great shape. I'll be paying more visits to Alpha Nails, that's for sure! read more

Let me start off by saying how clean and organized this place is! All the nail polishes are labeled by number. They also put up a chart of different nail shapes which was cool. I didn't know their were so many different shapes. I got an acrylic fill from AN (@nailsbyguy on IG) HE is the only guy that works there and does acyclic nails. He does appointment only, so call or message him on IG. They also do gel walk ins, but that's the other ladies. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he did exactly that! He took his time doing my nails and shaping them, he even pushed down my cuticles and cut them so he can paint as close to my cuticles as he can. He even has a vacuum that sucks up the acyclic dust WHILE he is working on me. read more

So glad to have cross paths with Alpha Nails!! My girlfriend recommended this spot to me after a horrible incident with a local salon owner. (That's not here nor there). Anyways, An and his stuff are literally some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are family owned and I love that. An and his sister Marie both are nail tech masters. I've had them both do pedis and manis on me and I've always left there very satisfied. The front desk girl Nikkie is also always so sweet and pleasant. I ran late today for my appt (gotta love Bay traffic) and she was so kind, telling me to still come in and that they are waiting for me. Like seriously, when have you ever heard that on a Friday night at a nail shop? They never over book and book accordingly to each guest to ensure proper accommodations. Exactly what a salon/spa should do. Salon is super clean and they possibly have the BEST pedi spa chairs I have ever sat on. I look forward to going there every 2-3 weeks and make sure to book my next appt in advance, they get busy. Have only been here once, but they did a great job. The place is clean and the tools came out of a sanitized bag. The technician was nice, careful, and detail oriented with my gel manicure. I brought an inspiration photo and she found the right color immediately. She did a great job on the nail art, too (and the process was great-- she brought out options based on the photo I had shown her and double checked what I wanted). Opened 6 months ago. Cute little spot on El Camino in Millbrae. Friendly staff. Came here for my 930 am appointment for paraffin pedicure and regular manicure on Saturday morning. Called a couple days ago and that was the only available morning appointment. This place is clean, great massage chairs, and part of the Healthy Nails program, which is a plus for me! The selection of nail polish could be better but I'm not too picky about colors. Price is average. Love the heated wrap around my neck. Con: only 1 hour street parking outside. Across the street is 2 hour parking. Hannah was very nice and friendly. She did a good job on my nails. Will definitely come back here to get my nails done! read more

I scheduled and appointment at alpha nails , they got started right away I brought my own gel nail polish but they used a shellac which is a harder clear gel polish on my hands. The pedi I chose was 35$ and some how it became $45 . I got a regular mani. They didn't Trim my cuticles , or dry skin around nails or toes . They used a drill to take off the gel on my already thin nails which made them extremely sore, and did a sloppy paint job missing the sides completely.I was charged $100 which seems like a rip off since they pretty much only did a color change with the gel nail polish I brought. Being the nice person I am I still tipped even though I regret it. The customer service was very poor, and the shop was a bit dirty and unorganized. I wouldn't recommend this place due to my experience. read more

After moving back from San Diego I was looking for a reasonably priced nail salon that was clean friendly and wouldn't rush through their process. I can say alpha nails definitely pulled through. Ambiance: When I walked in the first thing I noticed it didn't smell like all the other nail salons. I could actually breathe. I was welcomed when I walked in and all the colors were nicely organized and they have wheels of gel colors. I then sat down and noticed the station was clean and prepped with tools in their sanitizer bags. The music was nice and I just felt so relaxed. The only thing I found odd was how close the manicure stations are. I think the salon is a little small so they needed to squeeze in between. But regardless I sat next to a very nice lady so all around good vibes. Service: I had a nice woman take care of my nails and she did listen to what I needed because I have to keep my index finger and thumb shorter because I need to take my contacts off. Not a lot of stores to chrome and I just wanted something little and didn't get charged an arm and a leg for it. I loved the color. I loved my service and I'm looking forward to my pedicure this Saturday. Also if you're sensitive like me and don't like when other salons rip off your acrylic nails just ask An for a different way that doesn't make you want to cry! They can shave off the nail instead of ripping it off. Tips: Don't forget to make an appointment as the book up fast and don't be upset when they don't have the time to take a walk in. Just call! This nail salon is just superb. My sister had been recommending An because she used to be a customer when he was at a different salon. She HAD to follow him to Alpha, and I'm so glad she did! They have such high quality service! Everything is extremely clean and organized. They're also a part of the Healthy Nail Salon Program which is a nice bonus! They are the absolute best nail spot in the peninsula! I've gone to this place several times now for pedicures and gel builder - they truly never disappoint! They are always prompt on responding to texts, I'm always greeted so warmly, and I never have to wait! They have good covid safety protocols which makes me feel safe while I'm there. My nail shape is always on point and they have a great selection of colors to choose from too! It was an unassuming nail salon on ECR, but I wanted to try it out since I was looking for a convenient and reliable "go-to" spot in my new hood. The salon was clean and pleasant, and Guy and his family who run it are very kind and talented.
