His estimate for replacing an existing camera system was competitive and he was honest about his recommendations; I definitely did not feel there was any upselling. The install wasn't a breeze as Time Warner's modem and service created some issues. However, Mark spent a good part of the day troubleshooting the issues and ensured the install was complete and working before taking off. Mark also made himself available when I contacted him about a technical glitch and took the time to clarify some of the features of the camera system. I cannot say enough good things about Mark and Alonso Audio Solutions. He and his assistant Juan are wonderful. Mark has helped with mounting our TVs, Ring doorbell system, as well as several other technical issues, including installation of a new ceiling fan/light. He works at a problem til he figures it out. I had a door bell what wasn't working with my Ring system, and he finally figured it all out. He has been to my home several times and is always prompt and extremely clean, neat and tidy while he and his assistant work, leaving our home just as he found it. Came out to residence and tried to make existing installation work (aka my DIY antenna) and then later came with a pole and a better antenna still no luck only charged for the first service call $25. Now know for sure that I'm in a poor signal reception area from Mt. Wilson (hilly sections of Sylmar). Asked if he wanted to reschedule since the weather wasn't too good, but still tried. Gotta give em credit for that. When TV stations start doing something like the radio stations and simulcasting (other transmitters in other locations other than Mt. Wilson) to get the bad signal areas then I'd have them come out and do an installation. read more

Mark installed a sound system for my backyard (4 speakers, a sub-woofer and a receiver). When Mark showed up to review and quote me for the job, he fully explained all of my options with respect to electronics choices, sound quality, speaker placement and bang for my buck. His price to do the whole job, was at least 15% lower than the others who quoted the job and was a really nice and professional guy as well. On installation day, he arrived with a helper and they did an excellent job burying wires, installing and setting up my system. A few days later I decided to move one of the speakers and he quickly came out and did the job. I am more than satisfied with Mark's work and I have a few other upcoming projects that I will definitely use him for. Professional, on time and very knowledgable. Marc and his crew know what they're doing. I had 8 cameras installed around the perimeter of my home and inside. The install went very smooth and everything looks super clean and very professional. I also had clocks and a projector wired through my walls and a set of wall clocks. All of the components are perfectly balanced and well mounted and the electrical outlets look super professional as if they were put in when the home was built. This is the second time I needed Mark's professional service. The first time I needed a T.V. hung on a fireplace and the wires to go through the attic to connect my service. This time we needed Mark to provide cable access to different rooms downstairs without having any exposed wires inside or along the outside walls. He worked really hard going from the attic to the first floor making only small cutouts in the drywall. Before he left he had patched all the cutouts and left the house nice and clean. My tv system was in shambles. Nothing was working right and I was very frustrated. It's a pretty complicated system with cable, dvd, security cameras, apple tv and even a foreign channel box and Mark straightened everything out. It's all smooth sailing now.
