Aloha Tans has a bunch of custom branded pens, chapsticks, stickers, and "follow us on instagram" posters, but one big thing they're missing? Good tanning beds.
The staffer working here in the middle of the day on a Friday (couldn't have been older than 14-15 years old...shouldn't she have been in school?) directed me to the lowest power bed of the three varieties offered. She then recommended I take 2/3 of the full time for the session. Despite my ability to tan without burning, and my telling her this was far from my first rodeo, she wouldn't have it. Needless to say, I came out 8 minutes later with nothing to show for the $25 I plunked down. Useless would be an understatement.

2 - Not a huge deal, but there were no coat hangers/hooks in my room. Not sure if that's the case for all of the rooms, but where are you supposed to hang your stuff?
They do have tons of Instagram and Facebook posters all around though, and those are probably the only thing here in pristine condition. With the poor quality of the beds and staff, and the condition this place is in, I'm not sure what Aloha Tans is actually expecting people to think when they come here... read more
