Many times shes the one asking if she could go even when her two brothers are not with her. She loves the incentives. They definitely keep her motivated. My kids go to Stemtree afterschool and they do homework, enrichment such as math and English, then Stem hands on activities such as science, making light up lantern (physic), make crystals (chemistry), slime, 3d printing, build legos that move, code (robotics) and more. The stem portion is very structured and organized with different activities planned out each week. Kids will move between different modules. My kids don't particularly have strong interest in stem initially but I choose Stemtree for exposure to science and hands on activity to build creativity. Also they try to prepare kids for future and just started testing reading comprehension with Star test for their AR level monthly. My school does Star AR test quarterly, but it's nice to have it monthly here to see the progress, help them see results and also improve on test taking skills. During the last school holiday (no school) they have a Columbus theme day where kids builds boats and have a competition of see who's boat floats the best in water and kids got prizes.
