This of course rendered negligible improvements. I say this with confidence, AEA Academy is by far the most effective tutoring center we have tried out. The tutors here have the ability to comprehensively cover an entire school year's worth of material in two months. In addition to their speedy yet effective curriculum plan, the staff here hold high regard for and subsequently, improve student versatility outside of academics. From personal experience, AEA changes the way a student may view challenges from the classroom to their everyday lives. Speaking as someone who does not typically go out of their way to build a relationship, the simple things like everyday conversations and occasional guidance has taught me patience. This may seem odd, but due to the methods that the teachers here use, such as the integration of casual conversation into studies, I have felt a dissipation of my long-lasting sense of education being a burden. And from the rubble of my previous perceptions of tutoring, came an increased appreciation for the process of learning and an increased will to learn. Something I would have never expected to attribute from taking tutoring classes. I highly recommend AEA, you will be surprised what you can learn.

There are things about this business that aren't bad at all. The teachers were kind and friendly.They sell snacks to the kids so they don't get hungry, too. And their tutoring is very helpful. My tutoring would be the reason my math grade was a perfect 100. School-Connection has clean restrooms(a separate one for boys and another for girls) and a large tutoring area. They have pick-up services from schools for $5 a day and a summer-school program with fun field trips every Friday. The tutors even looked over homework and helped the students study for upcoming tests and quizzes. However, there are some downsides to this place. School-Connection tuition is pretty expensive though. Also, the extra packet work they gave us was a lot, especially for the older kids. I admit that this extra work has helped me in school, but sometimes I just didn't have enough time or energy to do them. Overall, I would say School-Connection is a pretty great place. I spent so much time there that it practically became my second home.

Over the years, none of my concerns were addressed by management. This includes the placement of a candy box in reception that kids can purchase unhealthy snacks from before and after class. In this day and age, it serves no purpose except so this company can generate additional income and to promote obesity among children. I also asked that my daughter be provided the recital trophy which I had paid for and which she never received. We never saw the trophy. After Covid, classes became online which was not a good fit for my child. I asked for in person classes and she tried 2 different instructors who she barely understand as English was not their first language. As a parent, It was awful sitting through the classes, watching these teachers lack of any warmth, rapport, or sort of engagement with my child. And even worse, my child did what the asked of her and when she asked a question, the teacher flat out dismissed her. My child hated piano and music after working with these instructors for a month, and she had been playing for 3 years. I reached out to management twice and my concerns regarding these instructors were never addressed. I was told the director is out of the country. Grace the manger was useless. Melissa in the office was also not helpful. I am so incredibly disappointed in Yamaha. This market is too competitive to deal with Yamaha--save your money and go else where--Music is really meant to be joyous.
