It was a quick decision, but we were glad to give Ivy Leaf a try. Everyday my daughter told me how much fun she enjoyed her new school. During the course of the camp, she did some really fun projects such as making rocket, making ice cream, creating movies with green screen, mason jar crafts, and planting seeds to name a few that are memorable to me. Not to mention the class is small so that each student gets tons of 1-1 attentions. I am all for learning while having fun and that's exactly what you're getting here at Ivy Leaf. The teachers are nice and personal. My daughter literally cried a few times after camp was over because she missed her teacher so much. I think that says a lot. She just graduated from elementary school this year, and looking back over the past six years, I couldn't be happier with our experience. She made many great friends, learned a lot, and has always done well in school. Besides helping students with their homework, Iducation also offers many enrichment classes. What I appreciate the most is that whenever my child had any learning or personal challenges, the staff always listened carefully, communicated with us, and worked hard to find the best solution. I know they have many students and can't meet every request perfectly, but you can truly see that they care and do their best. Over the past six years, my daughter has grown not only academically but also socially and personally. As a parent, that's exactly what I hoped for when choosing an after-school program. However, for younger children who need a healthy balance of learning and movement, this was a disappointing experience. My child described long, sedentary blocks of homework and quiet reading, followed by an additional hour of academic packets, with no outdoor or active playtime until 5:30 PM. The environment felt cramped with about 16 kids in one room. When I politely tried to discuss the schedule and supervision, the owners took offense and told us we were no longer welcome rather than addressing the concern or looking for a solution. There is no room for questions or parent input here.
