This is the best Hawaiian food that we have had outside of Hawaii. We have had Hawaiian food all over the Us and this place is fantastic. Everything is homemade and just hits the spot. The salmon salad had super crunchy fresh lettuce, edamame and perfect cucumbers. The katsu chicken is cooked perfectly and it's obvious it's hand breaded. The masubi has the best seaweed (tastes like Maui gas station masubi). The macaroni salad is super authentic (not sweet, like chain restaurants). This is my new favorite local spot!!!! read more

Don't be deceived by the pictures and in small print under the menu it says pictures may not be what you get. I ordered, teriyaki chicken, was supposed to be with fried rice, broccoli and greens. Best meal out I have had in quite a while. My friend, her roommate and I went to a Hawaiian BBQ restaurant yesterday afternoon and it was AMAZING. We got chicken teriyaki, a combo of kalua pork and katsu chicken, and beef and roasted chicken and we shared some Spam musubi. They all came with fried rice (or white rice but we all picked fried), a scoop of macaroni salad and cabbage and broccoli. Everything was amazing. The biggest winners were the pork and the beef. The pork was bursting with flavor and the beef was melt in your mouth tender. We loved the spam musubi too. Macaroni salad was also to die for, and that's not something I would normally eat. We stopped by after seeing a friend's review on Facebook. It was a busy time of day and the place is small but the staff were friendly and professional so they handled the rush very well. We took our food home because seating is limited but the ambience is great inside. I ordered the kalua pork combo with katsu chicken, my husband got the chicken combo and we shared the spam musubi. My daughter recommended this place and it was well deserved. We went on Sunday around noon. Super crowded but the owner was so gracious in thanking everyone for coming in and showing patience. I'm so glad I happened to notice this new business the other day! We decided to try it out for lunch and were not disappointed. We got the Aloha BBQ mix and a side of potstickers and the portions were generous for the 2 of us to share. The BBQ came with rice, steamed vegetables, and macaroni salad. I was so excited to surprise my husband with this place when I heard about it. I called when I was on my way and it was ready when I walked in! Fast service. The chicken katsu was perfect and just like it should be. The quantity of meat was great too! First thing that I want to say is that I'm so thrilled to have an Hawaiian restaurant in the area. It's been almost 2 years since I've had it, since we moved here from Washington state. The food was very good, I had the Loco Moco. It was good. I had only 2 small criticisms on it. First, a little more gravy to help cover some of the rice. Second, the macaroni salad had a very heavy garlic flavor. I've had Hawaiian macaroni salad many times, in Hawaii and when some of my Hawaiian coworkers would make it at work, and it didn't have as much garlic in it. It was good, it was just that the garlic was a little strong. Also a suggestion to the restaurant, when you box up the meal, put the macaroni salad in a separate container. Mine was warm when I got home. I'm sure it was because it was in with the rice and hamburger and that's why it was warm. The service was very good. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in. Cashier was very friendly. Overall it was very good. I will be going back. BTW the teriyaki sauce was amazing. read more
