Excuse me if I got his name wrong, but I believe Justin helped me and he was awesome. I'm familiar…read morewith pre-workouts and creatine and needed to restock since I ran low (normally I order online but procrastinated). Justin made me feel comfortable right away and really listened to what I wanted. I told him I wanted a pre-workout that would help me cut and that I can handle 200mg+ of caffeine. He recommended OxyShred Hardcore--and wow. I used it at the gym and had clean, focused energy. After leg day, I usually struggle through cardio, but I was able to sprint 30 seconds on and off instead of just walking on an incline. My mental focus was noticeably better and I got through my workout way more efficiently. He also recommended a women's creatine with collagen and biotin, which I didn't even know existed! I haven't tried it yet since I still have some left. He even threw in a sample of BioHealth Precision ISO protein in strawberry shortcake--SO good and super light. I'll definitely be buying it next time. Great place for all your supplement needs. The Ala Moana area can be busy, but it's totally worth it. You can park at the Pan Am building and they validate

Pro tip: they do $1 energy drink sales pretty often--limit 6 per customer. Sign up for their text alerts and they'll give you the heads-up on all up coming sales. That's when you go full squirrel mode and stock up. Trust me, it will save you a ton of $$. Overall, solid place. Good deals, friendly people, and enough protein options to make your blender cry. So I asked my coworkers where they buy their supplements at because they lift weights too and they told me to go check out Designer Body down on Cooke St. As soon as I walked in the door the clerk (I forgot his name, cause I'm so bad with names smfh) greeted me and asked what I was looking for, so I explained that I was just looking for supplements that will help with recovery after lifting weights, cause I have no idea what to buy. He was very knowledgeable with all their products and suggested that my son starts with a protein shake and multivitamins. I will definitely be back for more supplements and I highly recommend Designer Body to get your supplements too. Mahalo

Just really disappointed. It was running a little late and other GNCs were about to close at 7, but…read moreI noticed Google said this GNC was open til 8. I got here and parked right outside at just about 7, and the lights were dimmed and the door was closed and locked. There was no sign on the door about any sort of emergency closure or anything for the day, and in fact there was a young employee who was still in there and I know he saw me and he quickly scurried into the back probably to not have to reopen and help me out. I even called the store directly while I was standing outside to see if he'd answer the phone and he just let it ring. I get it Google store hours can sometimes be wrong due to lack of update but even the physical store hour sign says 8pm. And it's not like I showed up 5 minutes before closed, I was there a whole hour before posted closing. It was a waste of my time and gas money to have to deal with this, and I just want the owner of this shop to be aware of employees potentially taking advantage by closing up shop before they should. I was looking to spend about $150 this trip and that's a sale that just doesn't happen when employees don't open the door for customers despite the posted hours.
