She explained everything she was doing and I could sense the power of her actions. I can already feel the results. I would recommend her whether you've done shamanic journeying before or are completely new to it. It's an incredible form of medicine, similar to other types of energy work I've gotten but with a deeper sense of connection to unseen forces. Shardai works out of a cute little space in Manitou Springs. The only downside is the parking but if you go earlier in the day it's easier to get a spot. Or you can catch the free shuttle. She also offers discounts for multiple sessions, and something called raindrop therapy using essential oils which I want to check out next time I see her.

The space that she holds for one is so beautiful and holy, a place to remember yourself as a sacred being, returning back to who you truly are in this life. Waking up to our Magnificent Selves and realizing this Earth walk is our walk home, even though it may seem so difficult & unfair at times. It's for the highest good of all. I am eternally grateful to Shardai and the wonderful healings that she offers. I recommend her to anyone that is looking for a safe space to be held, just as you are. In love and gratitude, Joy Cameron

I have been seeing Gailla for about a year and a half now, and I have to be honest when I say she…read moreis THE BEST COLON HYDROTHERAPIST out there. I started going to Gailla when I was in desperate straights, and due to her treatment, not only did things get back in order, I also had my life saved (see below). Gailla takes time to educate you, to get to know your history, and turns something that could be very uncomfortable or embarrassing into something as natural as anything. This is not a "Here's the hose and some water, good luck!" kind of place. Gailla has 26 years under her belt, and is a true professional. As I alluded to above, when I first went to see her, I had been bed-bound for nearly 3 months with a back injury, and the medication they'd had me on left me so stopped up that I knew I had to do something, or I was going to end up in the hospital (and I didn't like the way the hospital deals with things like this). I had seen her website, but was unsure I could endure the trip due to the distance from Kona with my back being so sore. Nonetheless, I reached a breaking point one morning, and I had my husband call her. She heard what was going on, and immediately fit me into her schedule; my husband drove me there with the back of the car folded down so I could lie down the whole time. Gailla made special accommodations for me when I first arrived, and did a full intake before we even started the process. Not only did I receive a TON of education (and continue to do so) from her, but I got some immediate relief. It took a month or so of seeing her a couple of times a week to get my colon back in order, before we lengthened the times in between treatments, since things were improving. However, during one of the visits (since Gailla is monitoring what comes out through a clear spot in the tube), she noticed some blood in my stool, and asked me whether I'd had any history of that. I shared with her that I'd been ignored by the doctors for years about it, because I was so young. She very strongly encouraged me to see my doctor and get a colonoscopy, since we needed to be sure that it was not cancer. Blood is NEVER a good sign in stool, but other typical colon issues that can include blood symptoms can actually be treated well by colonics, but we needed to know what we were dealing with; cancer isn't something she is permitted to treat (and she didn't want me taking any chances with anything that could be wrong!). In any case, at her urging, I insisted my new doctor give me a test, which then led me to a colonoscopy, which then led them to discovering and removing a cancerous tumor in my colon. However, it was so small that we caught it before it had spread anywhere else! If Gailla had not been behind me to get this thing done, I am not sure I would have been able to press my new doctor to get the test done. She truly saved my life. On top of that, the relief of the back-up due to the pain meds, and the cleaning of my colon so that it can do its job as a healthy part of the immune system sped the healing of my back up 100-fold. About a month after I started seeing her, I was fully off of all of my pain meds and was walking again; her treatments were a key part in my recovery. Needless to say, although I only see Gailla now every 3-6 months, I trust her advice and guidance, and could not recommend anyone as highly as I do her.... Don't be embarrassed or scared. Gailla will make you feel comfortable, and will educate you and take care of you. Thank you, Gailla, for all that you do!

I have had orthopedic surgery here, been treated in the E.R. and another time had an extended stay…read moredue to a toxic response to a medication. I thought my care was excellent. Many of the RNs are traveling and maybe only here for a few months. So I felt the care was very well-rounded since they bring their skills, experience and expertise from other hospitals around the country. I also felt the full-time long-term providers were excellent. The food is exceptional and plant based options are always available. My wait in the ER was never more than 35 minutes, except when coming in by ambulance. In those cases, no wait at all. The facilities are dated in some ways, but not so when it comes to equipment - X-ray, MRIs, etc , all in good condition. I had 2 MRIs there actually. Went well.

My brother was recently admitted to this facility. He was diagnosed last week with pancreatic…read morecancer . His blood pressure upon admission was 80/42. He was severely dehydrated. He was there 4 days getting IV hydration . Doctor response took a long time . We asked if someone was assisting him walk around the hall to keep his strength up . The staff said yes , he said no . Staff said he just did not remember . We have access to his chart . No notes about walking . We asked several times for someone to assist him to shower. 4 days no shower . His B/P improved and he was able to be discharged. 4 days in bed only assistance was to bathroom. No physical activity, no shower , nothing . Unfortunately they are the only show in town . If they paid our local nurses what they pay traveling nurses to fill in we might have a well staffed caring facility. His diet was not conducive to his difficulty with digestion. It seems there was no continuity of care . The oncologist could not take the time to come see him while he was there . That would be to convenient. He will have to come back up to same location next week for oncology consult . No patient advocate came in as we requested . The social worker came in and asked what he wanted to do without checking with the family or making sure there was care giving set up prior to discharge ! He lives alone . Just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer . We count on the "care givers" to coordinate and recommend the "next step" nothing . Luckily he has family to help . We have never been down this road . We needed information as well . As much as we asked we got nothing . We called hospice . We got the appointment for him next week . We got transportation arranged . We researched care needed . Diet conducive to his diagnosis. Lucky he has our mom and strong sisters !!! We really feel we are on our own . You are your own advocate. Unfortunately he does not know the questions to ask or really what he has or what to expect . He is not a druggy or street person . He is an adult that needs good medical care .
