Anyway, I was warmly greeted by Maria at the entrance of her studio. When I stepped into the massage room was I was immediately impressed by its spaciousness, tranquility, soothing music, and the relaxing aroma of lavender and sandlewood. As I lay on the massage table face down, I also noticed the Maria had placed other relaxing aromatherapy oils on the part of the massage table that held me face. To make a long story short, the 90 minute massage I received was "outstanding." She provided me with a Swedish Massage combined with Deep Tissue in the specific areas I requested. The massage also included stretches which tested and expanded my range of motion. Overally the massage was both relaxing and therapeutic. I left with a deep sense of calm and serenity, and I can honestly say that I had the best nights sleep that I have had in weeks! As an added bonus, Maria later emailed me with feedback on my range of motion, and the degree and location of any tightness in my muscles. She recommended regular stretching to improve the problem areas she spotted. I would highly recommend Maria's services. I have been to massage therapists around the world including in Europe and Asia and there is no doubt in my mind that she is an expert at her craft. If that isnt' enough, her rates are extemely reasonable even for a mediocre massage therapist---which she is not!
