Isis is a true Aloha spirit and has variety of fine tuned professional skills to customize your treatment based massage. I had enquired about the modality of lomi-lomi which she effortlessly incorporated into my deep tissue massage session. She has the capacity to rythmically swim across your body and then delve vigorously to the areas of tension needed. Perfect blend of relaxation and therapeutic massage! I loved the combination of hot stones, hot towels, and heating pad! Isis has an innate sense of humanity and I appreciated her conversations pre and post treatment. She is a true gem! My body feels whole again and I can't wait to return to Pahoa/Puna to visit her again! PS check out the beautiful vibrant colored paintings in the oasis like space!

Make sure to tip them well because they deserve every penny! **Cash Only/No Credit Card payments** Visit: Weekday Rating: 8.4/10 My gf and I were visiting Hilo for the day and after a lot of driving and shopping activities we were in need of a relaxing massage. After viewing a number of alternatives, we called Awakening and they were able to fit us in for a last minute 90 minute session. It's located on the upper floor of an office building and is a low key hidden gem. Nothing fancy. However, the therapists we had were top notch. I've literally had 100+ massages and they're definitely in the top quartile in regards to technique/style/overall effectiveness. The fact that they are notably cheaper is even better! Do it.

She is proficient in a number of different massage styles. She can find all those little knots, pressure points, spots that need to be worked on; and focus on them.
