I would love to write them on their food, but they never showed up to my work. They were scheduled to be here from 10:30 AM to 2 PM. Tonight I went to one of their events at a bar in Grove city. I was pretty excited because they were advertising $2 buns on their social media for the event and I was planning on getting one of every type since they are usually $4 a piece and I only get one or two due to the price. When I arrived, they informed me that No they were not doing that even though it was on their instagram and Facebook and had been all weekend(and currently still was). Tasty fresh food with lots of flavor and very nice people with quick service! We had the Hawaiian bbq buns with chicken at Seventh Son last night- the buns are steamed and then fried which is the first time I had one like that but it was good! The surfers loaded fries were really loaded with pork and topped with siracha mayo and bbq sauce, but not too spicy for me. I tried the pineapple bun with spam. Two for 7.75 or you can get one with fries for the same price. I liked it...everything seemed to go well together...the pineapple...the spam...the Sriracha mayo...on a little Hawaiian bun. I thought it could have used more mayo but that did make it easier to eat while walking around. It just wasn't overwhelming to me. Good but nothing I would go searching for. Hit them up at the Commons while at a show. The wait was absolutely ridiculous. Part of this was that there were too many people and not enough food options. The other part was on them. It was a full 30 minute wait to get our food, or this would be a 5 star review. There was one person taking orders and one cooking. I've never seen a wait like that at a food truck. Where has this place been all my life? I was lucky enough to try out Aloha when they came to my office for lunch. I don't eat pork so I can't speak for those options but I was super excited that they did have non-pig options. I got the pineapple bun and the peanut one and they were like little buttery, crunchy, flavorful gifts from the Hawaiian gods. Because I always have to try one of everything, I also got the loaded fries and they were just fantastic. The fries were just your average potato sticks but then doused in some sort of sesame sauce, peanuts, cilantro and a spicy sauce. I would eat this everyday if it was socially acceptable. read more

We loved the pork belly. No moco Loco was served in a Chinese take out box and was filled with goodness. We follow the truck on social media and love all of the daily specials and new dishes offered. I was lucky enough to get to try this food truck at Seventh Son brewing and it was a wonderful experience. Their pork buns are nothing short of miraculous and went great with the beer from the brewery. You have to order through a QR code on a sign but everyone in the truck was friendly and explained this when I didn't get it at first. It did take a long time to get the food but that was because i think there were probably 20 people ahead of us. It's that good. I have a friend who follows this truck specifically. read more

I'm very disappointed with Aloha for double booking my wedding with another event. They decided to cancel on us 1 month before our wedding. Our invites have already been sent and nearly half of our guests are expecting and looking forward to Aloha coming. They signed a contract with us and decided 30 DAYS from the wedding day to let us know they double booked. They offered to find us another food truck and give us a plate of buns at 25% off and give us back our deposit but none of that will change the fact that they backed out of their agreement with us. One of the best food trucks we've had in Columbus! Pork buns were excellent. The pork was cooked perfectly. I don't even know what else to say other than that they were phenomenal. Terrible customer service. After two failed attempts for a neighborhood stop, we went for a third and all seemed promising until just before the event. Facebook and Street food finder had the event scheduled until just before the arrival time and then it disappeared with a no call no show. Sara and her food were the one bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming wine bar. Now back safely in her truck, her food an personality can shine! When it comes to ordering, I suggest the Sir-Mix-a-Lot method: don't want none unless you got buns, hon! The light and fluffy steamed buns are flash fried to give them a sweet, crunchy crust while remaining soft and fluffy inside. It's like a high-end mattress for chicken and pineapple! Stopped by Aloha today, which was parked across from City Hall at Gay and Front Streets. They serve small slider-sized sandwiches, served on delicious, buttery buns with various "insides" - spam, pineapple, pork belly, pork, chicken, etc. Since I only needed a small pick-me-up, I got the pineapple-spam slider - grilled pineapple, spam, and sriracha mayo on that buttery little bun, Very tasty, with the sriracha providing enough heat to cut the sweet. One of my favorite food trucks in the C-bus. I'm lucky to have them come to our office every month but I can always find them every Friday at 7th Son on North Fourth in the evenings. The food is always delicious and fresh. The buns are delicious! The kalua pork taste as if it just came out of the imu: juicy, tender, melting, and the perfect saltiness. The bread, never too sweet is fluffy and renders the perfect balance to the pork. The pork belly bun is spectacular, also perfectly balanced: sweet, salty, fatty and meaty; topped beautifully with cilantro, a sweet hoisin sauce and spicy Sriracha aioli. I have tried the chicken, pork and spam buns, yes spam, which I had only enjoyed when I went to Hawaii. Today I had a yummy Maui Fresh Kalua Pork Bowl which transported my soul to Lahaina, sitting under a beautiful banyan tree. The side dishes look amazing but I never have room for them.
