Terrible. Went here for years. Last week I came to get a simple piercing changed out and of course the piercer is not in. Tonight I go back to have the jewelry I bought changed out willing to pay $15 extra dollars for it even. Called to see if piercer was there first. Just to have her refuse my service one hour before close to change out 8 piercing for one person and another for someone who walked in after me. Very rude. Third time I've tried to simply get service s here. I don't recommend it. read more

Had the sweetest employees help me out!! Today I came in as a birthday present for myself and the 2 employees were super sweet, patient, and encouraging! I ended up getting two piercings and the piercer was awesome, talked to me about each step while they were doing the piercings. They used the needles for both and was all around great! Would absolutely come again for another piercing, they definitely know their stuff and gave me extra tips on piercing bumps, cleaning, etc! I believe the piercer's name is Mack, and the other employee helping me with the documents was wonderful as well! read more

BOTCHED PIERCING REFUSED TO REFUND ME I got a horizontal eyebrow piercing with a surface bar and it was very crooked and did not have the correct jewelry. This thing stuck out of my face about 1/4 inch on one side but far less on the other. They did not have any smaller jewelry available so I went to another shop. When I went to another shop to see if we could just replace the jewelry they told me the only option was to remove the jewelry and let it heal entirely. I decided to get the same piercing on the other brow from Amber at No Regrets Tattoo (I highly recommend her!) That one came out perfect. I took out the piercing from Almost Famous the day after I got it and asked for my money back. It took two days to speak to a manager and they said they don't do refunds. The only option was to let them try again. BUT THEY DON'T STOCK THE CORRECT JEWELRY FOR THE PIERCING I WANT!!! So, I am out $75 on top off having an extra hole in my face and a lot of pain for nothing. read more

Do you ever leave a business and feel like you need a shower? Not because it's dirty, but because of the disgusting customer service you received? I've read/heard horrible things about this place and, to be honest, I would not get within 10 feet of a needle in this shop! But I figured it was safe to buy jewelry here... or so I thought. My teen went in to buy a specific size piece. The shop didn't have the size they wanted, but they were offered something similar (admittedly, they shouldn't have rushed it, but, they assumed the associate was knowledgeable). They bought the jewelry, left, further examined the jewelry, and then realized it was not near the size they wanted after all. We returned within an hour, receipt and jewelry in hand. I explained I understood their policy (there's a cute sticker on the register), but seriously, could they please at least exchange the jewelry? It wasn't what they thought it was. It hadn't been worn. It had only been one hour. The 'manager' there apparently loves to argue. I think she's had a lot of practice arguing with customers like myself. Really though, she should go into law... or telemarketing. The conversation went something like this: Her: "There are signs posted on every case" Me: "I know, I said I understand the policy--I saw the sticker" Her: "There's a paper taped to the counter with text the length of a novella explaining everything..."  Me: "I did not read the novella." Her: "We offer free jewelry switch outs so customers can try the jewelry on and make sure it's what they want."  Me: "I'm sorry... what now? We weren't told that." Her: "Oh, it's in the novella..." Me: "I did not read the novella." Her: "Well, you had the opportunity to ask." ME: ... Her: "All of these employees *points at 5 employees all standing there watching* have been here less than 2 weeks..." Me: "Oh? Surely under the circumstances you can make an exception. You and I both know exchanging it now is no different than if my kid had had it switched out here an hour ago... and we'd have done that had we known, but--" Her: "IT'S IN THE NOV..." Me: Turns and leaves. **END SCENE** She had a choice to work with a customer or dig her heels in to defend the policy that ClEaRlY cAnNoT bE bReAcHeD. Maybe she was trying to make an example of me for her new employees (also, why are there so many new employees all at once?! Can they not keep staff?)? I'm not sure.  LESSON: 1. Patronize one of the many knowledgeable and qualified locally owned and operated tattoo/piercing businesses in town. 2. Buy your jewelry online for 1/4 the price (it's the same quality). 3. Avoid franchised body piercing 'businesses' (red flags galore). read more

Management has not fixed the problem On Sunday, Dec 18th, I bought a monroe stud and back. I decided the back was too long and bought a shorter one. I put the stud in and a couple hours later it was gone. I go back. They are super busy, understaffed, and the staff member can't help me. I could wait hours for the piercer. Instead, I bought a second stud. It didn't look secure, I felt a small snap. So I waited for the piercer to be done to see what was wrong. They sold me the incorrect type of backing for my stud. I spent over $160 on one piercing since I bought everything twice. Both staff agreed that I would never have lost my first stud if they sold me the correct back. They took my number for management to call. Never received a call, and I don't think anyone deserves to pay double from a staff's mistake. The staff were kind and apologetic, but 1 star from me until management reimbursed for the $50-$60 stud. read more

Got a belly and nose piercing here for $100, with jewelry and aftercare included. The belly piercing was done well, no complaints there. But the nose piercing was done bad that I had to have it removed while I was on vacation. I went to a tattoo parlor and they told me the nose ring was improperly positioned so my nose cartilage was forming in a misshapen curve around the nose ring. I had 2 healing bumps on the same nose ring that just did not go away after 3 months. When I got it removed I was told I had to let my cartilage heal for 6 months - 1 year before I can have it repierced. I recommend not getting the nose ring and go for a stud instead for proper healing. Staff should have recommended that option instead of a ring read more

Never go to this place. They will mess up your piercing and make you pay them to fix it. Its people that just watched youtube and think they know what there doing... The only reason for us going back to them was because they would not refund the piercing or the ring. And we had to pay for another ring for them to fix it.. read more

PIERCED MY NOSE IN A DIFFERENT SPOT WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CHANGE MY JEWELRY. I came here just trying to get my jewelry in my nose changed, and I saw they had a pretty decent selection and they seemed to know what they're talking about so I went with it. They told me the jewelry I bought was 20G, 8K gold, and everything was fine until the girl started putting in my jewelry. She tries to put it into the hole, and she is clearly struggling to get it through-- my piercing was two months old so I knew it could've closed up quickly, so I was patient as she grabbed a taper for my hole, wrestles with it for a good five minutes, and ends up PIERCING A WHOLE NEW HOLE (EDIT: took picture down due to blood) between the layers of skin-- so the entry hole was the same, but the hole that the jewelry came out of a completely different spot-- she ended up pushing the whole taper through my nose cartilage. The whole process is finished, and I check the mirror, and I internally freak out because the placement is CLEARLY off, but the piercer claimed that a taper "cannot be forced through cartilage like that" and to "trust her, that was the original placement." I ended up immediately calling another actual tattoo parlor/piercing shop ranked one of the highest in C-U and got everything fixed there-- (turns out the jewelry at almost famous was 22G, not 20G as they claimed too) so please save yourself some money and do not come here. You're dealing with your precious body, and you deserve to be pierced by a true professional, not for it to be botched like mine-- there's so many amazing parlors with better prices with better skillsets in the area. read more

Great location, clean place and affordable. I went in to see if they could put my ball back in my nipple ring, I can't because of nails and I ended up just buying some cute bar bells. She did pinch my nipple kinda bad w the needle nose pliars so that really sucked and I'm not even sure she said sorry but overall nice place. Edit* two days later my nipple is extremely sore. Hindsight I regret not seeing the jewelry being handled or opened before it was brought in to me. I don't know if it was the pliar pinching or her kinda missing the guide when pushing the new ring through so much that I asked her she wanted me to do it. Anyway I hope this isn't turning infection. -____- I'll be pissed they've been done almost a year now w no problems. read more

This place is amazing. Went in for an industrial piercing and I absolutely love it! It was my first cartilage piercing and it was nearly painless. The placing is perfect and they have a wide selection of different jewelry to choose from. Very informative on aftercare and I've had no problems with healing so far. Definitely recommend! read more

I went in to get the Christina piercing done and I was extremely nervous! Katelynn was my piercer and let me just tell you, she's amazing! She helped me pick a really cute ring out and she literally took the time to explain absolutely every move she made! By the time it was time to put the clamps on and actually get pierced, I wasn't even nervous anymore and I was EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE thanks to katelynn! The last time I went in to get my second hole pierced they told me it would be $120. I couldn't believe it was going to cost so much just to get my second hole. Even my sister who has multiple piercings said that didn't sound right. Now I'll be going to another place here soon to get it done for much cheaper. Sucks that it was my second time going and I was told that it would cost so much. I can't afford to spend so much just for my second hole when there's an amazing place in town who does it for cheaper and the staff that day was very rude to my fiancée and I. I had a GREAT experience here. I was a bit hesitant to try them initially because I have never had any piercings done in a mall location. But, I am really glad I did! I went in and asked for a rook piercing and tragus piercing. We looked over options for jewelry and the sales peson was helpful in letting me know how different styles would heal. They were out of the color/style I wanted in titanium so we discussed nickel as an alternative. I was asked if I had any nickel sensitivity and I said that I did not so, we went with nickel for the rook. Kate did my piercings and she was amazing! Very clean and detailed. She helped me with breathing to lessen the pain and relax. I am really impressed with her. I loved the result. However, the next day I was screaming in pain! My tragus was perfect but the rook....not so much. I dealt with it for 5 days and then could not stand it anymore. I ended up taking the jewelry out myself at home. I felt relief almost immediately after so I knew that I must have a nickel sensitivity after all! Completely not their fault! Went back in and they were really understanding and caring about it. Kate looked it over and suggested I wait 2 weeks to get it redone. I got it redone with titanium and I love it!!! read more
