My wife, sister-in-law, and a friend of the family stopped in here for breakfast. Oddly enough,…read moreonly one of us actually ordered breakfast. French toast. Looked delicious! My wife had a salad and egg salad sandwich, her sister had a Caesar salad and both said that they enjoyed their choice.I had a French dip sandwich, as recommended by our server who was friendly and made good recommendations, also keeping the refills on coffee coming regularly, which is appreciated. The French dip was very good, but the bread/baguette, was incredibly good! Really special! I really liked the coffee as well, apparently a local supplier,, although I forgot the name. Place was not overly crowded on arrival but had a wait of 20 people or so by the time we finished. Highly recommend! Wonderful throwback to yesterday year atmosphere.

Turns out that the night before we ate at McNellie's, which is a part of the restaurant chain that owns the diner. Our server at McNellie's was terrific and they knew her. We were seated promptly with a nice view of the door. We started our breakfast with coffee, which was strong and very good. I decided to pack on the carbos with a short stack of pancakes topped with caramel sauce, bananas, and walnuts. Wow, they call this a short stack! I am quite certain I could never eat a tall stack! My wife ordered the breakfast tacos, which looked quite small compared to my pancakes, but she loved the flavor--a nice mix of scrambled eggs, avocado, and cajito cheese! More coffee! We rolled out of the place very satisfied and pleased with the service, ambience, and food! We highly recommend the Dilly diner!

I promise it doesn't taste weird or have any strange textures. It's just delicious. The place is really cute, and the servers there are great. This area of Tulsa is one of those pocket neighborhoods that feels like it simultaneously belongs…read moresomewhere else and is quintessentially T-Town. The same could be said about Maple Ridge Grocer but with time. As you walk into the restaurant the well lit bar area is to your left with most of the dining area to the right. The colors inside are retro bubble gum pink and light blue with booths, low top and high top seating options inside and a patio. My coworker and I were meeting others for a team dinner so decided to sample the bar offerings as we waited. I ordered their non-alcoholic Lavender French 75, which came in a champagne glass. Sweet but refreshing, it reminded me of a drink that I used to order at a now closed coffee shop in Greenwood. For the sober crowd, you feel "included" with this drink without sacrificing the aesthetic. My friend opted for their mescal based cocktail Smoked Apple Cider and while I didn't taste it myself, she said that the "smoked" was slightly more than her preference but still tasted delicious. For appetizers we ordered their Fried Pickle Basket with various vegetables mixed in (including some green tomatoes!) and their queso, served with thinner cut wedge fries. The Fried pickle basket's offerings were a hit with the table but not so much the queso. It tasted good, but I think we had a pre-conceived notion of "queso" that didn't match the delivery. It happens and I would recommend still trying it as something beyond what you're used to. :) My entree was the cider pork chop that came with fried Brussel sprouts that I ordered extra crispy, cheddar grits, and an apple au jus on top. The pork was cooked well! It was bone in which is difficult to nail. The grits were good and I liked that it was the "bed" of the chop so all those delish juices mixed with the fine ground grits. For the brussell sprouts, I loved the fry on them but wish they have removed more of the stem. I ate around it and I am sure it's more of my personal preference than anything. I will say that if you aren't a "sweet" food person, get the au jus on the side. Something of note is that this place has ice water galore in carafes on the table but only serve soda in cans or bottles. They also didn't have sweet tea and I can't remember if they said they had unsweet tea or not. Another couple of notes: - These seem to be high quality ingredients across the board and the menu is small and seasonal. That also means the prices are going to reflect that, so don't expect chain restaurant price tags for a local experience. - This place also serves what looks like a fantastic spread for breakfast and brunch, so that just means I'll simply have to come back so I can have the full (yummy!) experience. - There is limited parking near the restaurant but it was easy to find parking near where you would park to do the walking trail near there, directly across the street from the Mercury Lounge near the other black building (name escapes me, I'm sorry!) Last but not least: Mariah was our waitress for a table of 8 and she was phenomenal, alongside her coworker whose name I didn't catch, unfortunately. Also the bartender/host was also helpful and kind when making our drink selections.

I'm a keto dieter, and I will say that there are several tasty options to choose from. I will often get a burger with no bun, which is what I was craving today. This one went beyond my expectations! It was a hand-formed 8oz patty, and the chef was able to make it a perfect medium rare. It was delectably juicy, seasoned just right, and the cheese, peppers, onions and tomatoes topped it off perfectly. My salad had nice big slices of Parmesan cheese on top, and the lettuce was fresh and crisp, the dressing just right. Removing croutons is never a problem, but I appreciated that they happily left them off when they prepared the salad. If you're looking for keto options, you'll find many good choices here!

When I advised that I had called and she placed me on hold but never came back. I told her that I was on hold long enough to brush my teeth and get dressed. She rolled her eyes. Never apologizing. While waiting on my food, a gentleman came up complaining about his service. She IMMEDIATELY apologized and adjusted his bill, then laughed and talked with him. I've been here before and had a wonderful conversation with the manager and hostess that was on duty. This time, was a bad experience. My order was two Ceaser salads with blackened shrimp. The food took FOREVER!!!! The customer service was DEFINITELY lacking! Whitney if you hate your job or certain folks, maybe do something else because life is WAY too short. Next time I'm here, I'll DoorDash if she's on duty. I will not go where I do NOT feel welcomed.
